This is a great weight sweater for indoor winter wear. So many cardigans are flannel lined and too hot. This is a perfect weight with a nice heft.

i bought this as a christmas gift for my son -- he loved it. perfect for chilly nights -- he liked having that zip-up feature rather than over-the-head style. as always, LL bean makes a quality, attractive product.

Heavy, tight weave, comfortable fit, professional but casual looking. I immediately bought another because it was such a quality piece of clothing.

I purchased this sweater for it's color (rust orange), fit (M), styling and comfort. It is exactly what I wanted. I recently lost a bit of weight and wasn't sure of the sizing. I used the sizing chart AND referenced an LL Bean cotton Fisherman's sweater I bought 12 years ago. The sizing was nearly identical. To me, that's dependability. This sweater has a bit of heft to it. It is warm with a t shirt, and even better over a long sleeve dress shirt. It is stylish and gives full range of motion. When considering LL Bean, I expect to pay more, because I understand they will pay attention to details that matter to me. The sweater offerings here won't change on a whim like they do at the mall stores. I know that an LL Bean sweater will look just as great 6 years from now, as it does today (as long as I take care of it). Please don't erode quality for volume and a lower price. You really DO get more when you pay for it.

Just what I was looking for for my husband, and he loves it. A nice, thick sweater that keeps its shape. Has pockets and a smooth sliding zipper. Love the weave. It really looks nice.

My husband asked for a full zippered sweater for Xmas. He has one cable full zip, purchased at LL Bean 2 years ago. I actually bought two of these. He has not seen them yet. My choice was based on previous LL Bean sweaters and their fit and lasting wear. They are quite heavy and seem appropriate for Maine winters.

U love wool sweaters but this cotton weave is wonderful. It's the kinda garment you can wear out to be casual. It's the kinda sweater you want to put on when you get home fro a hard day. The weight is luxurious. The quality of the yarn and of the stitching is first class.

Love the full-zip convenience of this chunky sweater. Perfect for layering. The waffle knit is one of my favorite styles.

I bought this for myself, because the women's sweaters don't have pockets. The sleeves are too long, but I roll them up because I want and need pockets.
