My wife wanted to buy me a new sweater with buttons or a zipper as I have several pullovers. Unfortunately, she bought me a high-priced way too big one from a competitor. We had huge exchange problems, even when driving to the store. After 3 messed up messages, we cancelled the reorder. We then looked at your webpage and I found this great sweater; in a color I love in the proper size. It arrived promptly and the fit and warmth were outstanding. During these cold winter evenings, it is great to come home and slip into this cozy sweater to settle down to watch the news. The waffle weave is so comfortable it already feels like an old friend, just waiting to snuggle. Thanks, L.L. Bean and goodbye competitor! The mixed messages about in stock, no longer available and re-order is unknown length backorder AND with the reorder back to original price, $40 more than expensive sales price, I was disgusted. Who needs a sweater in 6-8 weeks, I want it now! Their customer service was awful, while yours was smooth, friendly and flawless with no mixed messages or bait and switch.

My husband loves it! This sweater looks great dressed up with slacks or dressed down with blue jeans.

I have 3 of these sweaters now: a full zip, quarter zip and a cardigan. Great weight. Quality workmanship.

It allows me to go out in cold weather without a coat, except in extreme temps

This is a great buy. It is well made, fits nice, attractive, gets lots of compliments

My husband loves the softness, the weight of the fabric as well as the color. He says that it's just the right amount of warmth without overheating him in central Texas. For reference, his normal size in an L.L. Bean dress shirt is XL, with a 17 1/2 in. neck and 35-in. sleeve length so I chose an XL. The sleeve length on the sweater might be a smidge too long, but not to the level of irritation. He's 5'9" and over 200 lb. and likes shirts/sweaters on the looser side. My husband and I would recommend this sweater.

Waffle knit is as warm as wool without the itch! The open weave allows confined air to warm up quickly. The styling is classic with the convenience of hand pockets and high collar make a chilly house more tolerable.

Thick material. They didn't cut any corners. I'm 6'1 185lb, ordered the xl tall, great fit. If you look closely there are multiple colors in the stitching. Adds depth and contrast. Dope sweater. I'd hate to bump the price up for the next season I have to replace this, but WORTH EVERY DOLLAR
