The quality of the shirt is decent, but after one wash it shrunk so much that it no longer fits. I am disappointed we paid for the Tall for it to only fit before it was washed.

Ordered this shirt in the heather gray and dark gray in the Spring in the large and loved them -long enough not to pull out of my husband's pants when tucked in. Just ordered the dark green and the dark port in the large and they were way too short and the sleeves were impossibly long. What's going on Bean?? These are going back and not sure what size to reorder now.

Shirt quality was excellent however sizing was off. The shirt was much too big all around, returned.

This is considered a tall, but without the cuffs, the sleeve length isn't long enough. The cuff should come down lower on the arm. I don't trust "Unshrinkable" in the product name.

Always wear an xl, this fits like a large. Very odd fit, short in body and sleeve length. I`m 5-11, 185 lbs. Dissapointed would not order again or recommend.

Tried a L and an XL in an effort to get this to fit. Even with the XL, the sleeves are about an inch shorter than I'm used to. I suppose you could try a "tall", but I'm just going to use this as a work shirt. I never buy talls 'cause the proportions are usually look pretty bizarre.

Really nice fabric, but oddly loose at the waist (as has become the norm with LLBean shirts) and with slightly short sleeve length. Wrist elastic is strong, but almost to strong to push up sleeves.

Nice tee shirt but both sleeves are permanently twisted at the knitted cuff. Can't be fixed and should have been caught by the manufacturer.

Looks like you took away the pocket. Hope that doesn't last. Loved these with a pocket. 5 stars with a pocket.

I own several of these long sleeve tees, and there is alot to like. However, they do have an annoying design flaw, in that they show rapid deterioration in the cuff, where it attaches to the sleeve. Many holes and tears begin appearing right along the sew line. The shirts are nice right away, but will wear out much sooner than the other quality tees on the market.

I felt the material was heavy, but a bit rough. Great if your planning a day of outdoor hiking up some mountain - not so great if you are wearing it to hang out at home. The size fits a bit baggy, I wish the material was softer. Think "potato sack" and you are halfway there. Not what I would consider a high-quality item.

This shirt is a relaxed fit. Way relaxed. Not "Traditional " unless LL Bean's traditional customers is 6 feet tall 225 pounds
I sent it back. With tags on. I got $20 back. I paid $54
So I'll not be back to LL Bean

Here is a problem I am finding in the clothing industry. As more people gain weight, XXL shirts are becoming too large in the waist. These shirts fit in the shoulders but are maternity shirts at the waist. I had to return all of the shirts I bought. This was not an issue years ago, but nowadays, it seems to be the standard. Unless you have a seamstress in the house, I'd pass on these shirts.

Bought three of these on sale at the store, win, but after the first wash the collars on all three "baconed" so they look ugly. Returning.

Similar to review I just did for the short sleeve version.
I like the tall size length but everything else is of concern. The material says made in Vietnam and 100% cotton but this must be some misrepresentation. This is not 100% cotton unless they put in 1 quarter the number of threads to keep the claim. Disappointed as I have fallen in love with the sweatshirts from LL Bean and their quality and was hoping it would extend to other lines but it has not. LL Bean's merchandise buyer needs to address this asap. When you have send me a sample to tell you if I reverse my opinion.

This was the first long sleeve T that I have ordered that seemed to shrink after laundering.

After the first washing of this shirt, the collar already looks stretched and old. I won't buy this shirt again and I am someone who has bought many of these shirts in the past.

I have long arms and torso, so I buy Tall shirts. The shirt length was good for a Tall, but the arms were about an inch shorter than needed. Also, the fabric of this long-sleeve T-shirt seems cheaper than the corresponding short-sleeve version. I have two of the short sleeve shirts, and they are a denser, heavier feeling fabric, which I like. I was disappointed in this shirt for both reasons, and wouldn't buy another.

I purchased probably 6 of these shirts several years ago and they all yellowed terribly over time. Never had any white shirts I've owned do so this badly. I washed them the same as other white t-shirts, so I don't know why. My wife tried bleaching but no luck. She insisted I throw them away. Very good t-shirt other than that. I need some more now, but hate to buy any more of these.

The sleeves were way too baggy. It felt like wearing a tent on the arms. Talk about having "bingo arms". The sleeves were waving in the breeze.

It's supposed to be 100% cotton, but it feels artificial: the fibers seem to have been coated with something unpleasant, possibly to make it less likely to wrinkle (?). Not that it doesn't wrinkle, so why someone thought it was a good idea to mess with 100% cotton remains a mystery.
The overall effect is like cheap polyester. I had purchased two for use at night, but the material is just itchy enough to the point where I had to get up in the middle of the night and change. It's OK for daytime use.
Repeated washing hasn't helped. Useless purchase and I will return the unopened one.

Been ordering Bean's long sleeve tee for years. Totally disappointed with this recent 'Made in Vietnam' version. A significant change in sizing vs. prior version. I would liken this closer to a fitted cut not the generous sizing I am used to. After I tried on this new shirt I then put on one of several older ones which have been washed and dried many times. The old ones are more roomy . The new ones have great colors but what good if they do not fit. Back to Land's End go I.
