Not heavy enough to wear without layers and not light enough to wear without. The breast pocket was nice but unnecessary and not functional. It missed the mark as a sweatshirt.

I've been buying Bean clothing, including long sleeve T-Shirts for years and years. Fit was fine. But this item is ill-fitting. The sleeves are voluminous -- poofy (like in the Seinfeld episode), and it appears the shoulders are too roomy as well. (I fall well within the Medium, Regular size. 40 inch chest.)

I've been buying these for years and have a bunch of them. Last order I got three different colors. The material in the black shirt seems thinner/cheaper than normal. Hoping this is a fluke and not a trend.

Returned. I tried one of these because they stopped carrying the slightly fitted ones, which are my favorites. This fit like a tent. Shoulders were a slim fit, not to roomy, and then I could have fit two of me in the bottom. Flares out like a tent (almost like a woman's shirt), makes me look 20 pounds heavier and pear shaped. Also didn't care for the hemming at the wrists, pretty tight, which gave the sleeves an extra puffy look. Not a good fit at all. If you are bigger around the middle than at the shoulders, this is probably a great fit. The material is nice, comfy and soft, but I couldn't get past the fit. If they don't bring back the slightly fitted tees, I'll have to look elsewhere.

I thought this would be a good casual long-sleeve Tee, but the fit is a little off. The bottom of the arm holes are about halfway down the body of the shirt which then movement when worn is awkward at best and not very comfortable.

Doesn't hold it's shape! Difficult to put on and take off

Purchased these carefree tees in the past. They were always so soft, not this time. Very rough feeling, seems fabric has changed. Disappointing

I ordered the size I would normally order for a regular short sleeve t-shirt. I was way too large.

I have been purchasing these (with pockets) for a number of years. But last couple purchases I note that the quality has taken a downturn and the color offerings are, at best, bland, at this point. Note also, LL Bean, the wrist band should not be the same diameter as the shirt - that defeats the purpose of it. Another suggestion about the wrist band: make the shirts so that the wrist band actually remains attached to the shirt. These are a couple of quality issues that I am noting

Bought a few of theses two years ago and needed to replace. These are thinner by half and longer by 4 inches. I am 6'1" and bought an XL, thought about the tall size but if I did I could probably wear it as a dress. C'mon Bean, get back to what you were. Vietnam - Bangladesh - make something here in the USA so the quality can be better. I bought four tops in XL and the sleeve length varied for 34 in. to 37 in.. Do better Bean.

Actually purchased 2 of the long sleeve tees at the LL Bean outlet in Concord NH. The first shirt was perfect so the 2 star review is only for tee #2. The shirt was marked as an irregular and after inspecting the shirt I couldn't see anything obviously wrong. However, when I tried the shirt on at home it was much tighter than I expected and not comfortable. I'm wondering if the irregular designation came from the inconsistent sizing of the shirt. I bought two other tees that day (1 long sleeve, 1 short) and both fit exactly as I expected and consistent with all of my other LL Bean tees. I wish I could bring it back for an exchange but I had already removed the tags and laundered it before I tried it on. If sizing is one of the criteria for an "irregular" designation then I will be a lot more careful to avoid any irregular product in the future.

Wasn't what I expected, just a little to heavy otherwise it was ok.

I have always worn size medium in Bean's long-sleeve t-shirts. I bought this shirt in medium and the sleeves were 2" too long. I returned it and exchanged it for a small but the sleeves were still too long! Sadly this will have to go to Goodwill and I will end my 40 year association with Bean since their sizes have become unpredictable.

I have bought these shirts in this size numerous times in the past but these are incredibly oversized. In this case I would root for some shrinkage!

Comfortable,good fit but after a few washes the collar loses its shape

Spent a little extra money on this shirt as the collar on similar shirts from other stores would wrinkle up like bacon after a few washes. Same thing happened with this shirt. After just a few washes on delicate/low heat dry, collar is wrinkled. Unfortunately I usually wear it under other shirts so the collar is the only thing that shows. Sleeves also seem kind of big around bicep/chest area so unless you have massive guns, this shirt may feel a little baggy.

The shirt is way too large for my trim husband. It is way too wide and loose on him.

I bought this long sleeve tee in grey and blue and loved them, so I decided to order one in green. The second time wearing the green shirt I accidentally dribbled some sauce on it while eating a burger. When I got home I sprayed a little Shout stain remover on it then tossed it in to wash. When it came out it had a noticeable color fade on the chest, so much so that I can't wear it out of the house. I've used the same Shout on other items without incident so clearly the fade is the result of the poor color quality of the shirt fabric. I'm very disappointed since I love this t-shirt in other colors.

Comfortable but huge. The shirt is comfortable but buy yourself a size smaller than you actually wear.

The men's medium was way too big, bigger than other items I've bought in men's medium.

I wore it three times and the bottom hemline unraveled.

I bought these shirts previously and was happy with them, so I order replacements when they wore out. I ordered the same size and same shirt, but this time they are too large and the purple bled in the wash and ruined the white shirt I had bought from you in this order. So, I not exactly happy. I've been an LL Bean customer for years and never experienced anything like this. Sadly, I'll have to think twice about buying from you again.

The material is quality enough but the fit is stupid. A medium swallows me. It balloons like a caftan. For some reason the cuff is the only thing that is small, giving the huge sleeves a puffy shirt look. Ugh!

I've been very happy with LLBean SS T-shirts, and tried this one in same size M. It is big and long, very long. I'm 5'9 and it goes to mid-thigh. Untucked, there is 3" sticking out from jackets. Too bad there is not some consistency in size M in the same brand.

I wonder if LL Bean actually tries the clothing themselves? The arms are way too big. If you have Hulk arms maybe this will fit. For the other 99%, way to big.
