I purchased this shirt in white last winter for my husband. He wore it during the winter months, put it way for summer and fall, and began wearing it again this December. I noticed that the neck binding was becoming somewhat 'crinkly' but didn't think too much about it. But as he is now wearing the shirt again, the neck binding has definitely developed a 'bacon' neck. He loves the fit and feel of the shirt but the neck binding is quite ugly. Unfortunately, my daughter bought 2 more for her father for Christmas. I don't know whether or not I should keep the new shirts or not. I would never have thought this would happen to this otherwise nice shirt. We have had no neckline trouble with the short sleeve polo unshrinkable tees that he also loves.

Great shirt. However, the color was much darker than the catalog photo. I did not have time to return it before wrapping it for Christmas.

I think this company want's everyone to feel like they are wearing a small size. More to return way big and boxy. Med looks like a large for men.

The quality of the materials is top notch, and I loved the color. The fabric has a substantial weight/thickness to it, which I like, but should be noted in case you're looking for a more thin and lightweight shirt. I bought a Large, which is what I always get (mostly to ensure the sleeves are long enough), but the shirt was HUGE on me. It felt like a billowy XL. I probably should have bought the fitted version.

The arms weren't long enough xl tall and had to return. I liked the material, it was too bad it didn't fit.

I have bought several of these shirts for every day use and love the comfort aspects of it. In these past years the cuffs develop holes around the stitching. It is my one complaint on the item. I think they could be made better especially b/c they represent the LLBean company.
So, buyers, be aware of this flaw and decide whether you want to purchase an item which develops these holes in 6 months time.

I used to like these shirts so I thought it was safe to buy one or two more. But the previous ones were all cotton. These say "100% cotton exclusive of trim." And that's the problem. I don't want a collar and cuffs that stretch. I especially don't want cuffs that are so tight that no air gets up the sleeves. Maybe if I was looking for an airtight turtleneck to keep me warm. But that's not at all what I expect in a tee shirt.

Almost every time I see a great woman's shirt from LLBean, it's only available in Misses sizes. So, I bought these instead.

I own several of these Tees. The latest batch have exceptional fabric. The fit is perfect until.............. they eventually shrink, sometimes.
LL Bean is very good about the warranty on this garment. I have one that is about 2 years old and it has shrunk. The fabric is still in very, very nice condition. I have compared said shirt to the newly purchased Tee (that has been washed a couple times mind you) and it has shrunk.
I will be contacting LL Bean about and exchange.

This long sleeve t-shirt has enormous arms. My husband has worn this size forever and the arms have never been a problem. I am returning it.

i have a drawer full of these shirts that I no longer wear due to bacon collar or whatever you want to call it. if they could somehow fix that these shirts would be great but to pay $25 for a tshirt where the collar goes after 4-5 washes is steep. i finally bought a much cheaper brand for 20% of the cost that still have a flat collar after a year.

I have purchased these t-shirts for my husband in the past only to be extremely delighted with the quality and thickness. However, having just bought 5 more the shirts were not of the same quality. Not bad enough to return but I was disappointed.

I had a 10-15 year-old L.L. Bean long sleeve tee-shirt and I wanted to buy more. The one I had was quite thick and soft. The new ones (unfortunately) are nowhere near the same quality and are quite thin. I returned them.

I like the shirt, good quality and feel. But after one wash the arms are abnormally short. Not sure if they were that way before the wash since I didn't try it on before washing. I thought this might be normal for LL Bean but then I saw another recent review for the navy blue color noting how short the sleeves were while other colors fit fine. I'm 6' and 185 lbs and large, regular usually fits me fine. I ordered the tall size to see how that one fits but the one I have is only wearable underneath something else.

Shirt was nice & seemed to be made well but the fabric was not as thick or sturdy as previous long sleeve T's that I've purchased. Doesn't feel as warm and I guess time will tell if it holds up as well as my previous T's.

I own every color of this shirt and love them immensely during fall and winter. The navy version was on backorder yet shipped within a few weeks after ordering. The shirt is great as always but the shirt itself feels "shorter". All the other colors lengthwise are fine but for whatever reason the navy is noticeably shorter. Zero idea why. Strange. I guess I'll have to deal with it but am reluctant to wear as much as my other colors.

I've been ordering this item for many years but on my last order the product had a few changes that don't work for me. The cotton material is more billowy, sort of like a thin flannel, than the traditional feel of your cotton for T-shirts. Also the sizing seems to have changed and the sleeves are too long. This new batch is just too billowy and long! I guess I will use my last order of these as "sleepers" this winter, but that was not my intention. I did notice that all of these that I have ordered previously were made in China but this new order was made in Vietnam.
I'm attaching an example pic of my previously ordered Ts (on the left), and one from my most recent order (right side). See the difference in size.
When are you going back to your standard long sleeve cotton T that I have loved so much over the years???

This is supposed to be 100% cotton, but after a few washes the fabric is getting fuzzy and scratchy like a synthetic shirt. I only bought this this shirt style because the previous cotton shirt style I purchased and wanted to reorder is no longer available.

I love the color and quality of these long sleeve T-shirts and I like it that they are made of stretchy material. What I do not like is that they are not true to size. The sleeves are huge and droopy and the shoulder area is larger than a regular XL. I look like a bag of rags in this shirt.

I have bought Unshrinkable Tees for years, both long and short sleeves. The two long sleeve Tees I bought in December are a HUGE disappointment. The new stretchy fabric is less comfortable and creates a lot of static. The tag says 100% cotton but it doesn't have the look or feel of cotton. If you are a long term fan of these Tees, be prepared to be disappointed and save your packing slip for a returns.

Bought large based on size guide, but it is too big and boxy, not comfortable when wearing under sweater.

Loose, oversize fit through the body and arms and a tiny, tiny neck opening. If I move my head at all it digs into my throat... but with extra tent-like "I should have gone a size down" amount of fabric everywhere else. Unwearable.

Ive owned 10 to 12 of these over the past several years and they always fit perfectly. Unfortunately the last two are considerably larger, and no longer fit well. Apparently the supplier must have changed. Whatever the reason, I will not likely order again because of the fit.

Shirt fit quite well overall but I found the ends of the sleeves uncomfortably tight, and the collar was also tight. Ended up returning.
