The "unshrinkable" shrank. I bought two of these shirts, one in delta blue and the other in purple night. I washed and dried them in the same load according to the instructions, and while the delta blue didn't shrink, the purple night shrank considerably--the sleeves were nearly an inch shorter than the delta blue shirt. Weird. I'm returning the one shirt and ordering the same color in tall.

I'm 5'11" and 170lbs. First purchased the regular version in a medium. After one wash, they did shrink lengthwise. Reordered the "tall" in a medium and these fit great even though they also shrank in the length. I do like these - very comfortable. They are not unshrinkable though.

love the feel of it - even though it is a tall - the sleeves are about one half inch shorter than i expected or wanted them to be. maybe i will have to go back to ordering xl talls - though they are kind of baggy

We ordered the t-shirt in a Tall size to have longer sleeves, however, the sleeves were too short. Too bad because my husband really liked the T shirt.

Comfyish but the sleeves are so short I had to give it to my wife. Huge bummer after paying a lot for a shirt.

Material is thick and soft and shirt fits well initially, however after washing the sleeves are short and the body a bit tight. Definitely not unshrinkable, and if it shrinks more it might be unwearable. Disappointing.

I love the fabric and colors. I bought three. But the large-tall is supposed to fit 36" sleeves and it doesn't. It was about 35" new and 34" or less after washing once. Website says the sleeves are longer in XLT, but why does LL Bean think all tall people are overweight? Frustrating.

Looked at these shirts several weeks ago at $24.95 each. One week later the price is $27.95 each. Okay, we ordered three. We opened the delivered shirts to find each shirt is tagged with $24.95 as the price. Price hikes are not uncommon, but perhaps LL Bean could take off the lower price tags if they are going to charge us $3 more per shirt.

I have been ordering these tees for a number of years and they are getting really weak around the collar. The newest ones I've bought don't hold up as the ones from a few years ago, also they seem to not be as stain resistant either.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great shirt, true to size and maintains its shape EXCEPT in the neck area, it wrinkles like bacon. After a few washes, expect wrinkling in the neck area.

Have ordered tall size T-shirt's in the past but the shirts I received in this order are 3 inches longer than those in past orders. The sleeves on your regular T-shirt's are too short so I need the arm length of the tall size. I will have to take these to my tailor and have them shortened.

I bought a medium since that was the recommended size, and it was okay until I wash it... Carefree Unshrinkable Tee? No way!! it shrunk quite a bit... I will exchange it for a large.. The Finish and color are great love it. I recommend buy one size up

L.L.Bean sizing is like none I have ever encountered before, I wish they'd take the sleeves of the large maybe even the XL and put it on this shirt. Does anyone in product testing wear watches anymore?

No shape. Way oversized for 2x. More like a 3x. Neck was tight for a bigger size

I first bought a large and it was to big. I returned it for a medium and it still fit big in the arms. I paid shipping twice and am now just stuck with a shirt because I don't want to pay shipping a third time to return it.

Bought 3 ls t-shirts. Different colors, same size. Each one fits differently. Same review I gave the last t-shirts the same review. I would think LL BEAN would monitor their vendors closet. This has always been a problem with the t-shirts.

Quality of unshrinkable tees has changed. I have been purchasing these tees for many years and in the last year I have found that the ribbed collar waffles after a few washings. This did not happen before, but has happened with the last 3 tees purchased.

Unshrinkable, not the sleeves. Nice material, soft, good fit at the neck. I like them snug for cold weather, would like a bigger, taller collar. I'm stretching out the sleeves, but it might be a losing battle?

Very nice fabric, but way, way too wide for someone with an even slightly slim or normal build. LL Bean, please offer these in a tailored or slim fit! Twenty-somethings, teens and those with average builds deserve quality shirts, too!

I have been buying Men's Carefree Unshrinkable Tee, Traditional Fit, Long-Sleeve shirts for over 20 years. This purple shirt is noticeably smaller and tighter. The description says 100% cotton fabric but that does not include neck- and wrist-bands which have some kind of lycra incorporated. I hate "tight" anything and these parts never get any looser. Probably great for most people but I liked how the cuffs would loosen after a few hours of wear. It may be just this color, I hope so!

The shirt fits well and did not shrink. It is very warm and comfortable. The only negative is that there have been 2 long strands of stitching that have come loose, and I have only worn it 4 times. We do not have a agitator washer, so don't know what is going on. I do like the shirt though
