I have worn these for 15 years. I love them. You made them bigger. Approx. 2in. longer and 1in wider then all of my old ones.

These t-shirts seemed to be of a lighter weight material than before. Prefer a little beefier material. Otherwise great.

The unshrinkable t-shirt is true to its name! This shirt is a staple of my husband's wardrobe. He has several colors. Very comfortable, wears and washes well. The sleeve length is perfect and the collar is wide (not skimpy like some t-shirts). The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that some colors fade after a few washings. Please bring back the white. Everybody needs a few good white t-shirts! I always stocked up on the white ones when there is a sale.

Good quality. Good fit. Holds it's shape.

Has a nice soft stretch material. As usual, neck is not tight and shirt is a little too long. So, spent the money to have the neck tightened and shirt shortened. I don't understand why manufactures don't get it...that many of us don't like a low neck T or having the shirt cover our butt. I order my T's ten at a time, take them to the seamstress and am then good for a couple of years. But....with the personal improvements, they are great T's.

I've bought severalCarefree Tees over the years---always bought a Large. And I loved the fit. About a month ago I bought two more. But they were too big---bigger than any of the Tees I previously purchased. I even spread out the new shirts on my bed and laid older Tees on top---the new shirts where definitely bigger. In fact so much bigger that I returned them which is a pain and costs money. I like the Carefree Tee when it fits right; hate it when it doesn't. At this point I don't know whether to go with a medium or if Bean will go back to its old sizing. LL Bean---please don't do this!!!

The quality of the shirts is very good, heavy material which I like. Only problem is I should have gotten a Large instead my normal X-Large. The cut is bigger than most t-shirts.

I ordered this first as a large, which I always wear. It was too big. I returned it and re-ordered a medium. Fits properly.

I've been buying t-shirts here for over 20 years without size problems until now. Bought three of these, all were a full size too large. Returned and bought one size smaller, which was perfect.

excellent fit and quality but price was also in quality area. too high for my budget.

Good quality T shirt for me I always get the tall size. It would be nice to BRING BACK THE V-NECK version however

I ordered the Tall version to allow the shirt to be worn w/o being tucked in and so the shirt lays flat against the body in the rear. Collar quickly starts to curl with use.

I'd give 4.5 stars. This X-Large/Tall fits great except for the title complaint; the necks are always too tight until these "T"'s are well worn in. I have been relying on them for decades anyway.

Soft, comfortable and well-fitting - what more do you want?

I've owned several of these t-shirts for a couple years now, and when they're right - I love 'em. Unfortunately, regarding the fit, you never know what you're going to get from order to order. I recently ordered one of these in Loden. I got it, it was larger than the last batch I ordered, but it still looked good. Then, I ordered this one. When I put it on, I thought "Did they send me an XXL by accident?". Sure enough, I laid the Loden tee down over the new tee, and it the new one was noticeably wider (it may not seem significant in the photos, but it definitely affects the way the shirt looks while wearing it). I love these shirts, they feel wonderful, they're stylish, but they've got some standardization issues. Just FYI.

I'm a short ,fat guy, that has been ordering your t-shirts for years. The last three shirts that I've purchased have a longer "tail" that covers my butt. Since I almost always wear my t-shirts out, the longer fit is not good. I'm just wondering if the "fit" has been changed on purpose?

The quality of the fabric and the workmanship was very good but the size was way too big compared with similar shirts from other major mens clothing companies.

Nice shirt, but too long for my husband. Wish LL Bean would make shirts in a shorter size, I would buy more for him. Returned.

These are great tshirts, very comfortable. It would be great to have more color choices and in particular, white! A white shirt goes with everything!

Would like to see more colors. The collar is the only problem I have with this shirt. The material around the neck tends to bunch-up and looks wavy.

I have been wearing these shirts in the dark Navy Blue for years. It's comfortable, good weight fabric with a smooth, wrinkle resistant feel, and has a POCKET, which is almost a throwback these days., perfect for a pair of Reader glasses. They also hold up. The only knock on these shirts is lack of decent colors. Anything but the dark blue or black is some kind of "pastel" form, and just don't do anything for me. The "Maratime Red" looks almost pink! C'mon, L.L.Bean, get some deeper reds, greens, or yellows that might appeal to guys like me.

It's the only shirt I wear in the summer. I have around a dozen of them. I'm not impressed with some of the greens and blues that you currently have available. I have two different greens that aren't bad but the latest one is awful.

Nothing better than pure cotton. I have not adjusted to the "new" synthetic fabrics, but have worn them. Cotton is the best! I bought 5 of these, but different colors. Wear them all the time. Don not like wearing theme T-shirts except for OSU or YSU. Definitely recommend.

The black, carefree unshrinkable is my go-to tee. It's versatile, holds color well, really doesn't shrink and is comfortable, but the fit is not as good as the "slightly fitted" version that has been discontinued. Please bring back the "slightly fitted" unshrinkable tee and it will be the perfect tee!

Liked everything about the shirts. Launder nicely. Thought they would have been a little heavier weight. Glad they were available without a chest pocket. But happy with the purchase and the very quick delivery.
