Comfortable and a True to size fit for me.

LL Beans carefree t shirt wears great looks good out of washer, and is comfortable. The shirt runs a little large. The color isn't as show, a bit darker. I wanted a lighter blue for my husband. A great value that will last along time.

I really like the tee's and the size in 2xl tall are a good fit for me. However, after washing in cold water and drying they did shrink up. The shrinkage was most noticeable in the length and around the stomach.

Shirt fit quite well. I ordered the tall size because I get tired of tee shirts shrinking up plus I have a long torso. Don't have to worry about the shirt creeping up out of my pants in the back now. I hoped the fabric would be a little heavier in weight for the cost of the shirt.

I was a bit dismayed to see they were made in Vietnam, not in the USA. Why is that?

Purposefully bought this brand because it said "unshrinkable" -- as all of my husband's other t-shirts have failed to stay true to size after washings. This started off as a bit too large but has shrunk oh-so-slightly to provide a relaxed yet comfortable fit. The feel of the cotton is superb. It is pricey but given how hard it is to find the right fit that doesn't shrink, it is worth it.

I purchased this on behalf of my elderly mother as a gift to her son.
He was pleased to receive it and she was happy to get him what she thought he would wear over and over ...under his scrubs daily.
However, $30 for one t-shirt including delivery that took 2 weeks to receive, is in my mind highway robbery from a 90 yr old woman with few resources.
On the other hand, despite her being stressed over the late date delivered, she was pleased w color and quality of product.

The original care free t-shirts were the best. This latest rendition is still a great shirt but is not breathable material. Holds in sweat like crazy. I think it has to do with the "soft" coating applied to the shirt in production. That is my only complaint.

I love these T-Shirts so much I bought several for my 11 year old son. He is still growing and a men's small gave him just enough room to grow into. He loves the soft cotton but they are tough enough for a boys use.

I like the look and feel of it, but the "medium" label is misleading; it's too large. That's the problem with so many garments: no standardization.

My husband really likes these Tee's. I order the Tall size so that I can put them in the dryer and they stayed tucked into his jeans. He really likes the pocket feature. The color selection is excellent and they do not fade significantly with washing! So the "BUT" is that the neck line edge always wears down quickly-leaving an open edge with holes in it-long before the rest of the tee is anywhere near worn out. Since he wears these with under flannel or canvas shirts for work, it is frustrating....looks unprofessional with a tattered neckline!!

I have a big problem with the tag placed inside the side of the T-shirt. That is extremely stupid. I have put up with that tag for years. If I find a good shirt without a tag I'm gone. As I get older I guess my skin is more sensitive.

I have written reviews on these shirts before, overall they are great t-shirts and long lasting. I usually get XLT, but this time just went with XL as that is what LL Beans recommendation was, it was too short lenght wise for me. I really wish sizing was right between shirts, the polo's I get here I need to just get XL because I'm swimming in XLT, same with sweatshirts. But with these T-shirts I know next time to buy XLT.

I am extremely disappointed that only 1 was shipped. I ordered 2. Your website said both were in stock. ! was shown later to be on backorder with no shipping date disclosed. I want the other shirt I paid for.

Good products, good value. Always concerned about how quickly the neck finishing material wrinkles up, usually after two or three washings. Otherwise, one of my favorite products.

The title says it all. This shirt has a nice soft feel to it, but it is somewhat snug in the collar area.

I have happily worn the white tee shirts as an undershirt daily for several years. The material is soft, durable and comfortable. There is very little, if any, shrinkage after dozens of washings. My only criticism of the shirt is that the collar crimps, even after the first wash, and does not lay flat. I am retired so that is not a big deal, but if it is important to you, be aware.

The tees I bought are very comfortable, fit true to size and don't shrink after multiple washes. The only negative I have is that the neck band wrinkles after washing. Is this to be expected?

I've had a few of these shirts over the years. They fit well, hold up well, and are made well.
I've always bought the dark green, which in the past is what I'd probably call olive. The shade has changed, though; it's hard to see on the screen, but in person it's a considerably brighter green than it's been in the past. Not a deal-killer, but I liked the older, more subdued shade better.

This Tee has a great fit, great feel, and a pocket! My husband has a full collection of these Tees in many colors. However, as it turns out, the faint grey writing on the white tee says "Do Not Bleach". This explains why this white tee shirt turned yellow when it was washed with the other whites (socks, underwear, towels), which all get bleached for sanitary reasons. Too be clear, I only use 2/3 cup regular bleach in a large capacity top loader, so I am not using excessive bleach. So, heads up when sorting laundry, if you are washing whites and have a white LLBean Tee.

These are the best T-Shirts I've found in a long time. Comfortable, don't shrink,
sized to fit correctly and well made. These shirts are the closest I've found to the original Hang Ten surfing T's of 50 years ago. I wish there were more color choices.

Quality t-shirts with a nice smooth feel. They really do not shrink, Not the best fit for me, though. I prefer the slightly fitted Lakewashed version. I vote for a slightly fitted version of these.

My husband gets these all the time and likes them. The problem we both have with t-shirts from LLBean and others is that they quickly develop pin holes in the front waist area--a stress area that rubs against zipper, belt, etc. But we never used to have this problem. any ideas why?
