I ordered a size medium... which is what I wear. The coat itself seemed nice but there was not enough room for a puffy or fleece underneath.

This jacket is comfortable, the fit is relaxed, and holds up well in the rain however the bottom of the jacket has no stretch at all which makes it tight around the hips. I likely wouldn't buy this product again for that reason as the zipper pulled apart once or twice from the bottom when walking around.

Love little lite jacket! Very light top layer wind breaker. Basic and simple. nice color. Zipper seems a bit janky? Splits open from the bottom when zipped? Hoping it's a fluke...and after it breaks in it won't do this? Bean is good about returns so I'm not too worried.

I like the design, especially the full zip, but it doesn't hang as I expect LL Bean outwear to fit. There is a more constricted point in the body that feels tight in comparison to the rest of the garment. It's as if some pieces intended for a smaller size were mistakenly sewn in.

Size is off--not really like other men's small. Full-length, one-way zipper only works for a tall person, otherwise too tight around the hips

Not sure why you would make a jacket fitted. It does work, but it makes it difficult to wear anything but a thin shirt under it. I would recommend a size larger than you normally buy

the jacket itself is great but, i ordered large & it is tighter than it should be. i normally buy/wear mediums but i wanted to wear one or two sweaters or sweatshirts under it so i got large. it's more like a medium than large so I'm disappointed.

I have purchased many clothing items from LL Bean over the last three decades. With every purchase the items fit perfectly. The Mountain Classic jacket (XL Tall) I recently purchased is a snug fit. I will still wear it but it is not what I have been accustomed to. Also, I would recommend future upgrades include a zippered chest pocket for a phone and add zippers to the two side pockets. Since the jacket is worn usually while doing outside activity such as hiking secured pockets is a plus.

The quality is there but considering LL Bean XXL shirts fit loosely I expected a little more room in this jacket. Outerwear should fit over clothing comfortably and this jacket did not come close.
I would recommend with the caveat expect this item to run small. To say it is "slightly fitted" is an understatement.

Sizing too small. Had to pay return shipping due to improper sizing.

I have a quarter-zip Anorak that I love, so I ordered this full-zip Anorak in the same size as the other....FAIL!
This one is actually 2 inches narrower in the body (LLBean Customer Service explained this to me when I called about it).
Same size....but NOT the same size....
WHY do I still bother with this company???.

This looked like a very nice jacket to have for spring and fall. I ordered an XL because I like my jackets loose. I wasn't able to zip this one up at all. An XL "slightly fitted" became a medium "fitted". I'm disappointed in LLBean's choice of supplier. I will either return it or give it to my son.

Size is good. Hood, as others wrote, is too large without a cap. Ad says kangaroo pocket and zippered inner pocket. Unless the kangaroo pocket is the two hand pockets there is none. Nor is there a zippered inner pocket. I'll be calling in the morning about a free return as I don't think I should pay to return an incorrectly advertised product! I'll let you know.

The jacket looks great but the large size fits too tight on the torso for my taste. If a person has any belly at all and/or wears a sweatshirt as the second layer, it will feel confining. Rather than return it, I gave it to my grand daughter. This is the second product from LLBean that I have purchased that fits small. It too is a jacket, but for a female, and the sleeves are short. A note to LLBean; America is over weight! Allow for it!

I bought this "light" jacket for the Chicago spring, which this year had been really cold and rainy. The issue with the jacket is that it has just one zipper, so whenever you are going to get into a car or out of it, you have to roll the bottom in order to be comfortable. Otherwise it will restrict your legs movement.

Jacket is well made and it fits the torso pretty well. Having said that, the shoulders and sleeves are to tight for someone with an athletic build. Felt like I needed one size larger. Unfortunately, a larger size is not offered.

I really like this jacket, the weight is perfect, the fabric is comfortable and I really like the color - green. My first choice - blue, was not available. The only issue I have are with the pockets. They are poorly designed. Any items in the pocket will slip out when you stand from a seated position. I have left behind my cell phone, eyeglass case and keys. The zippered interior pocket on the right side seems like an afterthought and is not very practical or roomy enough for the items I listed above. Some form of lining may provide enough friction to keep items secure. If you were to add a zipper to the exterior pockets, I would also add a flap, to conceal them.

This jacket is such a disappointment from fabric to fit to zipper. The cut is awkward--roomy under the arms, but not across the chest. The jacket is far to narrow in the hips so wearing a layer underneath is not possible. The Zipper is metal and difficult to zip up. Why not a nice YKK nylon zipper? The fabric is very soft and reminds me of a tablecloth. The jacket is unlikely to last very long and certainly can't withstand rugged conditions. I would return this, but nothing else in the lineup seems better quality wise. Too bad, because I've counted on LL Bean quality for decades.

I like the material and features of this jacket. It's light and versatile and can withstand light rain without being an actual raincoat (which I wasn't looking for). However, we've had a rainy spring and I've worn the hood a lot. The hood is simply too big. It extends to the bridge of my nose and literally blinds me. I have to hold it with one hand to prevent it from covering my eyes. Going back.

Too lightweight to help when it's cool, not tight enough weave to help much when it rains. But it does look good. All show, little substance

This was a nice outside shell but not what I thought it would be. More like a rain jacket than a jacket with any warmth. It ran a bit small so I returned it for a refund.

This makes twice that I wasted my time. You really need to get your size right. Tight in the chest and shoulder and loose in the belly, just like my down jacket.

Seems like it could've been a decent coat. Nice looking design and pretty lightweight. Drawback would be that I bought a small and it fits like a medium, so it was a waste. Could stash a couple handfuls of treats next to the tricks under these baggy sleeves.
I'd happily re-order and size down but apparently they don't design coats for an average-height, slim/fit male.

There is nothing in the description to tell just how light weight this item is and, for the price, I would have expected much better quality.
