I purchased for a son. I like the style, but was looking for a more substantial windbreaker. This is very lightweight fabric. It also runs small. This style out of canvas but yet unlined would be a hit. So many men's jacket run shorter. Do wish they made the style in heavier canvas. I will return.

From the picture and name of the item I was expecting a jacket more suited for cool Fall and Spring days. This jacket is more of a rain jacket and should be advertised as such.

It runs small, I doubt I can wear it. Most brands in 2x fit fine, but not this one.

The hood size is entirely too big when tightened covers your eyes

First, I did not keep this jacket. It was returned because of the size. It was way too small. I was so disappointed. I have been very excited to find that LL Bean carried shirts in 3XL, and they fit me so perfectly! I bought 7 or 8 shirts because I love the comfort and the size. I am a 3XL guy, not super huge, but a big man. This jacket's body size was not even close to what the shirts are and so I was very disappointed when I could not even zip it up. It was like a toy by comparison. LL Bean needs to look at their shirts and realize that a man who orders these shirts expects a jacket to have the same body shape, 3XL, as the shirts and expects it to fit. As I said, I returned the jacket and will look elsewhere for something big enough for me to wear.

Bought this to give as a gift for Christmas expecting it to be a thicker material. It's so thin I can see through it. There's no way this is keeping anyone dry or warm. Returning.

This is the weight of jacket I wanted but fit was way too small. I checked to make sure you had not sent a women's size. I have many size XL tall and XXL tall shirts, tees and sweats from LLBean, but this XXL tall jacket was very tight through chest and sleeves.

I was looking forward to this jacket. The material and design are what I've been looking for. I'm a big guy, and wear 2XL shirts and jackets. With Bean this hasn't been a problem. I have about a dozen Bean shirts, dress, casual and flannel. All 2XL, all have plenty of room! This jacket fits like a XL. It's tight across my chest and my back. Hard to move my arms. Either this was mislabeled at the factory, or this jacket runs way too small!

This jacket is small. There is not enough ease to fit over any clothes. It measures only 2". I am at the top of the xl range and it would be a tight fit over a flannel shirt never mind any kind of a layer. I would buy an xxl but the sleeves would be down to my knees. I note other people have the same problem with jackets in this line and size xl. There is a high percentage of reviews for the product being too small. There is a problem.

This jacket is ultra thin, light weight and i'm little disappointed....have only one small closed pocket. I think it's not worth this money. I like only green color and true size (Medium)

This jacket doesn't fit or isn't cut right. It is very narrow in the shoulders, small at the bottom, and balloons in the middle. Bean's size medium, slightly fitted usually fits me fairly well, but not this time. My advice is to look for a different jacketthis one is simply shaped wrong.

I hate having to give this a bad review. It is attractive, smartly designed, and the fabric looks and feels great. It's made with high quality. Unfortunately, the fit is way too small. Tight and sleeves too short. I should add that I have several Bean jackets and coats and in cool season not a day goes by that I am not wearing one of them. So I have a pretty good idea of how they should fit. If they fix the fit problem with this, I would try again on it. It is very nice.
