I wanted a light weight vest that would still keep me warm without being bulky and this one does the job.

The first one ordered was to short, I returned it and ordered one 2 inches longer. When that one arrived I tried it on and that one was with the correct length that I needed. I liked the style, comfort, constructiont and colors. I have received very good compliments upon going to events. I am very happy with the vest.

Vest is everything as advertised. Is typical LL Bean qyuality

Fits well, wears well, looks great!

My dad asked me to help him buy a new sleeveless vest. I looked at several and this is what he was looking for in a mid weight vest. We ordered a M and it is true to size, slightly form fitted. He liked this light grey color very much; the color online was true to the real color in person. Warm but sleeveless. Perfect for indoor wintertime. Nicely made. He is very pleased. I am too.

I got the green and the blue with red, they are both beautiful, fit well, I only use a light T-shirt under them so the Medium was just right. Heavier shirt would req a Large. I like it a little snug. Very well made, nice and soft material, good quality. A little fabric softener at the wash will make it feel even softer, better.

Bought it for my husband for Christmas in teal. Got it in navy and red for his birthday.

This vest was a Christmas gift for Mister hard to please.. Whew..he loves it. Nice fit, it is longer so nice. Great material , nice trim around the arm hole.

Good value. Would appreciate a draw string at base of garment to help with better waist/hip fit.

Multiple BIG pockets,great for fone,hankies,gloves.....just about anything you would want to carry! 3 outside pockets have zippers so-things do not fall out of them. 2 inside pockets could carry a tablet if you wanted! Main front zipper has wind flap and zips right up over your neck if you wanted and tuck your chin in. Initial quality seems superb. Ribbed rugged outside with inside having a soft light fleece lining. I'm hard to please and this vest pleases me! Perfect for wear with flannel shirt on cool mornings at the cabin. Chose green w/plum piping

This was my boyfriend's favorite Christmas gift that I gave him. He has barely taken it off! I originally purchased an XL since he's on the taller side but thought it looked way too wide so I took it back and got a large. Thankfully the large fits perfectly!

Gifted to my husband for Christmas and he is delighted. The Clay Heather won't show the golden retriever fur as much as the couple dark fleece vests that he has - those fleece vests are now designated "shop" wear. The sweater fleece is warmer too. He probably could fit the XL but he likes the room to have a couple layers underneath. Waiting for the next sale to get the Grey Heather!

I bought this for my husband for Christmas and he really liked it. It's a little stiff but I think washing it once or twice will probably take care of that. I think it might be nice if it was a little longer in the back for more coverage.

This men's knitted sweater vest in a small size fits me perfectly. As with all LL Bean products, this vest is high quality and looks great. I ordered it in 'clay heather' and am really enjoying it, plus I received compliments almost immediately--a nice plus. I enjoy wearing vests on mildly cold days when I walk my dog or do other outdoor activities, and this is a perfect addition to my other two vests. In particular, I like that the pockets have zippers, so I can keep my keys, phone, dog treats, etc. intact without fear of losing them.

I bought this vest to wear when I want a little warmth without the bulk of a sweater or jacket. Here in Central California the vest, alone or under a windbreaker or rain jacket, is all I usually need in the winter. I bought it in XL which proved to be a good fit. It's a snug fit over my chest without being tight. The bottom of the vest covers my waist while still allowing me to easily get my hands in my pants pockets. A feature I appreciate on the vest are the large inside pouch pockets. These are convenient for gloves, a scarf, a hat or many other things. The zippered chest pocket is large enough for glasses and a phone. I especially like the large side pockets. They're deep enough to put my hands in well past my wrists and are soft and warm on cold days. I would prefer traditional fleece on the outside, but the knit fabric is fine. The front logo is sewn on, so is easily removed for a cleaner look.

This is the second fleece vest we have purchased over the years. Launders great and looks amazing. Great style and fit !

Bought this to wear around the office as the temperature is different between departments. Fits perfect, true to size, and just the right amount of warmth. Perfect material and look for the office casual look. I have washed this a few times as well and still looks just like new.

I bought a second color just days after this one arrived. Warm, light weight and good looking. Another excellent garment from LL Bean!

I bought this for my 90-year-old father because he is always cold. He wears it around the house and it keeps him toasty. He loves the fit and the pockets. So glad I bought this vest for him.

My husband received this vest as gift. He really likes the chest pocket for his phone and the dark gray color. I was about to buy another for him, however he prefers darker colors with same color trim so no luck at this time. Hope LLBean considers some darker color options.

Been wanting one of these for some time. Finally picked on up at the Freeport store and have loved wearing it. Incredibly comfortable, get compliments on it all the time. I'm probably on the upper limit size wise for an XL and as a result it fits trim when worn over a flannel. But it is not too tight.
