I have several of these vest that I wear with short sleeve shirts since I am not a fan of long sleeve shirts. These vest are very comfortable and surprisingly warm. They look great and layer well with Bean shirts and jackets. I also love the chest pocket to store my phone in.

I purchased this for my Dad as a gift. He was very impressed with the construction and fit. He liked that it looked like a sweater vest, and loved the color. It washed up well. It goes well with his LL Bean Flannel shirts too. My dad and I can count on LL Bean to have well made and long lasting clothing. Thank you.

This vest is perfect on its own or paired with a fall jacket for a bit of extra warmth without the bulk in the arms. Can't wait for the temperature to drop so I can start wearing my vest.

I absolutely love my sweater fleece vest! It fit perfect, Love the feel of it and style. I had wanted a vest to wear when it's chilly, but not cold. My arms and legs don't get cold unless the temp really goes down, so this is perfect for fall days or evenings when it's a little chilly. Great quality!

This is a very warm vest. Interior is a soft fleece; the exterior is a smooth, fine weave. I chose the bluish gray vest. I'm very pleased with the overall appearance. There were no loose threads or other imperfections, indicating that the craftsmanship is very good. I particularly like the phone zippered pocket at the upper left of the chest. I have a large iPhone. You cannot slip it in sideways. You insert one end of the phone and turn as you insert. The phone drops down but will not fall out because the inner pocket is larger than the zippered opening with a little room at both top and bottom of the pocket. This is the first time that I have found this in various jackets and coats that I have.

Finally! A fleece vest that doesn't saw into my neck when I zip it up. Nice material & construction. Very comfortable. A new favorite.

While slightly larger than large, it is perfect for layering over sweaters. It is nicely designed and made. It is not fancy, but a solid value. I am glad I bought it.

This vest is just about perfect with all of the features I desire in a vest except a bottom draw cord. It has the most important features that I value - 2 outside zippered lower pockets, a zippered chest pocket and 2 inside open pockets (which weren't listed in the on-line description). The material is also excellent - warm and stylish.

I bought this for my husband's birthday. He was very pleased with it. He likes to wear fleece vests & wears them a lot. The quality of material is very nice. He likes the pockets. It looks very nice on him. We are very pleased with it.

After wearing the polar fleece version for years, my husband was pleasantly surprised to find the sweater fleece material was soft and comfortable. He really likes the chest pocket for his cell phone. Please keep making this style with the pocket! It's the best feature.

Bought the med grey, which is more of a pewter gray, and it is very nice. Goes well with jeans as well as black jeans and it light enough to be worn 3 seasons. Perfect weight for those in-between dayscool/warm, but not quite eitherdays Already had the blue one and decided about the grey. For next season, a nice olive color will be great

love the chest pocket (for my wallet). i may have bought a size larger but i was playing it safe. nonetheless, it's comfortable for me and not overly large. highly recommended. keeps me warm enough for temps needed, and comfy.

I'm very impressed by this vest. I've never considered vests until my wife (a vest devotee) bought this for me. It fits true to size, and is VERY warm. I tend to me "warm-blooded," so this vest is more than enough. Nice styling and colors. I highly recommend this.
