This is a great purchase. It fits true to size, is water repellent, and excellent for fall/spring weekends.

This is the BEST jacket ever! Everytime I wear it people comment in the positive. It kept me dry in heavy rain just lately and sometimes I wish it would rain so I could it wear it more. Seriously.

I had ordered the large initially and even with some extra 10-20 pounds on me it seemed to much of a large bag type fit. The medium was better and I think at 6 feet even and 155 to 185 a good size. Simple construction but I feel a very good quality product. As well, a good looking anorak.

This is now the 6th (!!!) Anorak pullover I have purchased in less than a year. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this product. The spacious dual pockets, layer and stow-ability makes the Anorak the most versatile and best looking jacket I've ever owned. I began wearing it so regularly that I knew I had to get a few more so I could get away with wearing one everyday...'cause ya know, fashion. It's rare that I don't get compliments on it when wearing it out and about, regardless of if I'm hiking, biking to work, or at the bar. Just add it to your cart and checkout already, you won't regret it!

Like it a lot, I bought Black, Xlarge to fit it over fleece pullovers, but maybe down the road I will buy the lined version as well (I have one of the lined color blocked versions from the mid 90's). I also have a Navy, Large that I bought a few years ago when they were first reintroduced, wish I had gotten it in XL, which is why I bought a second one. I agree with wishing the material was a little heavier, but that is a result of being the generation when jackets were just naturally heavier, and had more of a substantial feel.

I am writing this review in Ireland after wearing this anorak for our trip the past week or so. It has held up to whatever the Irish weather has thrown at us. I've worn a travel shirt underneath it and I have been warm and dry. It's easy to pack and dries quickly. I am very glad I made this purchase!

My wife discovered she loved these a few years ago...she LIVES in one of these for a good amount of the year. She has many colors, both solid and color block versions. She bought me one for Christmas 2018...they didn't have xxl tall, but this one is still good for me. I first wore it fly fiahing and was so pleased with the zip kangaroo pocket. Perfect spot for a cell phone to record catches. I wear hip waders, chest waders have their own pocket. But I went away really pleased with the jacket - in the light mist, freezing drizzling rain mix...it was great over the fleece and base layer I had on. The hood was very nice to have too. In the past few months we have moved to full blown summer here in the south. It's been great from the 20's with layers all the way to now when it's still great for a cool morning over a t shirt. I keep mine on a hook by the garage door...and I have to admit I grab it more times than any hoody or jacket I used to grab. I've taken it on trips and it lacks well and wears well after being packed. I got all black so maybe that helps, it looks good even after a roll up and long trip. I thank my wife for ignoring my protests on her getting me one of these. I actually really like it. The fabric is just right to me. Its water resistant, wind resistant. Not proof, just resistant. This allows the fabric to breathe. A person could use a spray waterproofing if desired - to to your local camping store in the tent section. As for me, I really like the way it breathes and don't want to change that.

the sleeves are just a tad long but not enough to be troublesome... rather that then too short.

I have a few nice fleece pullovers but hey are absolutely useless when it's windy, you put on this Anorak and you will be in business ! Its great for walking the dogs, poop bags and wallet in the zip pocket and car keys in the kangaroo pocket below, its a bit big not not too baggy. It has held up in light rain.

This is a great light weight jacket. I like wearing it like a light weight sweatshirt but it is great when it is damp or rainy out. If you are going to layer it with thicker clothing under you probably want to order a size larger than you might if wearing with just a t-shirt. I like the pockets and being able to pack it in itself.

I bought the anorak for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it! He wears it all the time and loves how comfortable it is and how warm it keeps him. I bought it a little big that way he could wear things underneath.

From the description, I wasn't sure what I was getting: was it going to be too plasticky or more fabricky. it was the latter and I am very glad it is like it. It fits nice, it's for mild cold days. Just my type of daily wear garment. I like the design: big front "1/4", mmh more like 1/2 way zipper. easy to put on and take off. the front zippered-pouch is great to carry the necessities that otherwise make a big bulk in your pants. Well done LL B

I've warn this in the rain and the rain did not win. I am a professional photographer shooting mostly sports. This jacket goes with me all over the country regardless of if it's going to rain. It's a great light jacket. The front zipper Goes pretty low which I really like, big front pocket to keep my shot list/credentials and a nice hood. Stay dry but look good staying dry.
