Being from the west coast I always knew of LL Bean but never really had any need to purchase their clothing as we had numerous outdoor clothing manufacturers in our area. I was recently looking for an another Anorak for the summer and decided to give LL Bean a shot. Lets just say i have not been disappointed. My wife recieved one for Christmas from our daughter and absolutely loved it, as do I since purchasing mine. Great quality and style for an amazing price. We are currently rv'ing up the east coast and will be making a stop at the Company store to buy a few more things.

My favorite jacket! A must have and a perfect gift!!

Great product so far and way more water resistant then I thought it would be. Road my bike in the rain for 6 miles yesterday and was completely dry underneath.

It is lightweight and a good windbreaker. I especially like the zipped kangaroo pocket that prevents loss of valuables

Great wind layer for hiking and pretty good in a light rain. Love the front pocket for my cell phone and stuff. I hope to enjoy this for many years. Quality materials and construction.

This feels thin, but we'll made. It's true it won't keep you warm. It does block wind well and perfect for the spring weather right now. I got a large even though I usually get xl for room. Fits perfect and has room for a sweatshirt underneath. Wish the arm lengths were a bit longer.

Durable and will last forever. Machine washable. Just remove the two tassels before you wash and dry.

Lightweight but incredibly durable! Water and wind resistant. This is going to go everywhere with me! Can be packed away very small. There's no excuse not to have it with me!

I bought this for an upcoming trip to LA and was pretty blown away by the quality when received today. I actually like it so much that I wore it out in public - hard creases and all from shipping! Material is a little heavier than expected. I anticipated more windbreaker material, but it's a touch thicker and more durable - think light chino pants material. Kangaroo pocket is perfect and the deep zip helps with getting on and off. It fits pretty true in regards to normal hoodies, but a touch smaller on the LL Bean scale. For reference, I have an LL Bean warmup jacket and in large I'm absolutely SWIMMING in it, but this in a large is a bit slimmer. Overall, I love the material and the color (orange) and happy that I chose this over my previous option (Van's coaches jacket). I'm excited to bring this along for some hikes and vacations!

Decent fit, comfortable, functional. I love the color, but some friends suggest it makes me look like a tall carrot.
