This is my second . First one in the olive green shade now blue. Its the most comfortable jacket ever! Lightweight, not bulky and it accommodates a fleece or light sweater underneath.i don't usually write reviews but this jacket is the best. by the way, my daughter has one also!

The jacket is great but I wish the collar were corduroy next to my neck and quilt in the back. That way when it is cold, the collar would be warmer. I have other jackets that have the corduroy on top and I really enjoy that feature. Otherwise, it is my Go To jacket and I really like it.

The perfect, classic field jacket. Light weight and roomy enough to put layers under for extra warmth if needed, while still keeping a flattering silhouette.

I was looking for a lightweight coat to wear for spring and fall and ordered this. The lining inside is nylon, so it is warm yet lightweight. I love that it covers my rear and can be casual or dressy. It is very attractive with some shaping in the back at the waist. I ordered the PXL which is my usual size and it fits well with medium layers underneath.

It is way overpriced like most of L.L.Bean products are but I love the jacket itself. Perfect weight to grab on a windy spring day. It is very comfortable.

I love this jacket and plan to add more colors. It fits true to size and is warmer than I expected. I have been wearing it the past few weeks in temperatures in the 40's and 50's and it keeps me warm. My only complaint is the zipper as several others have also mentioned.

I was looking for a jacket for warmer days in the Spring to wear in Alaska on a cruise. After discussing my sizing issues with a customer service rep, who was excellent by the way, I decided to keep the petite small. I also ordered the petite extra small that would have worked except I needed a looser fit to layer underneath. This jacket is well designed, I love the silky feel of the lining and having the choice of snaps and/or two way zipper. I do not find the zipper difficult to work as some reviewers have. I only wish the sleeves were designed with a plain hem so I could turn up the sleeves and show off the beautiful lining. The sleeves are a bit long on me. The adjustable buttons at the waist will help when I need to wear without layering. I love that the snaps and zipper are not bright and cheap looking. Overall, an excellent purchase!

I really like this jacket, Im an equestrian so I have many riding jackets and love the look but I wanted something a little less equestrian for daily use.

Really love this jacket. Just ba little problem with the zipper. It's hard to zip up because it goes both ways and it's hard to get it connected.

I ordered this jacket for spring/fall weather (anything above 32 degrees). I love the slightly fitted style, the light weight of the fabric and it is warm. The lining plaid is a nice surprise. I am 4' 11" and 117 lbs. It fits me perfectly. I got a Petite Small. I would definitely recommend this (and already have!).

This jacket is wonderful! The quality of fabric and lining, soft but rather substantial. I love the zipper with the snaps. The corduroy collar gives it style and structure. The length is just perfect as a car coat.

This spring and early fall jacket is beautiful. Just the right weight and looks so good on. The snaps on the back to pull in or take out at the waist area help for a thicker sweater/sweatshirt. I am 5'1" 116 lbs small frame, bought PS and it fits great.

Very happy with my purchase. Wanted something that would pass as a dressier option, while durable enough to go out on a walk or travel with. Longer sleeves but actually worked perfectly to cuff and show off the lining pattern. I normally layer with a pullover or sweater underneath while it's still winter, but will be perfect weight for spring/fall transitions on its own. Added bonus are the deep pockets that definitely have no risk of any phone/keys/etc falling out.
