This is a very classy jacket, but also more expensive than I wanted to pay. I had to order three different sizes before I got one that fit the way I wanted it to, but I have free shipping (LLBean Mastercard.) I love the collar, the snap/zip closing, and the way it (finally) fits. It's not a winter coat, but will work for coolish days. It does break the wind, and provides a little insulation. And the lining helps it slide on easily over a sweater. I've wanted it for two years, and finally got it using my Bean Bucks.

This is an excellent everyday jacket for days when a down coat is not needed, and it has a rather European style. It is not too boxy and has snaps at the sides in the back to adjust the snugness of the waist. With both a zipper and snaps it is easy to adjust the closure according to need. If I could change anything, it would be the plaid lining which is not in my preferred colors. I'd request a solid black interior if I could; but, for those who like the Fall-toned plaid, it does lend a very nice accent. Petite jackets are harder to find, so I give LL Bean high marks for making most everything they offer in Petite sizes.

I was tired of all those big puffy coats. I just wanted a warm winter coat that was a comfortable coat when out and about and driving. This it is for sure!

I purchased this jacket in the Cayenne in a regular size small. The fit is the same as my other LL Bean riding jacket which I purchased several years ago. The color is just what I envisioned: not too orange or not pulling too much red. It is a lightweight jacket, but with Georgia weather, it is perfect. I had no problems with the zipper. I will keep coming back for this classic jacket.

This jacket is amazing; in quality, comfort and style. It's the perfect weight; not too heavy and offers the perfect balance of warmth without any of the bulkiness I hate with winter outerwear. The style is perfectly classic and won't be outdated next year.

Great color. I have a similar jacket that I bought from this site, it was time for another one so I had to buy it again. This time I ordered the orange color. It's perfect!! This jacket is true to size.

Great fit, good for city and country, can even add a layer underneath for warmth, true to size, I have been wearing it every day here in Northern California.

This is the perfect fall jacket- not too heavy and not too light. Never thought I'd love this color on me, but it's really beautiful. The lining is a beautiful plaid with coordinating colors. It's a 10/10!

I usually order petite Medium size but this Time ordered regular. The fit is roomy enough to layer with sweater comfortably. Sleeves are somewhat long but not Bothersome. Love this jacket and fit !

Wanted this last year but didn't get it because I was concerned about zipper reviews. Bought it recently, love the fit and I have tried the zipper and it's fine. Either they redid the zipper or this one's just a winner. I am 5'1, busty, and 158lbs. The sleeves are a tad long but I rolled them and the pretty plaid lining shows. I got the blue it's pretty, and will order a second in another color . I wish I still had my horse! It would be great to actually ride in as well as just wear.

Great fit - tailored and sharp - bought it in Gold with the navy plaid lining for fall. Has nice adjustable tabs if you want it more fitted

You nailed it, LLBean! The under-the-bum length, style, quality, and olive green color are perfect! I appreciate it when jackets are not bulky but keep you warm and allow ample room for a sweater underneath. Looking forward to wearing it during a fall trip to Alaska.

This jacket is lovely! It really dresses up an outfit. The fit is perfect for me in my usual size of PM. I love the contrasting plaid lining. The snaps on the sleeve make it easy to turn back the cuff to shorten the sleeve a little and show off the lining.
