My favorite LL Bean clothing item ever. I had one of these 25 years ago and wore it all the time. It is still in perfect condition. I was thrilled when they came back out with these again and in different colors. This is great for errands, an extra hiking layer, running in winter, skiing, taking to camp. The pocket make sit possible to bring gloves, tissues, keys, a snack, and not need a purse. Keep making these, LL Bean.

I purchased this jacket for a trip to Alaska, where the weather was going to be in the 40's and rainy. I needed something that would be water resistant as well as warm, but not too heavy. This was perfect! Kept me warm and dry and I received many compliments during my travels!

This did not disappoint! I wore this on an e-bike tour of Victoria, BC in a torrential down pour and it kept me warm and dry.

I purchase this for my trip to Scotland to visit family. The Petite-Lg was perfect giving room to layer up with a sweater if needed. The large front pocket was marvelous for collecting sea glass while walking along the beach or for carrying my change-purse or passport when in town. Quality is good, felt cosy warm for maritime windy weather. Can't say how it did with rain as, OMG! we didn't get any while in Scotland!!! Its colorful and fun to wear. I'm even thinking of buying another multi colored one as this is the type of clothing I could live in.

I bought this jacket for camping and hiking in Banff end of August through early September. It was perfect: lightweight, easy to pack, warm, and water resistant. I sized up to a medium to layer a sweatshirt underneath. This jacket was warm and wind resistant without being bulky. We hiked in snow, rain, 40 etc with no issues. I do wish it came in a full zip also; this one is a little hard to get on and off quickly.

Once again a jacket from LLBean that is beautiful, well made and is of excellent quality. I can always depend on LLBean to come through for me. They literally dress me! Nice weight for Spring and Fall.

If you asked a relative to draw a generic picture of me, it would probably feature this jacket. Joking aside, this anorak might be the most worn item in my closet. If I unexpectedly needed to evacuate and could only take a couple of articles of clothing , this would be one. It has kept me dry in a downpour in Pittsburgh, kept me warm in the Sonoran Desert after dark, and kept the wind off me while fishing in Montana. It's great for temperatures from about 65 if you wear it with a tank top underneath to about 30 with a fleece quarter zip underneath. The zip top pocket is great for stuff you don't want escaping, and the open pocket is nice for things you need easy access to, like dog poop bags. It washes up super nicely if you turn it inside out and tie the hood ties. Also, it is the perfect size for a travel pillow when packed in its own pocket, and I have used it for that purpose on a couple of occasions. Honestly, I have put this jacket through the ringer and it hasn't failed me yet. A note on size: I am about 5 ft 9 and wear a 34G bra. I typically buy a medium tall in jackets so that the sleeves are long enough and it isn't too tight through the chest. The medium in this model was huge on me, so I bought a regular small instead

I purchased the insulated anorak. I wear this ALOT. It's very warm without adding bulk. I will wear a shaper or light shirt under and go out for hours without getting cold. Looks great with jeans or leggings. Will definitely purchase a couple more.

I've been eying this anorak for a long time and finally got it, insulated and on sale. Very happy with my purchase and have received many compliments. It's great for Spring and Fall, also plan to wear it when I ride my bike.

Made very well and color combinations look even better in person. I do wish it had side zips for easier putting on and taking off

Surprisingly warm for how lightweight it is, easy to take on/off and layer with sweaters. I got it a size bigger than I truly need and I like all the room and range of motion. I also like how long it is, I'm post-partum, so I've got some lower belly fupa that it covers nicely. Really comfortable and it's sort of retro-looking and cool. I got compliments right away on the design/colors. Super happy with this, it was my go-to this winter. I also own a really cute big parka but I hardly wore it because it's so heavy and this was way easier to wear and just as warm if I put on layers. Love it.

Love this Jacket! It's heavier than a wind breaker, yet not as heavy as what I needed for really cold temperatures. I wear this all the time when temperatures are below 40, but above 20.

Love this jacket (anorak). It is comfortable and warm with the lining. Love the fit and functionality and the way it looks. Great quality, too. I've received compliments from strangers on its look. Love it so much I bought the unlined jacket.

This jacket is perfect for cool weather adventures. The quality of the fabric is excellent. I sized up to layer comfortably and I am happy with the fit.

I own a few regular LL Bean anoraks and adore them. I wanted a bit more warmth for the winter, so I decided to order the insulated version, knowing the quality and durability would be well worth the price. It is! I sized up so I could wear plenty of layers underneath and it's been wonderful. The colors are beautiful and I always receive compliments when I wear my anoraks.

Great insulated jacket. Love it for walks around neighbor, errands, et al. It has kangaroo pockets that are great as well zipper pouch. I have not used it much for trail hiking as have other jackets that seem more suited to this activity.
