Love the pockets! Great for walking the dog (baggies, treats, gloves, headphones) Nice and warm, too.

I purchased for a trip to Portugal (60s, raining) and we have found ourselves accidentally in Boston (32, windy) for a day without any cold weather gear. The coat was perfect with a bulky cotton sweater under it. It blocked the wind and the hood kept my head warm. When we stepped inside for coffee or museums though, I didn't overheat. The pocket space is endless and I easily carried a large Gatorade bottle and my phone in the pouch without any bother (not to mention train tickets, a pacifier, and some cookies). Boxy comfortable fit without being bulky under my toddler's backpack carrier. Big winner.

Great coat, keeps me warm while walking the dogs even on a chilly 35 degree day.

I previously purchased two of the non-insulated Anoraks and love them, so I finally took the plunge and bought the gunmetal gray/burgundy. I've had it for a a couple of weeks now and absolutely love it. It is obviously a bit heavier than the non-insulated, but that is not a negative. It is still light and roomy on the inside with the insulation. As before, I ordered the Petite XS. I am 100 pounds at 5'2" and the fit is on the mark. Some may think it's boxy, but I think it is perfect, especially if you are layering to go on a hike or just be out in the cold. The great thing is if it gets too hot, just pull it off and pack it up. After reading a couple of negative reviews, I was worried about prior complaints of insulation pill. My own belief is that over-washing a product can be the downfall of certain types of fabrics. Not sure what happened in their instances, but a jacket like this is made to fit OVER clothes and does not touch much skin. I would recommend wearing several times and avoid over-washing. I'm sure some will cringe at that comment, but just use a little common sense.

This is the perfect jacket for fall. It is padded so it is warm enough for rainy cool early morning walks with the dog or errands that I need to run. It has all sorts of pockets and pouches to stash what ever I need to bring along. I knew this was going to be my fall go to jacket.

I bought this jacket with a full zipper frount 2 yrs. ago. I love it so much I couldn't wait for colder weather so I also bought the same jacket with no insulation! Love the colors and ease of wear!

My absolute favorite outside garment - and also the 2nd time I've bought this exact same product - but 2 sizes smaller due to weight loss - gave the other to a very grateful friend! I love the fact that it has a little bit of insulation - makes it feel comfier and still lightweight. Oh - wonderful pocket design and also everything else. Good on you, LLBean.

Pretty colors and really like the deep pockets! The 1x is a tad roomy but I love it. I wish I could get it in a version with a full zipper.

Because of the boxy style, this jacket ran big on me. Every coat, sweatshirt, rain jacket I own is a petite x-large but in this jacket the sleeves were long and the boxy cut huge on me. Luckily the company rocks on exchanges and I got a large in exchange and it fits fine, though still roomy. Colors are awesome, love the pockets, and the weight is perfect for fall.

This is my second LLBeam Anorak. The first I purchased in 2000 and still wore it this past winter. It's been a fantastic warm lightweight jacket. So glad to see it back at LLBeam.

My husband purchased one of the Anorak Multi Color jackets for each of us. We are heading to Maine in October and plan to get lots of use out of them as we pull on our (also recently purchased) L.L. Bean boots! We can always depend on great quality when purchasing this brand.

True to size. Just loose enough to be stylish and able to layer without overwhelming. Wore it throughout a wet and drizzly trip to Wales and stayed warm, dry, and comfortable.
