This jacket is warm and very stylish. The only issue I had is that the neck is loose and drafty. I wear a gator with it, and that solves the issue. A scarf would work too.

This isn't the warmest possible jacket, it's a bit short and the hoodie is open wide around the neck. But it's very cute and roomy enough for layers underneath. Very happy with my purchase.

Love the style, love the color but the neckline left me chilly

This is a fun coat! I love the style and color. It might be a little short if you have a long torso but I don't have that problem. The bottom of the coat could use a cinch, it seems a little drafty. Overall I would recommend it.

I love the jacket, but they should have put a snap or button on the inside top of the left side of the coat. It really would have helped keep your neck warmer! I will have a tailor put one put on!

This is a warm and stylish jacket, but a few tweaks would make it much better. It has an open neck, which means you need a scarf to cover up. A simple button and loop or Velcro closure inside the neckline would make it much warmer. It also leaks some feathers, though not as badly as the 850 down jacket that I returned. The hood is a little awkward, and a version without the hood would make it more fashionable. But overall I like it.

The jacket was true to size and seemed very warm. The design of the hood around the neck is very bulky and uncomfortable. We returned the coat because of this. It may have broken in over time, but was not going to be tolerated by who it was bought for. A hood less version of this coat would be ideal.

I expected this jacket to be warmer, it is best suited for upper-30-40 range. It is a shorter cut jacket so cold air gets in that way and through the collar unless you adjust the hood so much that you can't use it, or I usually wear a scarf with it. The outside of the pockets are insulated but the inside closest to the body is not, that's just a pet peeve of mine because I keep my hands in my pockets a lot and the cold really gets in when I'm using them. I like the fit, color, etc. It did shed a lot at first but after the first few wears I didn't have any more problems. One thing I was impressed with was that I stayed warm while wearing it after getting wet on a rainy day. Overall it will be a great between seasons jacket but I won't choose it for days below 25.

I bought this last year and sent it back mostly because of the hood. Now I see there is a vest with the collar I would like on the jacket. The hood on the jacket is too bulky and I see it as a little dressier jacket than most of these quilted ones. I would rebuy this in a heart beat if it looked like the vest with sleeves. I've even thought about having a tailor redo the neckline on the jacket. LLBean surprise me and make the jacket without the hood.

The asymmetry is a nice concept but need to wear something with a higher neck and /or a scarf on frigid days(which is why I would wear a jacket to begin with). Would be great if it incorporated a mock neck zip up. Boxy and puffy just not very flattering for a light weight jacket.

Nice and well made but too short for me - I am 5'9". The color was darker than it appeared online but it was still nice.

Runs small, very short & I just didn't like the fit. Appreciate Bean's return policy.

Really wanted to love it but the short crop hangs open and is too wide.

This jacket runs at least one size large as others have mentioned. It's boxy and the bottom is loose/open in a way that I can't imagine preserves warmth. The hood is too short- if you put it on, the shoulders pull up. Also, there are no interior pockets. It's cute but with all these drawbacks not a good value

Loved the style of the jacket, but it didn't fit my body type (petite with a large bust). I also thought it was a little short.

This is a short jacket, almost too short. Has a great style but needs to be a couple inches longer.

I love the style of this jacket. However, I returned it because the neck is wide open. I live in Wyoming and you can't have an inch of space open on your jacket!

I loved the way this jacket looked online. I really wanted to love it in real life. unfortunately, it was too small, and worse yet, too short... perhaps offering in a tall would have been the answer... I'll never know. had to return. :(

Very nice warm jacket BUT it is too short. A jacket this warm should be longer to be most useful. I was pretty disappointed.

I like the style and the concept, but sizing is not favorable for around the chest. To tight. Large is to large for me medium was good, but not around the chest to snug.

This is a nice looking jacket, but unfortunately the design fails in keeping cold air out of the neck in both the front and back of the jacket. You need to wear a scarf with the jacket, which is unusual for a puffy coat, and not good for a cold day. Otherwise the jacket is warm. With no inner pocket, and only snaps on the two outer pockets, carrying anything of value is not advisable. Not a great value.

This is a short jacket. I loved the fit and the look, but when I reached up it would expose too much of my belly/back, so not ideal for a cold winter! FYI I'm only 5'3

This jacket has a really cool design and is relatively warm, but not for $200. It's kind of a waste for that money. It is short like in all the other reviews, which again defeats the purpose of a winter jacket. I was really excited for this to come in and it fell short of expectations unfortunately..no pun intended. But I would like to see more styles with this kind of asymmetrical zipper, it's different and cool, but not worth $200.
