I really wanted this sweatshirt. I was so disappointed. I always get a size 1X in everything. This was so tight! It seemed like it had to be a regular size M or L. Wrongly labeled. I returned it.

This sweatshirt looks like something that fell out of the rag bag. The material looked old and worn and when put on it looked very sloppy. It did not look like it was made of any new material.

I ordered this thinking it was a sweatshirt as described. It was actually french terry, and the material was very heavy. I ordered the lilac color which was very faded and looked more like grey. I'm always a size small which fit ok, but the sleeves were way too short. Needless to say, I returned it. A little disappointed in LLBean this time.

Didn't like the fabric. Way too scratchy. Definitely a disappointment.

I am 5'3" and 120 pounds. I'm not super small. I ordered the small petite and it was so baggy in the armpits. It also had so shape and very boxy. The band at the bottom seemed stretched out like someone too big had worn it before me. Maybe the XS would look better but for the price of returning, I don't think I will reorder.

I would rate this less than a 1 star. I loved it when I got it. This fit great. I loved the feel of it. I rate less than one because after two washings the color started to come off and a small hole started. I washed it again and more color was lost and the holes kept getting bigger and more of them. The sweatshirt is now used to work around the house. I washed this on gentle. I would call it a very expensive work sweatshirt. I am sorry I bought it.

This sweatshirt is not the quality for which LLBean is known. After 2 washings on cold and dryer just to fluff, it looks old and worn out. I have 2 hooded sweatshirts from LLBean that are years old and look better than this one. Zipper is poor and pockets ripple.
Definitely not worth the price!

The cotton fabric is too thin for the pricefeels more like something I'd find on the bargain table on sale for a couple of dollars. It stunk when I took it out of the packageno use buying "organic" if they doused it in pesticide in order to import it. Plus, it shrunk far too much when I washed it. Had this sweatshirt been the quality I was hoping for, I would have stocked my closet with them, and would have come back year after year to buy more.

I am a small woman who has been a loyal LL Bean customer since the 1960s.
I really want to like this firm's products, but I have been continually disappointed over the years in the erosion of product quality in what appears to be the pursuit of "throwaway" fashion items. I have been able to accommodate this troubling trend to some extent by purchasing a larger size, so that when the item shrinks in the wash it still fits me reasonably well. And also by purchasing "unshrinkable" t-shirts (which, disappointingly the company has discontinued).
At this point in time I am buying Size Large for my 5'5" 115 pound frame, as I did with this sweatshirt.
And the sweatshirt, after one wash per the instructions is now too small for me, misshapen, and the zipper sticks at the pockets.
I am so disheartened that I probably won't even bother returning the shirt, and am unlikely to purchase further women's clothing items from this company.
Sad.
Disappointed,

The hoodie was not made well and the material used was inferior (rough, uncomfortable and not insulating at all). I returned this disappointing jacket!

Not the substantial material one expects to find in a "Sweatshirt Hoodie." Also, the zipper is hard to engage and get started (caused by the fabric seam due to the design). Returned.
