I am very happy with this classic shirt. The indigo blue is an appealing medium hue. While it's not high style, and a bit stiff, it is versatile and will soften nicely with age. It is well made. I wear it over a first layer in the house now that it's spring instead of fleece. I wear it outside when I need a light weight jacket. I especially love it while working in the garden. The fit - petite medium - is perfect for me. I am 5'2"& 125 lbs. This shirt is a winner

Lovely denim shirt. Washed and dried and shunk an entire size. Now it fits great. Beware!

I had been looking for a reasonably priced denim shirt with pockets. Bingo. It's well made but it still smells slightly like mothballs after one washing.

I love this denim shirt. It is the perfect length and you can wear it with anything.

Attractive and fits, but the fabric is much thinner than I hoped.

I love the shirt but it has an odor. I washed it but it still has some odor. Hopefully, after wearing and washing again that will go away.

I had to size down but once I got the right size I love it!

Really like the feel of this shirt. The denim is a nice weight and the sleeves plenty long. A little too boxy in the body. Slightly more fitted would be nice. Regardless this comfortable shirt will get plenty of use.

Love the color, weight of fabric and look of this shirt. The only Con is the upper arms are tight. It does stretch out a bit after a few hours.

Love shirt, but does tend to run small across the shoulders. Had to get a larger size than normal.

There is not a lot of room in the arms. I had to order a size lager just to fit my arms which is very unusual.

Great color and fabric and construction; softer than I expected. It's tighter than I'd like across the shoulders but otherwise a good fit. I'm short and the sleeves fit me; wonder how they would be on a person with longer arms. So here's the one problem: it smells weird. The smell was really noticeable out of the bag; I washed it separately before wearing, and used a scented detergent. Second wash using unscented laundry detergent and now I can smell the original odor but more faintly. It's a vaguely oily/factory odor. No shrinkage with a few minutes in a warm dryer and then putting it on a hanger.

Order a size larger for shrinkage,even tho washed in cold water. The green color is pretty in person.The sturdiness of the fabric is great; using it for gardening and bird watching. But it does wrinkle quite a bit after washing in cold water and low dryer heat.

I liked the style and fit of the shirt but the denim was stiff even after I washed it. It also needed a good ironing as it had a lot of wrinkles. It may get better with washing but most denim is soft and this was not.

I like the shirt. The issue that I'm having is that the sizing sticker on the pocket has left an oval mark that won't come off. It is a dark discoloration. I washed it with stain remover and it's still there. I'm considering trying to order another one, if still available, and sending this one back. Otherwise, the shirt is fine.

I wish this had truly been like the old original classic blue Jean shirt. The original was a lot wider. It is cute, but runs a is more fitted and runs bit small.

I ordered Xlarge so I could comfortably layer underneath it. Out of the package it was perfect. After first wash and dry it shrunk one whole size.

Well made shirt. Sleeves are a bit short, otherwise Medium fit as it should.

I really enjoy the shirt but it has an offensive odor. I am assuming it will disappear with more washings. Am pleased with the length of sleeve. I have long arms.

I finally got wear this denim shirt, after washing, IRONING THE FLIP UPS and waiting for the temperatures to drop. The shirt was reasonably soft, fit well, was not too difficult to button, and was quite comfortable. I just wash and dried the shirt and once again, the dreaded Flip up pocket flaps and wrinkled bottom hem. I love wearing LLBean logo apparel if the colors are my style. But, like many others have complained, the white label at the bottom of the blue denim just doesn't cut it. It looks like something got stuck on the shirt and ones eyes are drawn to it. I will dig out my seam ripper to carefully remove it. Although I had my doubts about this denim shirt when I first received it, I am quite happy now (other than the above-mentioned wrinkles), and just ordered the darker blue denim (which is out of stock until mid-October).

I really like the light green color of this shirt. In Bean shirts, I am in between a regular large and XL, but often order XL because I prefer a looser fit on top. This XL shirt is true to size at the sides, but is somewhat small at the shoulders/upper arms/upper back, at least on me; the shirt feels okay when my arms are motionless down at my sides but if I raise my arms (part way or all the way), the arm holes and shoulders are a little tight. I do not have broad shoulders or arms. I plan to launder this shirt in cold water and no dryer, because I do not want even minimal shrinkage of the armholes/shoulder areas. The color is true to the color in the website, and the green color is pretty. I am glad that I sized up though.

The shirt is great and the petite size is well proportioned. It took me 20 minutes to remove the WHITE LL Bean label on the shirt. It was very poorly placed and very poorly chosen. WHY can't designers find a less offensive way to brand things. I wonder how many other people removed the label..or tried to. It was really hard to do!!!

I got this shirt for general use for both indoor and outdoor activities which it does well. As with LLBean products it is well made. It has pockets which are functional versus the typical decorative pockets of many women's clothes. The only negative to me is that the cloth is very stiff; I have washed it twice and am hoping that it will soften with age.

The sleeves are 3/4 inch to 1 inch too short snd the comfort across the shoulders could be less snug. I suppose if I had ordered a Misses size L, It would have fit better but it was too much trouble to send back. The sleeve length does bother me and, when I wear the shirt, I typically end up rolling up the sleeves (which is not how I wear a shirt) In order to deal with the shortness of the sleeves. The color and material are fine.

I like these shirts very much. The fabric is sturdy but pleasant to the touch, and the color (green) is quite true to the catalog. This shirt seems to be cut a bit small, however. It fits, but there isn't the room through the shoulders and armholes to be entirely comfortable. First time I've had this problem. And no, I haven't gained weight! Lost a few pounds, in fact.
