I was disappointed about the color. The ad showed a medium blue and when I received them, (open cardigan, long sleeved top, and sleeveless top -all matching super Pima cotton), they were all a really dark-ish blue. I sent them back. I've never had to return anything and generally, I have been very pleased with all of my other L.L. Bean purchasesthis was very disappointing.

I have several of these tees and they all fit great. This one had sleeves that were so long they covered most of my hands. The length was way too long as well. I returned the tee.

the most disappointing purchase I have ever made from LLB; I have other versions of this tee which I love but this one, in the same size as the others, was way too big and I will wear it only as a nightgown

Used to be my standard t shirt. Great with everything. Now it's made in Peru. Very skimpy, neck is even tight. Sleeves are tight. When I lay it on top of those that I have, it is way smaller. Big disappointment. Had to return and head elsewhere.

I bought three of these shirts for an upcoming trip, in my usual size, XS. Pre-wash, the shirts fit (the sleeves were narrower than expected, but ok) After wash, however, they shrunk considerably, leaving the sleeves unbearably tight and the hem few inches shorter. The yoke shrunk too, leaving some weird creases, when worn, under the arms and through the bust. I'm disappointed I won't get to wear these garments.

I have been buying these for years, but now they are too stretchy and feel like polyester. Not sure why Bean's changed a winning formula, but I won't buy this again!

After one machine washing in cold water and hung to dry, the length shrank by over an inch. Very disappointing.

Just received it. Like the color. Unfortunately, it is too short (I am a short person!) and the arm fitting is tight. Have to return it. Just realized I have to pay the return postage of $6 something, for nothing!

I like Woman Within shirts better or Croft and Barrow from Kohl's

I would like to return this shirt. It wrinkles and looks sloppy as soon as I put it on. It wrinkles even when spun on low and removed immediately from the washer. The length of the torso and sleeves has shrunk after only four wearings, even though I have washed it only in cold water and dried it only with no heat. It is now too short in the torso for me to wear to work, and it has gotten wider in the torso as well most unflattering. I bought three because the colors were so nice, but I cannot wear them anymore. What a disappointment. In the photo you can see how the peach shirt has shrunk compared to the sea-green shirt beneath it, which has also shrunk somewhat. Both are size XL regular.

Your customer review guidelines popup covers the Add Photo button within the Add Photo window on my tablet, so I cannot add the photo. Additional failure. In general I find Bean shirts too short in the body. I wish you would size them for non-shortwaisted women and/or add a tall range.

These are my everyday staple. Very disappointed that the fabric is much thinner and does not feel like the cotton it was before. Need to find a new source.

I bought three Pima cotton long sleeve crewneck tees a month ago and noticed to my great dismay that there was discoloration in the underarm area on the one in Capri Blue. Although I have purchased and worn this style for years, the fabric or the dye in the fabric has changed and is reacting with my deodorant. I have not changed deodorant so it has to be the fabric or the dye used on the fabric that is causing this to happen. I also noticed that the fabric is thinner than the ones I purchased quite a while ago and still wear. The ones I already has were made in Cambodia whereas these new ones were made in Peru. I was told by Customer Service that no change in style has been made since 2011. It's hard for me to believe that I have had the other three tees that long as they are still in great shape.

I am sooo disappointed with Llbean. Three strikes and you are out. I just for the third time ordered a tee shirt. Very poor quality. I wash all my clothes in cold and I hang them to dry. All of the tees have shrunk in some ways. All are way too short. A tunic is not supposed to be short! Just really will not order again!

I bought 2 of these in small, which is my usual size in LL Bean tops. I have 3 of this same style in 3/4 length sleeves, and they fit great. However, these are way too small in the neck, the sleeves and the body. I'm very disappointed!

I normally buy a size Medium in LLBean t-shirts and the fit estimator confirmed this. The ones I got looked and fit more like a Small, so I exchanged them for a size Large. These fit better in the body but were too tight in the elbows and slightly too tight in the upper back/shoulder area. This isn't accounting for any shrinkage after laundering. I can't imagine them fitting someone who wears a size 16. So now I have two return fees and nothing to show for it.

I would rate this 5 stars EXCEPT for the extreme discomfort that exists with an itchy, rough side tag that if you tuck in the shirt rubs uncomfortably against your skin. Furthermore this tag is sewn into the seam so the only way to remove it (as I had to so I could wear it) was to take out the seam, remove the seam, and then sew (by hand as no machine at home) the seam back up. A lot of work for this purchase. Before doing so I also tried to just cut the part of the tag that was sticking out, but that didn't work either as it wouldn't stay flat and would still hit my skin. So DO NOT BUY if you intend to tuck this in. I checked other shirts from other companies and the tags were made of a soft material unlike the tag in this style. . Never had this problem with other LL Bean purchases but if they were trying to reduce their costs with a cheap scratchy tag, it was at the expense of comfort. Buyer beware.

This shirt was barely long enough out of the box. Then after it was washed, the length shrunk so that it will not meet the top of my high waist jeans. It is basically a crop top. The sleeves did not shrink, just the torso length.

I have washed and dried this about three times. The neck has totally stretched out.

I loved this shirt which I purchased 11/28/2023. Unfortunately, I have it on today, 1/6/2024, and the fabric already has multiple small holes in the lower center front of the shirt after wearing it a few times. I have not done anything to expose the shirt to excessive wear. The quality of fabric is very poor.
