I like my shirts a little long, so I bought a regular instead of a petite. It still hits just below the waist, rather than hip length like it showed in the picture on the website. And the chemical smell persisted even after I aired it out for awhile.

I have bought a ton of supima tee's from LL Bean over the years. They always shrink no matter how you wash. I was tempted to try again, but decided to read reviews first. It is obvious the company has still not addressed this problem as they are still getting complaints. Instead of saying we stand behind our product you can get a refund, why don't you actually fix the problem. This makes NO sense to me!!!

I bought this long sleeve Pima cotton crewneck in the dusty purple color. I think the color is very drab & not at all flattering. All other aspects of the tee are okay & I will wear it at home. The dusty purple color appears more vibrant on your webpage. I suggest you bring back the periwinkle sky color you offered a few years ago. I would be happy to buy that color.

I ordered my merchandise via telephone and reiterated what I wanted and sizes. I ordered 3 shirts all the same size "woman's large"..I received one the right size, one woman's petite and one is on backorder and still not have received. These were gifts for Christmas so as you can see it was not good. Will be very wary to order from L.L. Bean again.

I was disappointed with the two petite long sleeve pima tees I ordered. The shirts seemed slightly smaller than the ones I have ordered previously and after washing according to label instructions they shrunk too much to be worn. It was the length of both the body and the sleeves that were a problem. The fabric itself is very nice but I ended up returning the petite shirts and have ordered the regular size hoping those will work better.

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this product. After one wash there are holes in the front of the fabric. Poor quality

have 2 petite shirts i am returning, as they are very short - not properly sized. I've been getting your clothes for years, and this is the first time this has occurred. I am especially unhappy I must pay to return what I consider faulty items. They are dark green and maroon, ordered in December. Thank you for your inquiry.

This shirt is not hip length as stated. I had to return the medium for a large. The large fits like a small medium. The sleeves are too short. The shirt is too short. LL Bean is trying to save money by using less material?

I wear these constantly: I have 5 black & 5 white in my closet all the time. I like the fit and material. BUT they very quickly develop pinholes in the front about waist height. It used to take a year or so and I didn't mind getting new ones but I am now replacing them 3-4 times a yearthis year I bought in January, April, and August, and the August ones are already showing holes in December. This happens to every single shirt in the same spot, both colors and has done so through multiple replacements. Note: I wash them in cold water, and dry in dryer (they shrink to a perfect fit.) The pinholes are NOT from exposed pants or jacket zippers, I wear the black ones with different pants than the white ones, the black go exclusively with yoga pants, they never touch metal. No other tee-shirt I own develops these holes. I am very disappointed and now on the hunt for a replacement brand.

Not like my other Pima tees. I bought medium which is my usual size and it's too short and tighter than I like. The short sleeve Pima top I bought this summer was too long.

I have been wearing these pima cotton tees for decades. I had to send back my last order as the sizing is off. The sleeves on the petite medium are over two inches longer than the others in my closet. No need to keep them. I was charged over $6.00 to mail them back. I'd like to re-order them but I think I'd have the same problem and be out $6.00 shipping once again so I am shopping elsewhere.

I have been buying these tees for decades. I wear a petite size and the two that I just had delivered are not petite. The sleeves are two inches too long. I just sent them back. I don't think I should have to pay for shipping but I do. I'm out over $6.00 for shipping.

I bought this tee in four different colors and 3 different sizes. I bought XS, XS tall and Small tall (I have a ling torso). I really wanted to like this shirt because I trust LL Beans quality, but I have to be honest, I did not like this at all. I weigh 130lbs and I'm 5'4". The upper arm in ALL of the sizes was tight, oddly tight and caused the shirt to pull strangely around the bust and neck. I am more on the muscular side, but I have never had this problem with any other tees. Needless to say, they all went back. I am glad some like them, but I could not get past the arms being tight.

This shirt had so much going for it until I discovered, yet again, that the crew neck hole was big enough to get a soccer ball through. Don't believe the picture. It seems I should expect this given the track record in the last year. I wear a lot of LL Bean cloths because they fit. Perhaps the foreign makers think plus size people have exceptionally large heads atop their large bodies, ain't so! I need some long sleeve crewneck shirts but I am sorry ti say I will have to find another source.

I was disappointed about the color. The ad showed a medium blue and when I received them, (open cardigan, long sleeved top, and sleeveless top -all matching super Pima cotton), they were all a really dark-ish blue. I sent them back. I've never had to return anything and generally, I have been very pleased with all of my other L.L. Bean purchasesthis was very disappointing.

I have several of these tees and they all fit great. This one had sleeves that were so long they covered most of my hands. The length was way too long as well. I returned the tee.

Used to be my standard t shirt. Great with everything. Now it's made in Peru. Very skimpy, neck is even tight. Sleeves are tight. When I lay it on top of those that I have, it is way smaller. Big disappointment. Had to return and head elsewhere.

I bought three of these shirts for an upcoming trip, in my usual size, XS. Pre-wash, the shirts fit (the sleeves were narrower than expected, but ok) After wash, however, they shrunk considerably, leaving the sleeves unbearably tight and the hem few inches shorter. The yoke shrunk too, leaving some weird creases, when worn, under the arms and through the bust. I'm disappointed I won't get to wear these garments.

This shirt is very very short. Not able to wear. Would not buy again

I have been buying these for years, but now they are too stretchy and feel like polyester. Not sure why Bean's changed a winning formula, but I won't buy this again!

After one machine washing in cold water and hung to dry, the length shrank by over an inch. Very disappointing.
