I have been shopping on LL Bean for years, but, quite frankly I am not satisfied with this shirt anymore. I am not a big person at all - 5'2" and 120 pounds and the sleeves are so snug before I even wash it. The material is really too thin for a winter shirt. The care instructions are printed on the white shirt in gold and hard to read. On the inside paper label it is just in foreign languages - that is not right. This is an American company. You can do better than this LL Bean if you want my business.

I am not tall and this shirt is super short. It is also very wide. The only thing I liked was the softness of the fabric. The fit is awful.

Soft and great color. I found the shirt was too short and did not fall at my hip as advertised. I am 5' 6". No option for "tall" fit. Need to return.

Very disappointed I've bought llbean pima cotton tees for years I've notice the past year or two that quality has greatly changed. The last 3 I've bought have developed holes with very little use.

When I buy/gift t-shirts I only want products that can withstand a normal wash and dry. I received 3 of these t-shirts for Christmas in size small, my normal size. Before washing they were slightly long in the body and arms. After one wash they have shrunk noticeably and are now somewhat too short in both places. I'm short-waisted but still will not use these except under a sweater. This is a shame since LL Bean always has better color choices than its competitors.

It fit me true to size, no complaints there. My only issue is I cannot stand the thin material, the Pima cotton. Its slimy like and feels uncomfortable on my skin. Also, it's too shiny and cheap looking. Not a fan at all! I much prefer the interlock cotton, it's thicker and holds shape well. I normally wear a large but with Bean knits, I always go up one size because you will lose a good inch or two when you wash for the first time, guaranteed!

I began ordering from LLBean in 1999 and have enjoyed so many of their women's clothes for travel and everyday wear. I have loved the pima cotton tops and the past two orders have been such a disappointment. Totally different than what they've had for years. Do not launder and dry well and always wrinkled no matter how careful I am. Now I need to find a different vendor and try to find the old quality. These are made in Peru but the fabric is just not up to par.

The general body fit of the shirt is true to size, but the sleeves (by a couple of inches) and especially the length of the shirt (several inches) are too long, disproportionately so! I also don't like the clingy nature of the material. Very disappointed...returned all of the shirts (I had ordered five in different colors).

I have been wearing this shirt for years. My most resent purchased ones shrinks so much they are no longer long sleeve but 3/4 sleeve and are way to short. They have shrunk 3-4 inches in length

I like everything about it except it's too short. Wish it was longer.

Women who wear petite have shorter arms and legs than those who wear regular. I've noticed that the sleeves and slacks in petite have gotten longer the past few years. The sleeves on this LS tee shirt went way past my fingertips. I used Bean Bucks so I'm keeping it and will push the sleeves up. Otherwise I'd have returned it.

Ordered 3 in medium and the colors were beautiful - turquoise, celadon and plum. Opened one and tried it on and was so disappointed at the fit. There was way too much fabric under the arms. The fit was without any form at all and just hung. The seams felt especially thick. Too bad - they all went back.

Yuck! I have 3 of these that I bought within the past 2 years and I loved them. But this one (and with the same item number),,,, the neckline is so much smaller it's too close for comfort. And the material feels oddly synthetic, not luxuriously soft like your prior versions. And the shoulder seam is so prominent! It looks and feels like a mediocre department store purchase, not an LLBean product. What happened?? Returning it.

For 0ver 30 years I've been buying tees from Beans. Now we have this size called "slightly fitted." I'm not a really heavy person, but I love my tees loose. I always ordered up one size. Now, no matter what I do, I can't get the nice body skimming tee I use to get at Beans, not in pima. So sad.

We have been loyal LLBean customers. I ordered three women's tee shirts. One with three-quarter sleeves (fit perfect) and two of the long sleeves. I took them on a business trip. The length of white one was unusually short but became even shorter after one washing in cold water no dryer. The second shirt also shrunk from bottom. Although not as bad it is short and I am unable to wear without a sweater covering my waist. Funny, the sleeves and bust were fine. I am sending both shirts for a refund.

Great fit and fabric is nice, until I washed in cold water and tumbled dried on low. It shrunk up and is way too short on me. Disappointing because I would want one in several colors.

I have purchased Supima shirts from LLBean for many years, and they are great. I love the material and really love the slightly-fitted style. I've tried other brands' supima shirts and none of them come close to Bean's Supima. That said, I'm needing to replace some of my ol' favorites, but LL no longer offers the V-neck style in long- or short-sleeve...Why, Bean, Why?? And what has happened to the color pink? I really don't care what the latest "color trends" are. I wear the colors that look good on me, and the mauves and corals are not flattering for my skin tone. Every new season I eagerly search the site hoping to find the Supima colors and styles I like, but have been disappointed time and again. Bring back V-necks! Bring back Pink!! I'll raise my star rating to 5+ when you do.

I had great hopes for this shirt. Felt like quality material and fit wall - not too tight. But first washing shrunk it up. I cannot wear it over pants without a sweater. Yes, washed in cold water, gentle cycle. Not happy.

I received 2 white long sleeve t-shirts for Christmas. The shirt fit great before I washed it and I was really happy to have them. Washed both shirts and now neither one fits - the sleeves shrank by at least an inch and the body shrank by almost 2 inches. Pretty disappointed....I have been an LL Bean customer for over 25 years and never had issues like this before.

Initially the fabric quality is a nice weight and softness. However, I was a bit concerned about how short-waisted it seemed and sleeves were a bit shorter than a regular should be. After only a couple of washes, the shirts have continued to shrink in the waist and the arms. They are now practically mid-drift and 3/4 sleeve shirts. I am very disappointed in the quality and will be returning. I am a short person and yet these now fit more like a super-petites. I hope LL Bean will make a Tall of these so perhaps us ladies that prefer not to show our bellies can have shirts that fit.

I have purchased many things from L.L.Bean over the years and normally love what I have. This particular item did not meet this company's high stands. The shirt looked as if it was made of a considerable amount of spandex, not quality cotton. The sleeves were uncomfortably tight. The overall quality was disappointing

The quality of LLBean tees has certainly declined. I returned all 4 of these tees I purchased as the neck is much smaller than ones I bought previously. Shirts are uncomfortable. I used to be able to count on Bean for cotton tees, but lately I have gone elsewhere. Too bad.

I have about a dozen of these (older ones). Perhaps current styles say longer is better, but I'm 5'2", size 6, and the small regular I just bought is really tight. I have a really small bustline...can't imagine what slightly bigger gals do. This shirt is far, far too long and quite narrow. My previous smalls and XS are more roomy. After shrinkage in the past, the petites often get too short in the arm, so I thought I'd try the S. I don't think there IS a size that would fit me.
