I'm only 5'2", so i got the Petite. After washing, the length shrank considerably. Too short!

I miss the fabric of real soft, sturdy cotton tees you made for years. You kept the nice detail at the neckline, but I do not care for this new fabric. It is thin and has a strange feel and I doubt it is actually cool to wear in the hot summer. Plus the cut has changed- a shapeless body and long thin monkey-arm sleeves. I don't understand. I have your shirts that are several years old and look and fit better.

I've purchased these for over 20 years. The new version is soft but thinner and the sleeve is more "fitted". I liked the old loose fit and fabric

Washed on cold, dried on cool and it still shrunk. Very disappointing.

I have ordered solid color Pima Cotton Tees, long sleeve, short sleeve etc. in a size medium for years. (I find I have to order shirts with a printed design in a large) The fabric is beautiful, but it is clingy, has stretch, and is too high in the armpits. (No I haven't gained weight) It is uncomfortable to wear.

Liked the color. Liked the crew neck. Liked the long sleeves. Curbed my enthusiasm for buying more than one on the initial order. Glad I did. Online catalog shows this item as having a slight flare from chest to bottom hem, but it is actually pretty boxy. When are designers going to learn that as women get older, they'd rather not have their shirts and blouses show every bump, lump, bulge, and roll at the waistline? Back it went.

I'm 5'4" and 105 pounds. The small is a bit big, but x-small arms are too tight. I went with the small and shrunk it in the dryer on low heat then pulled out when not quite dry. Be aware these shirts shrink a full size in the dryer. They are comfortable, not stylish and a bit "old lady"-- ish in my opinion.

The material is very soft, as advertised, and the color is lovely. However, as a plus sized woman, I felt that the material is way too clingy, and the length of the shirt is at least two or three inches too long.

I really like the colors of these shirts but the way they are sewn together at the neck produces a knot that is uncomfortable. I try to buy the other tees but the colors are limited and not as nice as the Pima ones. Please fix the designs and way it is sewn. Please have nicer colors in the other tees.

Love the fabric weight and feel, a just-right substantial fabric, and the crew-neckline. Proportions are a bit off though - size large fits me great at shoulders and bust, but overall length and sleeves are somewhat too short. Debating whether to try an XL, but since I normally wear M or L at LLBean, that seems odd.

Love the color and fit except shoulders are too broad. Size medium regular. I'm drawing the conclusion that I can't order from catalogs any more because the fit is unpredictable and it's expensive to pay for return shipping.

Overall, nice shirts. But I'd size up if you wash and dry all the way. I normally wear an XL or generous L. In these shirts the XL was fitted.

These Pima cotton t's could earn 5 ***** if only LLBean hadn't skimped on the fabric. They are way too short. I won't order again.

I have worn these shirts for many years. The material seems different than it used to be ... it now looses its softness after the first wash. And, it also shrinks where it didn't in years past. Very disappointing.

The pima cotton long sleeve t-shirts are made out of great feeling material with wonderful colors. The sizing is another issue! I am petite and have to wear a regular small because the body of the shirt is super short; the sleeves are about right in the regular small.

I've bought these very same shirts from L.L.Bean for many years, and I have always liked the good looks and fine, durable quality of them. The colors are great! But this time I've found the long sleeves to be somewhat tight all up and down my arms once the shirts have been washed and dried causing the expected shrinkage of this 100% cotton product. I just try to live with this.

The fit was perfect and the quality was excellent, but magenta is supposed to be a purplish red, and this tee looked just red to me.

Size - XL Petite - bought three different colors. I have been a great customer for many years--too many to count. These spima tees are just not equal to what I have purchased in the past. Very disappointing! The quality has gone downhill and they don't fit the same. They were always ample and fell at my hip; now they just about fit before washing and they fall short of my hips. I always wash in cold water and dry in low/gentle dryer. I don't dare put these in the dryer rather air-dry them.

I ordered my usual size Medium in two colors. Both were soft and fit me snugly, with no room for shrinkage. I didn't want to take a chance on washing them because if they had shrunk even slightly they would be uncomfortably small. I didn't love them enough to return and order them in Large. For reference, I am 5'5" 132 lbs., 34A, 66 yrs old.

Pima crewneck is well made, soft, and comfortable. One problem - it shrinks. I sized up assuming that It would shrink, and it shrank more than I even expected it to.

Ordered my normal size in LL Bean clothing, X-Small Petite. Fabric is nice, Dusty Purple is a pretty color, fits well - except that the sleeves are very snug. And I don't have large arms! Unfortunately, I will have to return.
