I kept seeing Pima and Supima Tees in all the catalogs so I thought it must be something nice. I bought three shirts in late summer from LL Bean and hung them in my closet because they were long sleeved and it was still hot outside. Finally in late October I took one out to wear to town and once it was on I immediately hated it! The material is thin. It feels very cold and I don't need that in northern Michigan. Worse yet it clings like crazy! All my flaws stick out like a pumpkin on a Christmas tree! I could not find my sales slips because I had had the shirts for two months in my closet. My friends all wear larger sizes than me, so I gladly threw them all away! I often give clothes away to a church in town, but I didn't want to stick some needy person with such a lousy shirt. Why are companies cheapening their materials? I am seeing that happening everywhere.

Come on LLBean! We are tired of these T's shrinking to short box tops. Please check out Duluth Trading Co.'s longtail T's and give us similar lengths.
Thank you!

Currently LL Bean does not carry any V-neck tees or sweaters except for Cashmere.
I really miss the long sleeve V-Neck cotton tees. The pimas are the best but there are virtually none of any fabric at all available.
Please bring back the V-Neck long sleeves.

While this shirt is very soft, comfortable, holds its shape well, it is TOO SHORT. It needs to fall at lower hip. I wear this shirt to bed w PJ bottoms and it raises up above waist, causing a a chill on exposed skin. Blue color is lovely and goes well with Print pajama bottoms.

I am soooo disappointed in the L.L. Bean Tee shirts. I have ordered them for years, went up in size as I aged and gained weight. Always perfect until this year. My children know that I love them and my last years shirts were beginning to show wear. I received 4 as Christmas gifts. I noticed immediately that they seemed shorter, but, thought I might be able to adjust. Then, I washed them. The length shrunk so much until now I will not even put them on. The shirt ends just at my navel. If you are older than 6, this is not a flattering look for and female. They are going to Goodwill and I will not order any more. It seems that L.L. Bean is cutting costs by getting chintzy on good products. There are a lot more productive ways to cut costs than ruin the fit of some of the most iconic clothing around. Sad!!!!

Bought this shirt to sleep in w/the cotton flannel snowflake pants (which I love). However, after only a couple of washings (cold, gentle cycle, line dry) the shirt has shrunk in length so that now it is just below my navel. When I purchased it, it was longer.
Comfortwise, this is a beautiful garment. Color is lovely, feel is soft. I would like to see these sleep shirts in longer lengths.

bought 2 shirts and both shrunk by at least 1 inch on the body length and the sleeves after 1 washing according to manufactures directions. Would not recommend purchasing these shirts.

I was disappointment in the red pima cotton tea recently ordered. Thinking it would be different from last year, I ordered it but was greatly displeased...the color actually rubs right off. Last year I had to dispose of one just like it because the color bled so badly it ruined my bra and all under garments. I have always been pleased with LLBean products but where ever the red is being made needs to be scrapped. So, I sent all three teas back for a refund... not taking any chances. I was hoping for a heavier cotton tea not that the silky polyester material. Sorry!

I placed a Christmas order and got a $10.00 card to use. I ordered the long sleeve tee in red. As of today I have washed it three times by itself (waste of water, energy etc) and the red is literally bleeding out (after three washes!!). The dryer filter, the bounce sheet and the inside of the washer is deep red. What a cheap undesirable this product is.

I purchased two of these T-Shirts and with both the fabric was so thin I would not wear it without something underneath. What has happened to the quality of LL Bean? I've purchased these Ts in the past and the thickness of the fabric was great. With the newest product, I would have to wear two together to equal what I previously purchased. The Azure color was beautiful and even after washing, the color remained vibrant.
Also, the size was smaller than my previous purchase. Ordered same size and color (white) as before but not happy with this new order. Both have been returned. I'm at the point of no longer purchasing T-shirts from Bean.

This shirt is too large. I had previously purchased the same style shirt in the short sleeve version which fit great. However, this long sleeve shirt is way too big. And the worse part is that the color rubbed off on my previously white bra. Don't buy this color.

It is hard to believe this supima shirt is from llbean.(Color is fiery red.) I have 2 from past years that are wonderful quality. This one is like a bad polyester. I have 2 more items on backorder and hope their quality is much higher. Otherwise,I won't be buying any more from llbean. For almost $30,I expected much more. Disappointing.

Did not use yet. Two out of five ordered are wrinkled and hard to get out. Washed on delicate with cold water and dried on cool delicate. Had to press and still have problems with wrinkles.
Never had a problem with the 100% cotton. Thought this was a better shirt so I ordered more.
Poor rating is for only two tops but will only order cotton from now on and it's cheaper?????

I was extremely dissatisfied with my last purchase of two cotton tees. I erroneously assumed they were PIMA cotton, as that is what I always order. However, upon opening the packaging I immediately noticed that the material was less dense, less fluffy, and clearly, more thinly-constructed than the 2 dozen or so other PIMA cotton tees which I have purchased. Then, I noticed the label: SUPIMA. When I emailed the company they implied that PIMA and SUPIMA are one and the same. They clearly are not. I would suggest that if you are putting something on sale because it is SUPIMA, that you notify your customer base with perhaps, a "NOTE: Material is not PIMA; it is SUPIMA, which is similar but not the same." Don't know when I will return.
