The sleeves are very, very tight and this is before even washing it.

I have purchased several of these shirts over the years and they have been a wardrobe staple for me. Until now. When laundered they shrunk almost 2" in the sleeve and overall length. I now have to return them for large and hope they will shrink only to the medium I originally ordered. I have been a loyal LLBean customer for 25+ years. I have returned more clothes in the last year than I have in the 25 years prior. I appreciate your generous return policy, but I don't want to return....I want your old quality back!

I used to love the Pima Tees. Bought lots of them in all styles and many colors over the years. Now they don't hold their shape AND they shrink! After 1 washing my shirt shrunk at least 4" in length. Never again.

I've been buying LL Bean cotton t's for years. The last couple of years the t-shirts have gotten much more lightweight and silky smooth and I suppose a lot of people like that - but I'd like a heavier weight t-shirt that doesn't cling. Is there still a crew-neck, long sleeved t-shirt in the catalog that has some heft to it?

My wife does not like the neck, I have bought many of your women's T's in the past and you stopped making the 3/4 sleeve boatneck and my wife does not like any of the new style neck lines, including the jeweler neck & v-neck

At first I loved these shirts and even ordered more in short sleeve. Now I have found ANY little spot of food or makeup or whatever does not come out. I have tried Shout/stain remover and they come out of the wash with spots that will not come out. I now have 3 shirts I cannot wear and have to be very careful cooking etc with the others. Wasted money - I would like to get a refund. I don't think cotton t shirts should stain SO easily - I am not a slob - I cook and do normal things at home!

I began shopping with l.l. bean 25 years+ ago. Quality of pima cotton is no longer there. One of these pima tees, royal plum, was acceptable. Acceptable, but not exceptional. The other, sunlit coral, shrank 1 and 1/4 inches in the sleeve!! They were laundered and dried the same. The exchange (hoping the problem was a fluke) was easy but the replaced sunlit coral shoulder seams were sewn poorly. The tee will be returned. So sad to see a company's quality and dependability go downhill. The best I can say is, luck of the draw and don't expect the old l.l. bean quality.

Disappointing. I wore this over regular jeans (not tucked in) and by end of day, there were holes in the material from wearing against the front closure.

I am a long-time customer. My height is 5.3 (normal height for a female) but the sleeves for regular-sized t-shirts are always too long, so I used to order petit size. I was a happy customer for a long time, ordering several shirts every year- good quality, service, right size. HOWEVER, the petit size is no longer petit. I compared the sleeve length with my old t-shirts: the "new" petit sleeves are at least one inch longer, which is nothing to do with shrinkage - they are really much longer! Very frustrating, can't use this product any more. PLEASE DON'T MARK IT PETIT IF YOU ARE NOT PLANNING TO DELIVER!

As someone who's owned a lot of cotton clothes, the fabric in this shirt doesn't seem at all like pima cotton. It's thinner and stiffer. It seems more like a synthetic product than cotton. So disappointed.

What a HUGE disappointment my new crew neck tees are - and I do mean huge! They are fully 2" longer and 2" wider than last year's version!! I'm 5'8" and look like I am trying to wear a mini-dress over my jeans. Wish you would have left them unchanged. The new ones are on the way back to you.

This shirt shrunk in the sleeves and body - and I thought I was careful washing it in cold water and low drying it .. so I would never recommend it !

I never learn my lesson when it comes to LL Bean t-shirts whether long or short sleeve. Even though I only wash the shirts in cold water they ALWAYS shrink by several inches. After only one washing my long sleeve t-shirt now has a two inch gap at my wrist and is a good 2-3 inches shorter at the hem no longer reaching my hip but instead my waist. Very disappointing especially for the price.

I was so excited to see these on line and when they arrived but that did not last long. I need a petite, short and sz 10. I ordered a sz. med. which usually is just right. This was washed in cold water and dried on low heat. It is now too short and too tight though it seemed perfect when delivered. Very disappointed. Excess shrinkage or not made large enough to allow for it. I should not have gotten a petite but then the sleeves would have been too long. Very disappointed but too much trouble to return the purchase; will donate to social service agency. No more LL Bean for me.

This item was Beautiful out of the bag, but cut for a very different type of figure. Just going up a size or two in L.L. Bean does not guarantee that it will be able to address your curves. The larger things get the frumpier they get. There is no allowance for shape and style. But all of that is irrrelevant, since it shrinks so much after the first wash and dry that I was unable to get the "correct" size over my shoulders .

I wear a tee under scrubs and wanted one that would last longer than the cheap ones from the big chain stores. Even washing on the delicate cycle it still got those little holes after less than a year and is now in my rag bag. Very disappointed

I ordered this top because it was described as soft and well made, plus it came in one of my favorite colors. When I received it and took it out of the bag,I could tell immediately that it was short and boxy. Very unflattering. The color was lovely, but didn't make a difference. I returned this item and ask that L.L.Bean PLEASE make tops that are longer!! Take a page from Duluth Trading Co.'s book and make more useful and attractive styles. Quality, fit, and style are all important.

I followed washing instructions and this tshirt shrunk length wise. Very disappointed as it was more expensive then I would spend but thought it would be better quality.

I'm sorry to find out after already wearing 2 of these Pima shirts that I bought this past month, there is plastic strips sewn into the shoulder seams. I would not have bought these as I wanted 100% cotton and didn't expect plastic in the seams. Plastic next to my skin irritates.

I loved the cobalt color and was anxious to add another LLBean shirt to my extensive collection. I bought the Pima SLEEVELESS SHELL in Petite XS. It fit beautifully although it was longer than I'd like. I purchased the Pima V-neck SHORT-SLEEVE T-SHIRT - Petite XS. It was a considerably looser fit but was borderline acceptable. Then, I tried on the Pima LONG-SLEEVE CREWNECK also in Petite XS. The upper arms were tight - a problem I've never experienced before with my skinny arms. The body was wide - at least an extra 12" around the hips and torso. When I put my hands on my hips, the underarms flared out, the chest area pulled tight, and it looked like I was wearing a winged suit - super unflattering and uncomfortable. So, I exchanged the Petite XS for a Regular XS. Well, that shirt arrived but was no improvement. I don't dare try a larger size as that will just widen the body. Why has the pattern changed to such a degree? I am 5' 10.5" tall, 132 lbs., 34A. It should not be that difficult to find a long sleeve shirt that fits decently, but those from LLBean are much too wide and too long. I immediately have to take in the side seams to give them some shape. Now, with tight arms and winged armpits, there is no remedy. I'm tempted to buy children's sizes but know the sleeves will be too short.

I have tried the Supima tops in years past and I always end up returning them. Fabric feels like polyester, cheap. And the neckline is stretched out...not a true crew neck. This recent order confirms that this is still the case. Too bad, the colors are beautiful. I am sticking with the 100% cotton interlock shirts with better fabric and true, and much more flattering, crew necks. Please offer more colors in these shirts.

I have very happily purchased and worn dozens of these shirts over the last 5 or 6 years. The were obviously a favorite. I ordered 3 new ones last week. The fabric is thin and the cut is off. Sleeves are very long and the whole shirt is simply baggy. They are being returned. Please, please please bring back the old shirt with its lovely substantial material and consistent fit.
