I am 5'6", 140lb. It is frustrating to find a good fit on me with L.L.Bean's clothing. This one fits good on my shoulder and chest, but waist and hip look big and not flattering. Even my friend knew it was not good fit on me... I will ware this under my long jacket to not showing from the waist down. I wanted in love with this long vest. It was suddenly not.

Love the vest, but it runs huge. The regular small fits more like a large. I paid for express shipping twice to get the vest before a vacation since I had to order another size and unfortunately did not get refunded any amount of the shipping.

Good quality, but I had to return it due to size. I bought a PXS, but it was way too big. I'm 5'0" and 95 pounds.

I love the fit. The length is great. It's a warm vest. Nice to wear as an extra layer in the house. The reason for the 3 stars is the phone pocket. My iPhone is small, but doesn't fit. It's useless for my phone. And one of the reasons I had chosen this vest.

I did like this vest. My problem with the vest was my cell phone didn't fit into the front pocket. Pocket is too small for some of the new phones.

The red color vest looks too pink in person to keep unfortunately. Otherwise I really like the fit and longer length

Lower part doesn't hold its shape. The huge front LLBean pocket is ugly. Grey color is good. Vest is warm & comfy.

Fit fine but didn't like the pocket or the seams across the front.

This vest was very well made. However, it was very long and boxy. Sort of looked like I was wearing a box! I prefer the old fleece vests that had more shape with princess seams. So, it went back.

For me, too thick, not so breathable, phone would not fit in chest pocket. This is more for around town. Not breathable enough even for dog walking. Still, a nice piece. Just didn't work for me.

Bought this vest because I wanted another L L Bean sweater fleece vest like one I bought several years ago. But I found the style to be less attractive. The large cotton pocket on the chest looks clunky and the style was awkwardly long. I kept the vest but don't wear it often.

Vest is well made, but I find the sweater fleece stiff and bulky. At this length, if you wish to keep the vest zipped, it bunches up when you sit. Uncomfortable! I wish LL Bean made more garments with double zippers--cost a bit more to manufacture, I'm sure, but for utility and comfort, I'd be willing to pay.

Vest is well made (seams, zipper, pockets all nicely sewn). The gray color is very attractive. The problem is the material is heavy and the vest has no shape. It's great if style isn't an issue.

I purchased this vest because it was the only one that was longer and I liked the color options. Unfortunately, the sweater material, which covers the outside of the vest and inside/outside of the collar, is both scratchy and stiff. I would've preferred the vest be fleece inside and out, but I needed the length.

Liked vest but not phone pocket location. Preference is for a deep pocket in usual location, with a closure.

A bit snug. Otherwise, enjoy the style and length.

Very long, even in petite size. Great quality. Had to return.

Well constructed, the collar is a little tall for me, and the fabric is not soft. I have washed and dried to try to soften the hand but I am not optimistic. I am 5'3 and the petite is still long in me. I would give a 5 star except for the hand of the fabric.

Gray is very nice. Pink is awful. Very lightweight which is what you want sometimes. Not the best quality but I love vests and this fits well.

1) This vest is a tad longer than the average vest. Great! 2 & 3) The knitted material is a slightly heavier gauge than the other brand I own (much less pilling than conventional fleeces) Great & Great! But 4) the contrasting breast pocket is too "loud" for anything but trail work, which the material is at odds with! This knitted material makes for a slightly dressier finish to an outfit, the glaring contrast of the pocket does not. While I'm sorry to not advertise LLBeanI cut the whole pocket off, CAREFULLY, and the vest can be easily worn at work. And it is nicely warm, thank you.

I love the color of this jacket!! The material was soft and comfortable. Unfortunately, it ran a little too large and I felt the fit was a little unflattering. I'm kinda boxy shaped and the fit made my decidedly square physique more square, yikes! I didn't fully appreciate how long the back was either. Definitely not a vest that I could wear while at work in a hospital. I would have kept it for casual purposes, but have a closet full of better fitting casual garments. I'm excitedly waiting on a vest that I think will do the trick. The vest was really cute, just not for me!!

I recently bought this vest and have worn it twice. Followed the washing instructions and am disappointed that it looks kind of wrinkled and sloppy. A "cool iron" isn't going to improve that. Also, ite S not really pilling yet, but seems to also have a few minor pulls after 2 wearings. Wonder if there's a difference in the fabric quality depending on the color. My vest is pink; my husband's grey quarter snap pullover is holding up better.

Logo is too loud. It should be at least a little subtle.

I'm 4'11" and I wear petite, extra small. This vest has quality workmanship. But it's not for me. It's too long. It would look good to a taller person.

I ordered this vest as warmth and extra pockets to wear over scrubs at work and out on the trail. I typically wear a medium in LLbean, so that's what I ordered this vest in. It was so large I looked like a clown. I'm returning it very disappointed. And, honestly, the big patch pocket on the front just looks out-of-place, so I won't be getting a replacement in small. Just doesn't look nice.
