Way too long for me! I am 5'2 and the vest was just too long for my torso.

I didn't like the way the back of the vest was styled. I thought it would be a solid back without the seam.

I like the vest, and have worn it quite a bit, but one of the zipper pulls on a pocket came off fairly early. Since I don't use the zippers in the pockets very often, that's not such a big deal. The problem I noticed, when I lost a few things I had put in the inside pockets, that the inside pockets aren't finished. There is a 3-inch gap in the bottom that things can fall out of. Another vest in the same general style doesn't have those gaps. I guess I would warn people to check those pockets before they put anything in them.

I would have wanted this otherwise really nice-looking vest except for the much too in your face logo. Perhaps llbean should come up with something more subtle or classy and less contrasting and also put it in less prominent locations. I avoid so many llbean products and go to other brands because of this unfortunate issue. (also a particular issue with their hats - can't buy most hats because of the huge logo all over the front). Anyway, this otherwise nice vest seriously does not need the overdone logo and especially not right on the breast pocket.

I love the color and length of this vest but overall I wish it were a closer fit to my body. Also, the lower back hem curls up a bit and so does the collar when I want to lay it down at the neck.

At first it seems nice. I tried it on, and the fit of it was good for me. What I don't like is the length, and I didn't realize how long the 'long' was going to be. So, from the waist down, I don't like it. But I decided to keep it and see how it went. I put it on for the first time this morning, tried to zip it up, and it wouldn't zip. I worked at it for about 3-4 minutes, and finally got it. But if the zipper is not working easily, then I will probably return it.

In the past five years I have purchased many sweater fleece jackets. I have been very pleased with them but this year the designers have decided to put a horizontal seam under the bust line and above the pockets. This makes the sweater look blocky and destroys the vertices flow of the sweater. They seam is too high makes you put look pregnant even though you are thin. This style of blocking whether they do it in the same color of material or in different material colors is a BIG fashion mistake. All of our clothes in the 50s and 60s were made this ways (clothes were made out of cloth scraps) , we looked bad then and it doesn't look any good now. They also made the pocket zipper cover material different than the regular sweater fleece material. It makes you look wide at the hips. This sweater used to be one of my favorite products but I've sent the recent ones I ordered back. Also the colors are horrible .

Material is wonderful, and the drop hem in the back not only covers the backside but is very flattering. My concern is the large pocket in a different material on the chest. If the pocket were the same material as the vest, even with the logo, it wouldn't be so obvious. But seriously, what would you even use that pocket for that wouldn't draw more attention than it already does?

It was a good quality vest, but too long for a petite person. It wasn't what I expected so I returned it.

It's beautifully made and very warm. However, the fit it very large around the middle. It's like a tent around the waistline. If it were a little bit closer to the skin, it would be warmer.

I love the feel of the fabric. I love the long length. I love the comfort. I love the warmth. I hate the collar. Too stiff. If I try to fold the collar down, it will soon pop right back up again. I hate the look of the patch pocket. Makes the vest look unsophisticated. If I decide to keep it, it will be because I don't think I'll find another vest with this long of length. Maybe I will tack down the collar with needle and thread and see if I can't remove the pocket.

Very comfortable but too long, had to return because it looked disproportionate

I'm really a petite small, but ordered a medium regular, thinking it might be tight over a sweater. It runs true to size, so was way too long and big. I liked the color (light gray) and fabric, but had to return it. I wish this vest was offered in petite!

The vest is comfortable and fits well, but I question the quality control given for a garment one of whose zippers broke within a couple of weeks of my having it.

It is an attractive vest, but snug for a medium, which usually fits me very well. I decided to return it.

It is very long and I a m 54' 10", long and shirt-like, not bulky

I really like this vest, and it is the perfect length to wear with leggings so I don't feel exposed. I like the color and the fit, both are definite A+. HOWEVER, after having it for just a few weeks, the vest is pilling right around where my desk hits it. :-(

Vest was too long in the back. Oversize logo patch on the chest made me feel like a walking advertisement. I returned this item just this morning. Tried it on 3 different times at home and the verdict was the same each time, not what I hoped it would be.

I received a gift card for Christmas and used it to purchase this vest. I like the pewter color, fabric and length of the vest but unfortunately it is too big and a bit boxy. However, because it was a gift card, I'm returning it for an XS. Hopefully it will work and I don't have to return it again for another $6.50. My only complaint about LLBean is that it doesn't have free exchanges. It's the main reason I don't buy clothes from LLBean. I know their credit card offers free shipping, but I just don't need another credit card.

This vest was a miss for me. I like the fabric, color, and weight but it's too big and long for my petite frame. It looks bulky and completely covers my bottom which I am not a fan of. I understand that this is a "long vest" style, but without petite sizes it's overwhelming and the vest extends several inches past my shirt even with a tunic length top so I don't like the way it looks open.

I bought this vest to bring it with me on our winter vacation. Dissappointed that the left side pocket zipper broke after the first day of use. Not a real big deal but i cant secure anything in that pocket

Petite sizing is not like the previous version of this vest and needs adjustment. The middle seam was 3 inches above my waistline - and I'm considered short-waisted. Returned.

My absolute favorite jacket is the sweater fleece long sleeve from LLBean, so when I saw the vest...i was ecstatic. I did not, however, notice the chest pocket in the photos. It's a different material and sticks out boldly in a very odd sort of way. I was so sad, as I have been wanting a white fleece for a while. It's going back today. Love the sweater fleece material...just without the weird pocket!

Way too big for size medium. And pretty long. Longer than expected even for a long vest.

I was disappointed in this vest. The hideous pocket added to the front, in a cheesy fabric, was a major deal breaker for me.
