Unfortunately I'm over weight so picking the size is a problem with any piece of clothing. I'm wearing it now as my back needs extra protection in the fall, winter and spring time. Very comfortable now.

It is so comfy. Very comfortable fit. Like the length. Looks good.

I like the vest very much! It's warm. The first thing that I did was to remove that upper pocket. It isn't attractive at all. That's why the 4 star instead of 5.

The fit is wonderful but it pills after awhile, esp when worn under a jacket

It is a wonderful vest! I love it. The only thing I wish it had to make a perfect 5 star, would be a reverse zipper capability at the bottom for sitting when wearing it.

love it...not a fan of the giant logo...but stylish and warm..true to size

This is a nice vest. It's heavier than I expected, that's okay. It's roomy and can fit over heavy shirts. It's well made and will layer nicely in cold winters.

Nice length, well made, but a little tight even for a knit.

I purchased the vest on sale in June so will not have an opportunity to wear it until fall/winter. I am optimistic it will be great. I love the fit and the longer length.

I love a good vest and this is one of those. It's warm, long enough to cover my hips, and still give me freedom in the arm area..

Very well made, warm and comfortable. I was hoping for a lighter vest , not quite as heavy, but will keep it. For me the large is plenty large..can have a sweater easily layered with it

Well made, warm, great pockets but definitely long (and I'm tall!) - hangs out past some coats if you like to layer. Would buy more in a shorter length.

great color and fit. Needs larger breast pocket to accommodate phones

I love everything about this vest except it feels scratchy on the back of my neck sometimes. It is warm. I love the length and the overall fit. Side pockets and breast pocket are convenient. The color goes with almost anything.

This has been my go-to all winter. So warm and comfortable. Although I don't like how long it is because it makes me look shorter than I am, it does provide extra warmth around the hips because it is long.

The only thing keeping me from giving it five stars is the collar is very high and my makeup rubs off on it. I have to wash mine frequently. Other than that, it fits great and is a nice longer length. Perfect for those in between season days.

I bought this vest for my daughter. She rejected it because she thought it was too heavy for her. I really didn't need another vest at this point. It was a good vest. There was nothing wrong with it, but we returned it, because my daughter wanted a lighter weight one. I like the large zipper pockets.

Nice vest. I like the longer length and the weight is just right. My only complaint is the overly large LLBean logo and the smooth patch where the logo is placed. It loos like I am wearing a large name tag. For this reason, there is no way to dress up the vest. The logo dresses it down and limits the type of places you can wear it.

I love the color, texture and fit. Unfortunately when fully zipped up the closure at the chin rubs and hurts.

Perfect in every way except the collar, which stands up too much for a person with a short neck. It has to be bent back.

Wasn't quite what I was looking for. The color cream is more oatmeal, and it feels more like a man's style sold in a 'woman's' size and color. Not quite the right fit. Kind of boxy. Even over a heavy top. Serviceable. Warm. I thought it would be more of a polartec type fleece. But I like the length. Great for walks on cold nights.

This is a well made vest, and a great color that goes with everything. It didn't flatter me, as it kind of flared out below the seam and made my tummy look fat, so I had to return it.

I love the vest! its comfortable keeping the core warm. Good size pockets, can be worn under a jacket. Nice inside pockets for my phone. The size/fit is comfortable without being form fitting. Its functional. One niggle, I am not impressed with the canvas placket pocket in the front. I love the pocket, it is useful, but the placket with the LLBean logo makes me feel as if I am wearing a name badge. Could you make it discrete? It is the one point that stops me from buying this vest in another color.

I love this vest, and it's super warm with wonderfully deep handwarmer pockets. I'd give it 5-stars except that I was a bit surprised by the length (I didn't expect it to be quite so long) or quite so warm. I guess the term sweater fleece didn't tell me how warm it is. Could be I didn't read the description accurately.
