Plus: the paper white color is not yellowish (more sandy) so it could be worn with very white jeans. Think several shades lighter than the beige cotton fisherman's sweater with the zippers on the side. Like length w/ true shape jeans. Neutral: knit is somewhat loose and some would find that immodest. Not me. Will wear beige bra. I will need to be more careful when wearing & washing because a loose knit is more likely to snag. Minus: Neckline is not well defined - higher than the cotton sweater much like it from last year which I own in several colors. I suspect washing and drying will require quite a bit more care and blocking b/c of the very loose knit. Bottom line: I think it's overpriced but I'm keeping it because I like cotton, I like long sleeves and it looks nice on me for casual wear that is a step up from my favorite LL Bean tees (I hate Pima).

I realize that the "slub" look is supposed to have some unique imperfections. But there was a place that was almost a hole even before it was worn and several others that looked like they would unravel soon. I thought the material was just too thin and would not hold up at all. Pity, because otherwise I liked it

Pros: I liked the weight and feel of the sweater - perfect for mid-range temps. I also liked the collar style. Cons: The sides aren't shaped, so it looks boxy & not as "nice" as I'd hoped. The peach color is actually more apricot, i.e., more of a yellow undertone than pink. It was not a good color for me - too similar to my pasty winter skin. But it might look great on someone with a more richly-colored complexion. I'm going to exchange it for another color because it will fill a wardrobe need.

Fabric lightweight, not midweight, for a sweater. The fit was boxy and unflattering.

I was looking forward to this sweater I like the color and that it is 100 percent cotton. I ordered a medium , usually I order a large in tops. The fit was ok, the sleeves just a bit too short but doable, what I had a problem with is the length. It comes just below my waist making this sweater too short. I hope it doesn't draw up more when I wash it

Great sweater but the small is still too large for a small person. You and more companies need to add extra small sizes.

Great color and texture, but has no shape. So it hangs down off of you, if you have breasts.

This is my 2nd slub sweater and my last. It has several holes in it where the threads were This was my 2nd slub sweater from LL Bean and will be my last. It has several holes in it where the thread was not caught and pulled through properly. I will try to repair it using needle and thread. I would return it but am packing now for a trip that I had ordered this for and don't have time to mess around returning items that should have been correct. I thought LL bean was better than this. Never had a problem before.

This is a poor rating because my wife never tried it on. We did return and reordered another product. My biggest concern with LL Bean is your shippping/delivery service. If your product was no the quality it has been I would NEVER order from you. Never shipped as stated, delays are common or just does not show up as was listed. Update on tracking are days and days behind. These last 2 items on order may very well be our last.

I actually sent back as a return. I thought it would be a lot thicker and waist on it was shorter than I am used to. I have never returned anything I have purchased from Ll bean but this one was just not what I expected

This sweater was loose and looked sloppy on me. Maybe a knit shirt underneath would give it more shape. It might appeal to others. I returned it.

I like the texture of this sweater and the roll collar at the neck. However, I ordered a regular and after I washed it the sleeves shrunk and are now more like a petite size which is okay. The one thing I definitely do not like is that the ribbing at the hem is very loose and the hem is "flared". That seems to be the only way I can describe it. I really hate when a sweater hem does that. The ribbing does not retain any "elasticity" that ribbing should have so that the hem will lay close to the body. I really wanted to love this sweater and liked the photo of it online, but now it is just a sweater that looks a bit old even though it is not. I only wear it on the weekends. I wanted to wear it to work but it doesn't look quite right for the office. I am very disappointed.

This sweater is shapeless and droopy. I usually wear medium and this one hangs in folds around my hips. The return process is more trouble than it's worth so it's going to a friend who is much taller and doesn't mind that it sags. Very disappointing.

I bought this sweater recently and after one wearing it began to stretch;after the second wearing , it was so large and stretched out that I was forced to wash it to try to get it back to proper size. I'm very unhappy with it.

Ran small. The sleeves were VERY short and were inches above my wrist. I had to return. Ordered an XL (I'm usually a L or XL) in Soft Indigo. It it fit, I imagine it would be a decent lightweight sweater, but the sizing is sadly very off.

I love the color. It fits well however, when it was washed there was a very visible section of raw threads showed on the left front shoulder area. I expect better quality than this. Now I will have to go through the time consuming effort of returning something I never got a chance to wear. Very disappointing quality.

I've worn this sweater twice now, and even though I liked the fit at first, the shape of it seems to be stretching out a lot, especially the ribbed hemline. I'm not sure if washing it will help regain its fit.

The size recommended was too small and returned. The indigo color matched description/photo.

I bought three of these and regret it. At first I was thrilled- nice colors. Good relaxed fit (bought one size up). But after a single wash, the ribbing on the bottom of the sweater lost its shape. Now the sweaters hang off me like a misshapen sack. Followed the washing instructions- machine washed in cold, blocked to reshape. Big disappointment! First cotton sweater from Bean with this issue. Can only assume the positive reviews are from people who haven't washed them yet!

I saw others mentioned shrinking so I was careful to follow washing directions. Still shrank, disappointing! Was a good fit before though, just no longer.

The sweater was beautiful until it was washed. Holes developed in the back.

A few years ago, I bought this particular sweater in a Petite Large and continue to wear it. I thought I'd purchase another so ordered the same size. I was so disappointed to find that it is at least 2" longer than the one I own. It is also much larger/wider in the body. The Petite Medium is too small. In fact, the size difference between the two sizes doesn't seem proportionate. The PL is MUCH larger than the PM. I returned the sweater.

Paper white is really cream. Wish they had bright white still available. I returned it

I like the weight of this sweater. It fit well and looked great straight out of the "box", but after one wash (following care instructions), it's misshapen and looks sloppy. It also seems to have shrunk - particularly noticeable in the sleeve length. I want to like it, but I can't see paying that much for a sweater I don't want to wear.

Bought this in the fall and after washing (per the instructions) it has a hole on the back. Too bad because it was comfortable and I would have bought more colors. I bought 2 at the time and the other one is intact, for now.
