It's a comfortable fabric, nice color, but very small and slim fitting. When I think of a slub type of sweater, I think of something a bit oversized all over so you can throw it over anything. I'm a sz 2 or 4 and I think I got a small. Sadly, I returned it. Really thought it was going to be my summer 'go to sweater' if I needed something light to throw on. This would just make me too hot. Bummer.

The knit had a good 3-season weight, but it was just a block of fabric on me, with no shape, no drape, and the arms were too short. Its barrel boxiness looked rustic and sloppy on me, and the weave would instantly get pulls from anything that touched it. Still, I wanted to love this sweater and tried it in 4 colors (all of which were well represented in the photos online). I'd also ordered in 3 different sizes to find the right fit, but I returned all. I'll stick with the Bean's enduring Double L Mixed-Cable Sweater that is both rugged and classic.

I loved the color, the weight, the look of this sweater until I saw the thick 3 inch band at the bottom of the sweater. Had there been a bottom with a rolled hem like the neckline or a thinner band, the sweater would have been perfect. But the thick band took away the casual dressy look of the sweater and made it unflattering. Disappointed with the look and returned sweater.

Color is nice. Sleeves run slightly short. Nice cotton!

This was my second Rollneck Pullover and the neck opening is smaller than the previous one of another color. It feels tight around my neck and I'm hoping I can stretch it out a bit. If not, I may attempt a modification rather than return.

I returned the sweater. It wasn't horrible; I just didn't like the texture (sort of springy yarn, vs. my older version of the sweater) and I'd expected paper white to be a bright white. This was cream colored. The crew collar was a little higher/smaller than I liked, too. Still looking for the perfect cotton sweater to order in several colors...!

The sweater itself is fine, although I agree with the reviewers who say it runs small. I ordered the paperwhite color expecting an off-white sweater that would be a real neutral. The sweater that arrived is a really odd color that has a yellow/tan cast, closer to the color of a new wooden spoon than to a soft white. And because it runs small, the fit is closer than I expected, even though I ordered a regular rather than my normal petite.

I really wanted this sweater to work, but it was just too small. I'm 5'3" and have short arms, but even the regular large sleeves barely came to my wrists and I felt it was too short at the waist as well. I'd recommend ordering up a size.

It hasn't held it's shape and looks baggy. It is lose around the waist. I would prefer it was more fitted.

Did not like the faded color for blue. I returned it but would buy in colors that are in happier colors.

I love the color and style, but the quality is not up to LL Bean standards. The sweater has a loose weave, which is fine, but it arrived with a small hole in the neckline. Easy to repair and I kept the sweater. After a couple wearings, another hole developed near the waist. Again, I repaired it. It's unfortunate the quality is not good. I have LL Bean sweaters that are 15 or so years old, still going strong. This one may not make it through this winter.

Love the sweater. The color is more a light yellow than a beige.

This is my third purchase of these sweaters. Quality is sadly worse each time. I buy them oversized to allow for shrinkage. Overall, love the texture and weight of the midweight slubs; first one (cream) was amazing! Second one (lavender) had a small hole after washing which I repaired. Third one (mint green) had a small hole on arrival. I repaired it also, but on finding two more holes to repair after one wash, I'll be returning it.

Did not like yellowish look for a supposedly 'natural' color, and returned it.

I've purchased these sweaters many times, yet I'm probably not going to continue purchasing them in the future. They're my go to spring/summer sweater. I love the material and fit, but within three to four hand washings, they lose their shape around the bottom.

The sweater was not mid-weight in my opinion (it was lighter] and the fit was long and baggy.
The overall effect was not flattering.

I suppose I shouldn't be too disappointed. The picture of the sweater is pretty accurate. Very casual, appropriate for the house or maybe the grocery store. It runs large and I got the smallest size. It's comfortable enough but buying a sweater from a discount store would have been a better use of my money.

I bought two of these in Pastel colors for the spring and summer evenings. I was somewhat disappointed in their weight and body. They are light - not medium, as advertised. They are also clingier, with less shape-retention than I've come tto expect from LL Bean sweaters. The colors and stitch are pretty, though.

I received mine with a pull in the fabric. It's a loose weave and will pull easily. The fabric was not too soft. I returned this item.

The sweater looks beautiful in the photo in the catalog, a lovely neutral beige. I also considered the one that looks aqua, until I noticed the color name was "mint" and wondered what the color would actually be. How wrong could I go with a neutral beigeuntil it turns out more of a buttercup yellow? The texture is nice, the fit is good, and I bought one just like it for my daughter so that we can wear them together sometime. I know the stores aren't allowing returns because of COVID-19, and I don't want to spend more time and money on this disappointment. I am adaptable and can get used to the color, BUT I think your catalog should have dependable color photos every time. I would recommend this product to a friend who wanted a yellow sweater, on basis of quality, workmanship, and style.

I like the look of the sweater very much, but the cut makes you look sloppy, it is very baggy

It is a comfortable and pretty sweater but it loses it shape and stretches out after wearing. It shrinks back to shape after washing but again stretches out after wearing. I prefer for it to be more fitting and hold its shape.
