Although they offer a lot of coverage, it feels like way too much material in the hip area. I wish I had returned before I washed them.

I have bought these bottoms for many years. The last purchase I made, we're not like the others. Cheaply made no elastic in the butt area.

The bottom did fit great - I liked the wide band at the top and the support they gave; HOWEVER, the elastic band rolled immediately upon the first wearing and became permanently creased in the rolled over position. I only wore the bottoms two times last year but wasn't able to make the return until now. I'm exchanging them but if the next pair does the same thing, I'm going to return them and get the refund. I agree with another review that these bottoms are too expensive to have this be a problem.

The Beansport Swim Bottom has been my favorite for many years, and now suddenly these are not made the same, and they have been the only swim bottoms that fit well. Less fabric makes larger leg openings in the current bottoms, and this is simply too revealing! The 'ink' or 'navy' color is no longer available, and was one of my favorites as well. Please LL Bean, bring back the fuller cut of BeanSport Swim Bottom, and add a shade of navy!

This is a well made suit if you are very physically fit. The leg elastic is tight and causes bulges. The waist was also higher than I thought it would be. I went up one size, so I suggest going up at least two.

Wore twice and will be returning. The material did not hold up and has become see through.

I just returned the two I bought for a second time. The first two pairs I bought faded in a strange line up the back. The store clerk said that it must have been a bad batch of material and I replaced them with 2 new ones. Within a month and half, they faded in exactly the same place and I returned them a second time. I swim in a municipal pool, rinse them immediately after getting out of the water and they still faded. I would not recommend this blue color if your pool has a lot of chlorine. They fade in a strip up the back and it's very noticeable.

Returned. I tried these in several different sizes and all were loose around the back of the leg. I would have gladly kept one of them as the color was perfect and the rest of it fit.

This product lost its color after being in the pool in Florida after a few days. Disappointed in an LL bean product.

Worn twice. Elastic in waste band does not stay in place. Rolls, is very difficult to repostition.

The elastic waistband twists inside the "casing" and is VERY uncomfortable! NOT acceptable!

Wore these for the first time yesterday and was very disappointed. The elastic in the waist band does not stay flat and in place. It twists constantly and needs to be flattened. Also appears to run large in my opinion. If you are in between sizes order down.

Fits fine EXCEPT for the gaping elastic in the butt area. I will try to add more elastic to remedy the problem but wish you could fix this area, as I see more women have also had the same problem.

These were my go to beach bottoms. Not anymore. Cheaply made. Need to return one because the elastic is nonexisting.

i have worn this bottom three times. The elastic bands twisted and won't lay flat. Poor quality. Where is quality check? Please offer a quality replacement..

This bottom was perfect out of the bag, but.... then I wore it. After one afternoon of splashing around the elastic in the waist band rolled. I was able to straighten it out, but after the second wearing the elastic did not want to be unrolled. This is an issue I've never experienced. It's going back.

I have purchased many products from LL Bean and have always been pleased. This swimsuit bottom snags terribly. The waist band elastic bends, turns and does not stay in place. This product does not live up to what I expect from LL Bean.

There is a very wide waistband and the elastic in the waistband twists and turns when wet. It is impossible to straighten the elastic once this happens and it is very uncomfortable.

I bought these in2 colors as I have tons of suits. After less than a dozen times in our Y pool, the cobalt disintegrated. They were in the pool for about 1 hour, immediately rinsed and then washed later the same day. I'm horribly disappointed and was quite embarrassed when my friend told me they became see through. I'm having the same issues with my tops but they are past the return period. If you're a pool swimmer look elsewhere for suits.

The elastic in the waistband turns and gets twisted. I am going to have return because this bottom is difficult to wear.
