I'm 55 years old--this product fits perfectly--and I feel very comfortable wearing it swimming and walking the beaches.. Covers everything I want covered.. :)

I had purchased another swim bottom like this about 8 years ago and have been awaiting its return ever since. I had worn it at the beach ever since and was just noticing a breakdown of the elastic. We frequent the beach throughout the summer. They are heavier than some swim bottoms which, not only adds support, but also durability. The wider waistband is very comfortable and does not roll. I rarely wore it in pools with clorine.

Very nice. Good fit. Like the coverage as I'm active and use them for swim and kayaking.

I love the wide elastic band at the top of the swim bottoms but i have to sew the elastic band in multiple places to keep the elastic from twisting. I have purchased this swim bottom many times. They are comfortable and stay in place. They would be perfect if i didnt need to tack the elastic band evertime.

A good fit and comfortable, but the waist band has a major crease in that wraps all the way around. I can't for the life of me figure out why it's there - maybe a quality control issue? Anyway, it looks a bit weird. The interior lining flaps a little when diving or jumping into water, but the bottoms stay put.

This brief fit well when I tried it on, but the leg holes did loosen a bit when I was in the water. I purchased a medium, as that is what I normally wear. I don't think a smaller size would take care of this problem without the brief being too small. Otherwise, it is a good product and the color goes well with the top I ordered.

Good quality and fit...I will have to stabilize the elastic waist band to keep it from rolling, but love the comfortable width.

Bottom fits very well and is comfortable. The wasteband did curl up the first time I wore the bottom, which was disappointing.. I was able to straighten it out easly, but that can get annoying. Material is a bit heavier than most other brands and stays wet a long time.

The swim bottom fits great and serves it's intended purpose.

The only concern is the waist band elastic is really wide and doubles over sometimes but otherwise I love the fit and fabric.

I really love the fit of this swim bottom. It's in between a bikini and full cut. I have purchased both colors that you offer (black and blue). It stays down on the leg part, and doesn't ride up at all. It is very difficult to find this size (4), I am extremely pleased to be able to purchase this at Beans. My only complaint is the waist band tends to roll over after a while, and you have to fiddle around trying to straighten it out.

The fit is great with one exception; the elastic band at the waist folds and twists. I dry it flat but that doesn't help. I ordered another one in a different color and it does the same thing. That could use some work.

I already owned a swimsuit that was great for swimming laps. However, at age 73, I''m no longer thrilled with how I look in those streamlined suits when I'm not in the water. I wanted something prettier and more flattering. This was perfect. I bought 3 pieces: the tankini top, and -- in the store -- the skirt bottom. However, I decided that I'd also like a hipster bottom piece, and I had to order that online. All 3 pieces together cost more than I'd intended to spend, but I'm not sorry I bought them. I am very pleased with how the suit looks and fits. However: It is not good for swimming. Both the top and the skirt float up in the water. Here's the solution I came up with when wearing them for the first time on a Florida vacation: To go to the pool I wore the top and both bottoms -- the skirt over the hipster pants. (They are not too bulky.) I lounged around like that. If I decided to swim, I took off the skirt and tucked the top into the bottom. Thet worked well, as there was nothing to float up. (It probably looked dorky, but I decided I didn't care.) Then, when I got out of the water, I untucked the top and put the skirt back on.

I have purchased these bottoms in the past in a different color. Fit great but do wish they would do something about the elastic waste band. It tends to roll. Not sure why they have not addressed this issue as I have noticed that others have mentioned the same issues in their reviews

First "two piece bathing suit" experience. Top fits well and is comfortable. Looks nice and provides good support. Unfortunately, bottom, fits less well. It feels loose, and a bit baggy. I fear it will become even looser with time. Perhaps I should have kept the smaller size. Top is one size smaller than bottom. Together, the suit looks nice. I think my one piece is more comfortable!

I have 2 of these swim bottoms in different colors, in a size 10 and a size 12. (I don't see much difference.) I like the fit of these swim bottoms and I especially like the wide elastic on the top. My little bit of "extra" doesn't bulge over top. However, I gave the 4 star rating because the elastic does have a tendency to twist, which can be annoying AND the fabric does snag somewhat easily. But because I love the fit and the wide elastic which is much more comfortable, I would buy this again.

I found this bottom to be a nice comfy, soft fit - paired with the black tankini top. The fit is not low and just right below naval.

I'm 5'3" and 115 lbs and ordered a size 4. These bottoms are full coverage in the front and back and underneath (if you know what I mean), which I really like. They're also high-waisted, like they look in the picture, which is what I expected and wanted. They come up basically to the top of my belly button. I measured the side seams (of the size 4) at 4 and 3/4 inches. My biggest complaint was that the top band is pretty tight, so it kind of has an unflattering "muffin top"-like effect. But I realized this was partly because I wasn't pulling them up as high as they can go because I didn't want to cover my belly button. Once I pulled them up fully, the tight part sat right at my waist and wasn't nearly as unflattering. So, I guess that's my tip: embrace the high waist and pull them up all the way! But if you're taller or have a different body type, that tight band might be unflattering on you. I guess it's also possible I should've gone up a size, but they otherwise fit perfectly. Other than that, they feel good quality, they're a nice, rich black, and the front half of the inside has a beige lining, which I didn't expect, but isn't bad or anything. I haven't worn them swimming yet, but I'm keeping them!
