I returned these. The length was not long enough to suit me (I prefer about a 9 inch inseam) and the legs were too baggy. I wish they would have worked, as I like an easy fitting bottom to throw on at times. I like drawstring waists for my smallish waist. Other people may like them, however.

These are nice and I do wear them. But the legs have to much material. They should be more tapered.

Didn't realize they were not 100% cotton. Won't wear, I have friends who might. My mistake.

Based on all the positive reviews, I was really looking forward to getting these shorts, but they flared out at the hem and were too long and wide. Had to send them back.

I ordered these shorts at the beginning of July, yet after wearing them for less than two months the stitching at the waist has come undone. Not the quality I'd expect from LL Bean.

They are smaller than a regular sized 16. I'd suggest going up one size when ordering. They washed well, though a bit wrinkly. The pockets could be deeper for my liking. Nice color.

Cotton but very cheap quality. Shorts are already beginning to fray. Waist size is inconsistent.

I wanted shorts I could wear to run and exercise outside and I hate clingy stretchy shorts that fit like tights that are sold as running shorts so I thought I would try regular shorts that were not for running. I ordered a few different styles from LL Bean. For my purposes these were too heavy a fabric. I prefer the Vista shorts because they are so much lighter and have zip pockets.
