Perfect Fit love the elastic waist! Will be ordering a few more!!

I'm 5'6" and 143 lbs. I got a med. They run a little small around the bum but are pretty cute. I usually have that issue with their shorts. They wash well. Can be dressed up or casual.

I originally ordered a womens 18.returned for a regular 18. Womens were too big in crotch; and the 18 was a bit too tight. I loved the material, the colorjust could not get a good fit.

I love these shorts! They fit me absolutely perfectly and they are a great length - not too short and not too long. My rear end isn't sticking out and they are not frumpy long. These wash well and are super comfortable. I really want to thank LL Bean for staying true to size. My measurements are that of a traditional size 2. I have a more narrow frame and have been getting sized out of so many brands over the years where my 2 becomes a 0 or a 00 or xx-small which is ridiculous. Some stores where I have originally bought a 2 or a 4 years ago, now even the smallest size is too big and I've given up. I am grateful to be able to shop here so easily. I will be buying lots more!!

Clothes run a little large. Im usually a sz 6 but I purchased a sz 4 and they are super comfy

Super comfortable for any activity! Wore them for a long road trip hauling and loading livestock in hot weather and they were ideal.

I bought this for my wife. She loves the fit and that it feels very light. Perfect to wear to the beach or just lounging outside on a summer day.

I really like the fit of these shorts! Not loose, but not too fitted. They are a very comfortable, easy wearing pair of shorts. I tried them on when they arrived, then washed and dried. They did not shrink at all. I recommend them!

I LOVE these shorts ... love the washed fabric which is like an old comfy blue work shirt but a little heavier!!! They go with everything and are my new go-to shorts! They are a perfect mid-thigh length, have big front pockets & a flexible drawstring waistband. I ordered a size 20W based on measurements but they were HUGE! Returned them for the 18W and they fit perfect!!!

I love everything about these shorts ... color goes w/ everything, mid-thigh length, big front pockets and adjustable drawstring waist! Great washed-like fabric like a heavier work shirt and have become my everyday go-to shorts!!!

I live in the Southern states. These shorts are a beautiful blue, true to size, comfortably cool to wear in hot humid weather and maintains a nice, fresh appearance. Can dress up or down.

Are not skin tight which I love.They are very comfortable. Wash well.

I live in these shorts. They're a little big. My experience with Bean clothes is that they shrink a bit after a while, so having them a little big is probably a good thing. I like the length.

I love the chambray dock short. They look nice.The short is comfortable, light, but the material is substantial. The length of these shorts are good. Not too short, not too long. Loose fit in leg, not tight, but not too baggy. The only thing that would make this short better, in my opinion, is if you offered this style with a slightly higher waist..

Comfortable, very figure and leg flattering and they go with anything from a t-shirt to a sweater. Got all 3 colors, wish there were more!!

These shorts fit well, wash well, easy to pull on, look good. Great to wear to P.T. since knee surgery.
