I've purchased several pairs. Although I'm short I ordered the regular length. So they fit like pants, not ankle-pants. They have a weird cut. For everyday wear they are fine but when I climb stairs or hike on an upward slope they pull near the crotch.

Nice to have pull-up's but these had an uncomfortable feel of being cut too small. Purchased two colors with the same experience with both.

I wanted to love these pants, but they had a weird, bunchy look in the front.

Not as happy with the color as I thought I would be. Pants are a bit too green for my taste. A softer green like soft moss green would be great.

This is ok pants on me. I am short so it isn't quite an ankle pant, might be why the pockets on the backside look a little weird. I normally like mid rise pants but for some reason these keep sliding down no matter how much I cinch the the ties.

Nice fabric and well made but just a bit too short in the rise to be comfortable

I am confused on sizes of late. Ordered same size as last pants, but these were rather full in the hips and overall large. Replacement order with a different pant.

I like that the pants are chino and are and are ankle length. I think I bought the wrong size-- an 8P -- when I usually wear an LL Bean regular 6. So the seat of the pants is a bit balloony and the rise is a bit short for me. I will still wear them because they do not wrinkle and look fresh.

The pant is 100% cotton so I have not put it in the dryer for fear of shrinkage. Air drying is fine but the pant requires ironing. I failed to check the fabric content when purchasing.

I'll be returning these. Too low in the rise and too large in the waist.

Great color (nutmeg), sturdy fabric, love the 4 pockets. BUT I ordered the Tall and the inseam was only 28" -- I didn't catch it before washing because I tried on the other slacks in the same order, which were fine, and assumed LLBean quality for the rest of them. Grrr.

I was looking for travel pants this summer to Europe, and these certainly fit the bill. I loved the blue color, the style, and the fabric. Unfortunately, they fit smaller than I envisioned, and I didn't wanna bother with sizing up with another shipment.

Ask me again in about 3 months. I live near San Diego so I haven't worn them yet, I'm still wearing LLBean lakewashed shorts, which I love. But I've lost 30 pounds and about 2 sizes, so I'm slowly acquiring long pants getting ready for winter. These pants fit well, look good, and I look forward to enjoying them, starting in November. My 3 stars is being non-committal for now.

I keep hoping for a softer fabric from the pants that I order; I washed them hoping they would soften a bit but no such luck; maybe over time. When washed they "tighten up" a bit at the seams also so the fit adjusts. (I did try them on pre-wash as well).

They are made for someone with much slimmer legs than mine!

For me, it was too small through the waist and hips and the pockets were sticking out. Order one or two sizes up but then u might have to have them shortened.

I did keep these pants because they are comfortable enough and the fabric is so, so nice! But the cut in the legs is just a little too narrow - they catch at the calf and at the knees when sitting down, which pulls down in the seat. I have to guard against a plumbers crack!

I'm disappointed! They are too short even though I'm only 4' 11" and they don't come out of the wash unwrinkled.

Good fabric and are stitched well. Should hold up for many wears and washes. Color is a great summer neutral. Just be careful in sizing, I feel the cut runs a little more narrow than other pants from beans.

Overall the fit was fairly true to size, maybe a little too big in waist, but the calf was very tight. Uncomfortably tight, so I am returning. I can't order a size up because they would be much too big overall. I am heavy in the butt and legs with a much smaller waist and I loved the style and color, so this is a disappointment.

I actually wanted to give these a 5 star review. I tried them on today, even after exchanging for a smaller size, the same problem exists. There is way too much ballooning fabric around the hips and butt. Ordinarly, I would alter this situation but these have french seams and it's beyond my expertise to alter them. I am so very disappointed as I have been on the search for twill pants for a long time. I really like them but I am afraid I am going to have to send them back. These actually are 5 star pants but for that inconsistant fit.

I had expected a lighter weight fabric. These will work ok but not as cool as I'd thought they would be.
