These were a gift to me. Just found out they were actually passed through a few people before I got them. Brand new never worn with tags on. First wash draw string unraveled and string knotted around different items in wash. Tried calling customer service and gave them information of person who gave them to me. Could not find anything in system. Could not help me unless I had the correct information of who bought them. Called the person who I thought purchased them to find out she got them from a friend who got them from a family member who bought them. Needless to say I do not have information and I am not going to chase around to get the information. I can still wear the pants and I did not spend any money for them. I have already wasted enough time on this. Just wanted people to know.

It does not appear to be designed for people. The rise is so long, gobs of fabric bunch between the legs. The fabric is very uncomfortable and makes a lot of "noise". Typical of Bean clothes in recent times, you can never tell what size will fit in a given item.

0versized for an xl, I kept having to tighten waist. I don't think they are supposed to be fitted by any means, they just fit like a 16 or 18. Which should not have caused the material to rip on the backside. Thank goodness I had black underwear on, no telling how long I walked around with a 3 inch rip.. . not the seam, the material square in the middle of left cheek! $70 for this? Come on LL.

I had to return these pants. The fabric had no "give". If I bent over, the pants had to be pulled up at the waist.

These are not slim fit as advertised nor are they capris. I am 5'4" and they came to my ankles.

I really wanted to like these pants but unfortunately that wasn't the case. I ordered two sizes, one 8 and one 10. The 8 was a tad too snug in the crotch and the 10 too baggy, so they went back. I have noticed in LLBean bottoms, jeans specifically, that one size is too small, the other too big. Could it be LLBean is trying to market a younger crowd? If so, read the comments, a lot are from women in mid-40's on up are the group buying LLBean clothing. Generally speaking, this group does not have a 20 something shape anymore. Even in t-shirts, Medium is a tad snug, and Large is too loose.

Sizing did not compare to other LLBean pants. I returned both pairs immediately.

I was so hoping these would work out for me but the fit is really odd. They are at least 2 inches shorter in the back waist than the front. I first ordered an 1X but those were huge so I ordered a petite XL. They fit well except for the weird back waist m.

Lousy fit, I should have realized that "fits lower on hip" means skimpy fit, especially when sitting down. Will not order pants from you.

Really wanted to like these. I like the fabric, the color, the length of the capris BUT I hate where they sit on my hips well below the waist. They keep falling down no matter how much I retie the drawstring. It's very annoying especially if you put anything in the pockets like a phone, it's soon banging your leg. LL Bean used to have plenty of different styles in pants that sit at your waist. I know, I have a closet full but many of the latest ones are simply not comfortable to go for a long walk or hike.

These pants did not fit well at all and were uncomfortable particularly around the waist as they did not come up to the waist but below it.

I found the pants material to be very wrinkled and it was very hard to get the wrinkles ironed out . And as soon as you sat down the pants were full of wrinkles again. This material is not good at all for normal wearing. They were definitely not worth the high price! Wish I could return them, but I had to wash them because of the bad warehouse smell.

Did not like fit. Pants felt that they were pulling down with each step that I took.
I did not realize that the rise was below the waist, I am not comfortable with pants unless they sit at the waist.

I was disappointed that these pants were so baggy all over. I ordered my usual 6 regular size, but these won't work at all. If the legs were more tapered and there wasn't so much cloth everywhere....well, not for me. Bummer.

I ordered my normal size I always buy in jeans. These pants looked great for 2 hours... then stretched out and became wide and baggy at the hips. When I walked up stairs or sat down the back waist band pulled down. It felt like they were on backwards, and the fabric is heavy and thick.
Not at all what they were advertised to be.

I had hoped these would be a good alternative to the Vista Camp Pants (great pants but the the fabric pills) but they are not. Too loose in the waist, too snug in the hips, stiff fabric, and the front pockets pouch out. These will be returned. Too bad because they look great!

The waist band is very wide and thick and heavy. The material overall is very , very heavy for a capris. I bought a light-weight, elastic waist, nylon capris 6-8 years ago and they are PERFECT for gardening or when you wanted a bit more coverage than shorts provided.....THESE ARE NOT THOSE PANTS!!!!!!

Too short in the rise. This was a surprise since I normally order petite sizes. I suspect the fact it was made in Sri Lanka has a lot to do with it. Too bad.
