These pants were very long. I wouldn't have classified them as capris.

The legs are a bit tapered so the fabric pulled at the front thigh. It was uncomfortable for me so I returned them. Otherwise nice looking. My full length pair has worn well for years.

I don't like the fabric - it's one of the "noisy" sorts that experience suggests will stay that way. Also don't care for the lower waistline in this product, even though I like it in others. Sadly, will be returned.

Just didn't like the way they looked on me. Quality was fine, but.....

The waist is too low. Fits well until you sit down. Too low cut. Does not cover your back when you sit down.

They fit great until you sit down. Then they don't cover much.

Fabric is nice, but the sizing is too roomy, the front pocket design all wrong. The pockets gap out therefore giving the impression the torso area is bigger than it really is. That does make these capris more comfortable though. I take a petite medium and wish I had exchanged these for a small to see how they would fit.

No one seems to make pants for people who are high-waisted. Long rise does NOT mean where it hits your waist, it means that the distance from the waist, front to back, is longer than for regular sizes. Once upon a time, you could find long rise pants but no more. Sad.

I was very disappointed that these capris were so baggy through hips and thigh plus the fabric was a bit stiff for me. The pockets pouched out and open when l bent or sat down.
Sadly I have returned this pair of capris. I have been very happy with other LLBean pants and capris.

I'm disappointed that they show wrinkles so quickly. I want to look nice longer than 1 day. Also, the elastic at the waist should be tighter or stronger. I keep having to pull my pants up!
I wish it was a truer blue.

Material is great,
Very comfortable but waaay to large, even after washing and drying. These need to be re-sized or I suggest order 2 sizes down.

Material heavier than expected having purchased many previous ripstop versions of shorts pants skirts years ago. These are very baggy while back slides down at same time. More material in front rise than butt. I kept pants and capris for hanging out but couldn't wear them out anywhere. Bring back previous rollup pants. Great for travel as 3 season and quick drying, cool in summer. Disappointed in new version

These pants are very comfortable and well made. However, they need to be an inch or two longer. I am five foot 6 inches and they hit mid calf. Would much prefer a slightly longer length. Will keep them for leisure use.

Bought these for spring/summer. Weather here in NJ still too cold. Will wear when weather is appropriate. Hope LL Bean quality holds up--have always been satisfied in the past w/my purchases

These pants are really comfortable and I love the material. That being said, they start creeping down as soon as I put them on. No matter how tight I tie the drawstring, within five minutes, they are falling down. As others have commented, perhaps the waist needs to be higher. I have a pair of the shorts and they stay up, maybe because they have less fabric in the legs weighing them down. I like these pants, but don't like constantly pulling them up!

I like that the fabric has a little texture, and is mostly cotton, so not overly stretchy. Unfortunately, they are designed to sit on the hips which necessitates pulling them up occasionally unless the draw string is pulled very tight. Clothing designers are in love with stretchy hip huggers, and they just ignore the fact that stretchy fabrics want to revert to their ground state (unstretched form) and will creep up or down to achieve it. If you read reviews, you see lots of complaints about this phenomenon with yoga pants and stretchy jeans that also sit on the hips (i.e., they feel like they're falling down). For that reason these would be perfect if the stretchy band fit closer to the waist instead of the hips. Even so, they look polished enough with an untucked shirt that I ordered 2 more pairs. I usually wear a size 16 in Bean jeans and the size Large fits well.

I bought these mainly for the high cotton content thinking it would be cooler than nylon ripstop. It has very little stretch, however, which is a downside for me. The pants are well made, and the fa bric very sturdy. There is more bulk and heaviness to the fabric around the middle than I would like. Also, I prefer a pant that sits at the waist rather than below. I would not be tempted to buy these again, and almost returned them because of the drawbacks.

These capris are real light weight and cool for the summer. But, I can't keep them up! They need to have some belt loops for a belt. So, I just wear them around the house...

I bought these looking for comfortable, cool, summer pants to wear hiking & gardening. They fit the bill, but ultimately I returned them & got the Sun Washed Canvas Cropped Pants instead.
The fabric is odd, soft, very lightweight with some stretch. I was unsure how it would wear. My biggest concern was the stretchy elastic drawstring. Brand new it held the pants up, but overtime I can't imagine it would hold up. If the price was less I probably would have kept them and if they go on sale I may buy a pair. The fabric intreges me. It could be great but at full price I was too worried I might be throwing money away on desposible pants and I love the Sun Washed Canvas Cropped Pants I bought instead.

Pants had no give and are uncomfortable. Pockets are shallow so my phone kept falling out.

Very disappointed in these pants. I ordered petite XL in navy and they fit perfectly! Ordered petite XL in the dark taupe because I loved them so much and they are more like a size small. I ordered these pants 2 weeks apart so I didn't gain any weight. Very inconsistent sizing!

If I'd read reviews, I would have realized that my correct size would be misses medium, not petite medium as in Bean relaxed fit pants. I like the fabric. But I'm returning rather than exchanging these primarily because of the useless front pocket; as another reviewer noted, anything in it would fall out. Thank you, LLB, for asking height and weight of reviewers; this is very helpful!

I am disappointed in these because they are way too big and I look like a sack of potatoes in them. They are very good quality, but I'll only be wearing them aroundnthe house.

The material is lightweight, and the waistband very comfortable. However, the pants didn't fit my 55-year old pear shape. The waist fit fine -maybe a bit large - and the drawstring allows for a custom fit, however the pants were too tight around my calves. The best fit is obviously for women with smaller calves than I have! For comparison, the LL Bean Easy Stretch cropped pants fit me well (although my ideal size in those pants would be between a 12 and a 14). I am hoping to find a similar fit in a lightweight pant.

The fit is pretty loose in in the waist and hips. The Dark Taupe color is really more of a dark gray-green, with none of the brown undertones you'd expect with taupe.
