these are too tight below knee, other than that the fit is great and fabric nice

I have an older pair of these, and the new pair that I just got is just not working. The fabric doesn't feel like cotton, and I wonder if it will be breathable. The worst change is the "mid-rise" which is way too low, especially in the back, as the capris gap in the back. LL Bean, do you think your main customers are 20 or 30 somethings that like the mid-rise feel? This older customer does not! Please bring back the old fit, that is not quite so low-rise!

I love these pants...but I usually wear size 2. This was marked XS and they were much too large.

Size Lg regular in dark taupe fit perfectly but same size in sandbar was too small (waist fit fine but pant legs were shorter & tighter). Returning sandbar color capris.

I purchased these pants hoping they'd be a perfect fit for my body type. They fit slightly below the waist and for me put too much emphasis on my backside. I prefer a fit that's a little bit looser in the buttocks area. I ordered a L Regular, which in years past would fit me perfectly, it just seems as others have said, LLBean has changed their sizing and I now find myself returning items purchased which I don't like to do, these will be returned and exchanged for another style pant.

The inconsistent sizing of the ripstop pants is ridiculous. I have purchased 5 pairs of various types - pants, joggers, and lastly capris - all in small. The sizing inconsistency in the pants and joggers was annoying, but I like everything else about the pants and some fit fine, so I ordered some capris. The capris are deal breakers. They are two inches larger in the waist than the joggers. This is ridiculous considering their price. LLBean used to be reliable, but no more.

I would have to wear a tunic top or keep my shirt to tucked in to wear these capri pants or my butt crack would show. Not sure why this waistband was made this way. Sorry I have to return them.

After buying several pair of the Vista pants, I had high hopes for these Ripstop pants, however I won't be able to wear them. I have a long rise and I hoped these would just sit below my waist but they just won't stay up. Even when I see pants identified as high-rise, they really don't address the fit for people like me. I'd love to find a pair of true long-rise pants.

I had high hopes for the pants. Tough ripstop fabric with some stretchwho could ask for more. Well, you can ask that they fit and are attractive. These pants are fitted through the leg and baggy through the hips. The side pockets, made of stiff fabric, tend to stick out and ruin the line of the hips. Also, the size of the pants was not consistent. So were larger than others. A big disappointment.

The fit, design, roomy pockets -- everything about these pants is perfect -- except that the fabric feels like a plastic tarp -- not an exaggeration. I have other ripstop items - this fabric is nothing like those. Stiff, rough, resistant to being smoothed out after laundering -- unpleasant to the touch. Disappointing at any price.

Had to return. Waist is way oversized compared to hips maybe good for apple-shaped people, but no good for pears. Also pockets were tiny. No point in having them if they aren't big enough to hold anything.

I have never had pants from Bean. They are STIFF no matter how many washings or softner is applied. They do not fit properly around the knees, Feels like you are pulling them off.

Love the capri camp pants and wear them frequently. I was looking for similar in sturdier fabric, a tiny bit less casual. Looks had it all, very sturdy, cute even, but I ordered large and they were huge, returned for medium. They were a bit roomy, but seemed like they would be workable.
The legs are wider than I wanted and low rise .I washed, no dryer, needed major touch up with iron. Then wore the next day - every step I took they got roomier and roomier until they felt like and looked like "clown pants". Washed and dried in drier, no iron needed, but they behaved the same - bigger and bigger until they once again looked ridiculous. Washed again and will return. They have one snap at bottom of each leg to make narrower, but still very wide. The pockets are rather shallow, can't carry anything important in them, no snaps or zippers. They look big and messy all the time. I like casual, but still like to look neat and be organized, which is impossible with these pants. Can not recommend. I am 4' 11", live in South Shore area of MA.

Because of my height, from my waist to the top of my legs, it did not fit right well. Loved the color and texture.sorry I had to return it!

I ordered my regular size but found it too large so I reordered a medium which fits perfectly. I love the easy care fabric.

These capris are made out of nice heavy material, but you will need to size down 1-2 sizes. XS Petite fits more like a regular small to medium.

I bought these and they are way too big and long. If I had left them at my waist they would fit as regular pants in the length, I had to pull all the way up to just below my chest to get them to look like crop or capris. Very disappointed now because I went online to get a smaller size and sold out. I wish they would have said they fit bigger I would have gone down a size at the time of ordering.

So unhappy with these capris. Cost way too much for quality of item. I put up with the fact that I have to iron them after washing, but now today, after I washed them, the tie string wrapped up on itself within the waste band so I can't fix it. Even when I iron the tie, it continues to twist on itself. Something has gone amiss with LL Bean quality. I want to order a shirt as a gift next month and now I'm reluctant to take a chance given this experience.

Well made pants but fabric wrinkles and the fit is poor. I typically wear 1X but these pants in that size swallow me up. Not flattering at all.

Fits well while I'm standing up, but when I sit down or use steps, my bent knee causes the back waist to slip down. Not ideal for hiking!

They do not fit well. Bunched up in front and back crotch area. I usually wear a six 6 and they were huge.

Probably good pants but leg width is too narrow. Waist fit is good.
