I can't believe how comfortable these are! The 6" inseam is perfect. I wear these over my swimsuit in the pool. I have to get another pair!

My mum says, "You get what you pay for!" and she's right when it comes to these shorts. They seem expensive at first, but they pay for themselves in the long run. You're going to LOVE this garment for decades. First, they're a classic. They will never go out of style. Second, they are the most comfortable shorts I have ever worn. I'm pretty much at my heaviest right now, up to a size M from a S, and these shorts don't bind, cut or squeeze anywhere. They're light as air and they pair beautifully with casual camp t-shirts or more "citified" garments for errands and brunch. They're great with sneakers and perfect with hiking boots. You will NEVER regret this purchase. I love them so much that I bought them in another colour (all the colours in this model are classics) and I even bought the pants in the same series...and THEY are just as awesome!

These shorts are fantastic. I followed other reviewers advice and ordered a size down. In August I wore these shorts in both Washingtons. One week in Washington DC walking every day, and one week in Washington state hiking. These shorts did great in both situations, no pilling and no hiking up. I did not put them in the dryer, but hung dry overnight.

These are absolutely the best shorts I've bought in years. They are super comfortable, pull on and off easily, and hold up well. Because I'm 5'4" they come longer on me than they might on you, but I like the length just below mid-knee. I wear them on long road trips as well as around the house and they work great for both. A bit of advice re washing and drying - pull them out of the dryer when they are barely dry. If they sit in the dryer too long they will wrinkle, although the wrinkles will fall out with wear. The long pant in this style is also terrific.

Better than expected. Amazing quick dry shorts with pockets. Around the pool in the world who could ask for more. I have ordered them in another color. They wash it beautifully and come out of the dryer like new.

I almost didn't want to like these shorts because they are so pricy even at 25% off, but love love LOVE them! The fabric feels so nice, it is a flattering cut and even the pockets are perfect (super rare nowadays in women's clothing). I just ordered another pair in a different color. :)

I do a lot of hiking in Arizona - hot and dry climate. I want comfort, no sweating, no riding up, and these shorts provide all of the above. Perfect fit, wash up great, durable, cell phone friendly, lightweight and cool. I have them in 3 colors to go through the 9 months of heat in Arizona. Highly recommend them!

Roomy yet not flouncy. Love that both front pockets can zip closed so things don't fall out. Comfortable for hiking, walking, and enjoying the beach!

Love, these shorts! Being 5'2" in need a shorter length - these are perfect. Plus, being a larger shape, I purchased the large and they fit perfectly. These are my go-to shorts for the very warm North Carolina weather. I can't imagine wearing any of my other shorts now and definitely prefer these. More colors please!

I was looking for plain old pull on denim shorts, but they weren't available anymore. Then I saw these and thought, what the heck? why not try them out? They are excellent. Very comfortable, light weight, durable, easy wash/dry, love the pockets. I wear them on my daily walks, but they look good enough to wear anywhere.

I own four pairs of the Vista camp pants, so getting the shorts was a no-brainer. They are not quite long enough to have all the pockets that the pants have, but they are super comfy and still have 4 pockets. Love them.

These are comfortable relaxed shorts. Easy to pack and great in warm humid weather.

These shorts are wonderful. Not too tight and not too loose. I love that they don't ride up while walking (a plus for those of us who are a little larger in the hips and thighs.) Nice, roomy front pockets are zippered to keep valuables in place. I recently bought several pairs to wear on my trip to Disney World.

These are my Go To Shorts! I've ditched all my heavier shorts. So comfortable with a stretchy waist and lightweight material. I'm usually a size 6 or 8 pants. I bought size small. I bought 2 pairs last year to use on trips. They always look nice after many many washes. This year I bought 3 more pairs. I was worried they would stop making them.

I already had the similar pants, which I love. My only recommendation would be to size down. I bought the medium and need to double over the waistband to fit snugly enough. I am never a small so did not consider ordering a small but would in the future.

I love these shorts for hiking, walking and outdoor chores. They are lightweight and loose enough in the leg to make them super comfy. I like the deep, zippered front pockets: perfect for keys, cell phone, etc.

These shorts are great for active people in hot weather. The lightweight material is comfortable and easy to move around in. Also, they dry quickly if you do get them wet. I love these shorts so much I bought a second pair.

I have a high waist, making it difficult to find pants and shorts that are comfortable. I bought three of the "pant" version of these shorts, and my husband suggested trying the shorts. I love them because they are comfortable, while also being light weight, quick drying, and good looking.

Bought the Vista cropped pants and tried the shorts. They are the same fit as the pants but the length is very wearable and comfortable for a women of 66. The fit is comfortable and waist is adjustable. They wick the sweat in these tough summers and have become my staple shorts. More colors please . Great for traveling and at home.

These shorts are great! Very comfortable and cool in the hot Florida weather. I'll be ordering other colors.

I've been buying Bean products for decades. The Vista Camp shorts, cutoffs, and pants are my all-time favorites! The fit is not too tight or loose, the waist is sooo comfy, and the material light and easy to pack and maintain. I have several in different colors and lengths and find myself always reaching for these pants first--and last.
