Love these shorts. Fit is comfortable, lightweight, and attractive. Neither too long or too short.

I've worn these shorts several times since my purchase and absolutely love them. I have had the Vista Camp pants for a few years and like them so much I decided to get the shorts. They run a bit large, as I typically wear size small but got x-small because I had the same issue when I bought the pants. The zippered pockets are great for securing small items and the back pocket is large enough to carry a phone. They are by far, the most comfortable shorts I have ever owned with light weight fabric, quick dry and stretch waist band. They also wash and dry perfectly, although I never put them in the dryer. I have already recommended these to a friend and would buy them again if I needed more shorts!

I love these shorts. I had purchased the pants and capris in the fall that are in the same style family, so I figured I would like the shorts too. I do! They are super comfy and look great too.

Love the Vista Camp shorts! I already had a pair of the black Vista Camp pants, which I have worn ALOT because they are so versatile and attractive: comfortable, dress up or down, easy wash and quick dry. So, the shorts were a natural to purchase! A hesitation was that I am 67 years old, and concerned they might be too "short" for my age stage, but they drape and hang beautifully, I'm in good shape, so why not? Thank you for making such wonderful clothes for all age groups and body types!

I was very pleased with the shorts and will likely buy another pair. The wide waistband is very comfortable and pockets are deep enough to carry a cell phone. I also like the drape of the shorts which I think is a result of the wider waisteband. The material is nice and light weight for those hot summer days.

I ordered the green and navy shorts in large. LLBean sizes generously and the fit was perfect. The colors were as pictured. I love the zipper pockets although I usually keep one unzipped with my phone inside. I bought the shorts for casual wear but they look so nice I wear them to town or to visit with friends. The material feels sturdy but is light and cool for hot weather days.

This may be the first online review I have ever done! I wanted shorts that were comfortable for an 11 hour car trip that also had style! These don't look like "mom shorts". They are incredible comfortable, loose fitting but not baggy, breathable, and they look cute. I highly recommend. They are super comfy for hiking and doing yard work too.

I love these shorts, especially in the summer. They are cool, dry very quickly, have four pockets and are overall my favorite shorts. I have four pair and wear them everyday in the summer.

love these shorts; so light and comfortable and the drawstring waist allowed me to adjust smaller; pleasantly surprised by the hidden, zippered front pockets. have a nice sporty look, that I love and fits my lifestyle. the fabric is perfect. will definitely order in another color.

I absolutely love these shorts. As a matter of fact I'm about to order a second pair. I do a lot of walking and hiking and was looking for lightweight, comfortable shorts with ample pockets. These fit the bill. I also love the fact that the two front pockets have zippers so it keeps things like keys safe even when you have to, you know ... in the woods. They are just a little shorter than many of the other shorts they carry (more like a 6" in-seam), which I definitely also find a big plus! One word of advice: I ordered the medium originally and ended up exchanging it for a small. The shorts definitely run big .. so order a size smaller than you normally would. (5'4" and 133 lbs.).

I'm in my late 40's and don't wear shorts often. These are the exception. I'm normally a size 8, 10 or 12 depending upon the brand/cut. Size medium worked well. Very lightweight material which is great for hot days. Wore these hiking and they provided good mobility. I recommend washing and hanging dry.

The fabric dries quickly and is durable. I especially like the zippered pockets and elasticized drawstring waist.

I am in love with these shorts! I generally wear a size large in most brands however after reading some reviews I tried both the Medium and Large and the Medium was a better fit, keep in mind I am curvy as well. I first purchased these in the charcoal color and then immediately the green and black. I want to wear these everywhere, they don't ride up, they dry super quickly and just look great. Telling everyone I know about these and hope L.L. Bean makes more colors!

Living in Arizona you can never have enough shorts. These shorts are perfect....no wrinkles, very comfortable and a good length for us older women. Might have to go back and purchase another pair.

Bought 2 pairs of these shorts for a hiking trip to Acadia. Though the weather wasn't as warm as I thought it would be and I didn't weather them hiking....I love these shorts. They are so comfortable and I can dress them up or down. They are great for working from home in this current enviornment as well as going out and about the town.

I bought these for a multiple of purposes. They are shorter than I normally wear, but I wanted them for kayacking , beachwear, gardening, even lounging. They are really nice quality, fit and color. Love the pockets. Very happy.

These are perfection! I liked the pair in blue so much that I went back and ordered another pair in black!

At first the shorts felt a little big but thanks to Rona and cancer treatment I gained a little weight and they fit great. They are a perfect length and I love the material they are made of. I will certainly buy more next summer

I have several different types of LLBean shorts and these are the most comfortable by far! True to size, nice and cool in the summer heat, and cute too!

I am short and thick waisted/small butt and thighs and my weight is up this summer. Unfortunately I did not stock up on larger sizes when I bought several pairs of Lucy shorts and pants a couple of years ago. And now Lucy is gone. So I went looking for the yoga pant style waist and deep front pockets and lightweight woven stretch fabric that I love...and LL Bean comes darn close with this product. I am very happy with how these fit, even though Bean usually sells clothes for ladies who have larger hips than I do. And happy with how they feel in Chicago's hot and humid summer.

I've been on a bit of a quest to find the perfect shorts. I wanted something comfortable, durable, not too short, but not so long that they didn't look feminine. These are perfect! The length is just right, they're flattering, comfortable and practical. The pockets are a great bonus. The material is lightweight but doesn't seem flimsy. I'm typically a size 14/xl but ordered a large in these and they fit perfectly.

My favorite shorts ever. I have 2 pair. Love that the fabric is lightweight and stretchy. The best part is there is no pilling of the fabric. Every other pants I have with this fabric have pilled ie little raised nubs. Thank you LL Bean! I hope this fabric will be available in capris and pants length!

Cool,comfy and perfect for walking or any exercise video inside during the pandemic. Need more colors!!
