I love the material of the pants, but it shriveled/crimped/balled together on the outside of each leg around the top of my mid-calf boots. The boots are not tight at all, and the shriveling didn't happen on the insides of the legs. Other than that, the pants are very light, very breathable and comfortable to wear.

Basic camp pants are ok but are rather shapeless once washed

Pant material is nice and light. Pockets are shallow and do not fit a phone. Elastic ties at ankle don't have a button or anything else to fasten to. I tried to knot it but had difficulty untying it. I'm returning them.

I bought 2 long pair and one capri length. I only wore the navy long pants and the capris. They snagged and got nubbies on them. They are comfortable and lightweight. I will be taking the two I washed back. These pants are not inexpensive and are llbean. I expect better quality.

These pants should be good however they pilled after one washing. ONE WASHING! Pretty bad. Also although the waistband is comfortable it takes forever to dry. Not what I want in a hiking pant.

The second time I wore these I noticed the stitching coming out on both thighs. These were only walked in.

These pants are really comfortable, and so nice for summer outdoor activities. These pants are a replacement for a pair that I had purchased last year. Because the fabric started pilling after only a year, I can only give them a 3 star rating. LL Bean Customer Service, however, gets 5 stars for replacing them!

The pants fit nicely. Fabric feels a little "slimy". My main complaint is that the color is way off. "Toasted Almond" is a yucky olive green color, not like the picture at all. They will need to be returned unless I can think of a way to make that color work with my limited travel wardrobe. Sorry.

Purchased for my wife, who would really have liked to have more sturdy cotton denim, but settle for these because all the denim jeans were tight fitting where the likes looser, more comfortable pants. So, eh ! OK, but missed a home run by a mile.

I wish the pockets on the legs were deep were enough to carry a phone. That's why I bought the pants. It is not easy to find women's pants that have pockets on the legs. There are many instances when I prefer not to carry a backpack or purse or wear a belt pack, but I need to stow my phone in a secure place. Leg pockets are my preference. The fit is true to size and the fabric is nice and lightweight. But the main feature I was looking forward to isn't there.

I have the vista camp pants in capris and full length with the drawstring. This model is a nice change with the straight legs, but they're made slightly short, perhaps ankle length. I still like them, though. One major problem with this fabric is pilling and snagging, so you have to be careful where you wear them.

I have 4 other pairs of this type of pants. The medium is cut bigger than my others.

The pants are comfy but too long. I do like that I can pull the tag at the hem and not have a flare.

The strings at waist are stretchy, so don't hold the waist in properly. The strings at the leg are also a material that shreds on velcro of my sandals. The lower pocket is not big enough for the cell phone, and the upper pocket also not well placed for it.

Nice feel. Very comfortable just not flattering on my 60 year old body. The fabric shows every little lump and bump on my chubby thighs. Had to return.

These run large. They are comfortable. They have a draw string at the bottom of pant leg that can get caught on shrubs and outdoor items so caution is advised when hiking.

These are comfortable and versatile pants--my second pair. I ordered Raisin Brown though and the pants are purple. I thought I'd get used to the color but I would have preferred the dark brown. I should have sent them back but decided to keep them.

What is the point of using a drawstring that is stretchier than the pants fabric, so when you pull it tight it hangs down to your knees? Please LL Bean, give us a drawstring that doesn't stretch and isn't made of a slippery nylon.

These pants fit fantastically and they feel and look great. All the pockets are useful. Unfortunately after less than a year of regular wear to walk the dog the fabric is pilling between the thighs and where my jacket rubs in the back. Also there are a few snags on the legs. For the price I am disappointed in how the fabric has held up.

The xs is still too large for someone wearing a size 2. The pants are comfy even if too large

I keep buying these pants because of their lightness; however, the fabric, while light, is very poor because it "pills" all the time. I have two questions: 1) Why is it still being manufactured even though its quality is so bad, and, 2) what's wrong with me that I keep buying them when the pilling gets so bad that I repurchase them? I have no answers for either. Oh! And they are so expensive for their lack of durability, too.

Comfy functional fabric but very high waisted fit. Zippered pockets aren't deep enough and the side leg pockets are so small they're basically useless. Credit card and ID fit, phone does not.

Love the feel and fit of these. Unfortunately they pick and the threads pull after a few wears. I have two pair and both readily damaged..For the price they should be more sturdy.

The pants are very comfortable, but are incredibly thin and pill after just a few wears. These are great for wearing once or twice but not for consistent use.

Love the style, they are lightweight easy to pack and travel in with all the pockets but they snag and pill so fast can't wear in public after a few times of wear. The shorts are the same way.
