Pants are extremely comfortable and look good. I think that I may have purchased a size too big but still really wonderful.

Absolutely love these pants. I wear them every morning when I walk and to stretching/exercise class. Comfortable and light weight to wear in warm weather. The petite length is perfect for me. The seam above the knee is not bothersome at all. I like all the pockets. I can keep my keys and phone in the zipped pockets. Will buy another pair. Highly recommend.

These pants are so cool and comfortable for outdoor activities as well as being attractive for running errands. I loved the green pair so much, I ordered the black pair a week later.

I love the Vista camp pants, and have purchased them in navy, green, black and grey. Very cool on a warm day and full coverage on a cool day. Lots of pockets and zippers. Never been camping in my life, so they are not only for campers!! Perfect for an active person with a full day schedule from am to pm because so adaptable. I have started out with early appointment in Manhattan and finished with a two mile walk at home after dinner and they served all day. Fit is great with elastic waistband that doesn't bind. Great item!

These are very lightweight yet have been hardy. The seems all seem to have quality stitching. None of that has failed. The capris just hang lightly around the body and offer maximum cooling. They have cargo pockets on each leg. I can't figure out why more pants aren't made that way. Who doesn't want their phone on them? Even my grocery list is on my phone so it's in and out of my pants pockets over and over when I shop. This pocket was made to be cute, it seems, as it has a button flap over the top. Also, it's not quite deep enough to put an iphone 6 into with the cover closed. That means my right pocket flap is never buttoned, phone in or out, because I want ready access to it. There are a few ladies pants out there that have cargo pockets (OK, cell pockets) but so many of them are yoga-style pants. Who wants their cell pasted to their leg? Never been able to figure that out! And in the heat, who wants anything pasted to their skin? So I'm grateful for the overall cut of these and the cell pockets but think the pockets would be improved by making them deeper. The waistband on these is very "forgiving", making the tie string necessary. I actually prefer a tighter waist because I don't like messing with tie strings. These are probably the only pants I have that I haven't cut the tie strings to. But for dealing with heat, and overall functionality and airiness, these are the top choice for me so I bought three capris and a pair of full-length pants. I like black for its versatility but also bought a pair in the dark gray. Kudos to LLBean on the gray choice because it's dark enough to be carefree and functional ~ not one of those things you have to watch constantly to see if a bit of something got on it, causing the need for an emergency clothing change.

These are my summer go-to-town pants. Great for travel. Look nice. I have two pairs, will add another. When they age a bit, they will become hiking pants. Wash up nicely, o iron.

I like these pants so much I have them in every color they make and 2 of some. They are so comfortable that I bought my daughter the pants, crops and shorts in this fabric, then I took my neighbor to the LL Bean store to try them on and she now has 3 pairs. They take up no room in a suitcase and add no weight. Great for travel, hiking, zip lining and any other adventure you can think of because they are cool, well made and can be adjusted at the bottom for length. Love these pants!

I ordered these first in size medium, too big for my frame so I exchanged them for size small. Still too long! I had an on-line and phone chat with Tina. She suggested that I try the small petite. Perfect!!! The fabric is so soft and very comfortable. I found the sizing chart not correct for my needs. I used it originally but obviously it did not work out. Otherwise, great item!

I have always been too large to wear this type of pant. Never could find one to fit well. I recently took a vacation to Acadia National Park and took three pair of these pants with me. They are wonderful. I hiked in the park and walked in the city and I love these pants. I also Loved the company store in Maine. I wish there was one in Nashville.

I am not often inspired to write a review, but this product is worth my time. I started out with one pair of the Camp Vista pants and was so impressed that I now have one of each color. They are light, well made, comfortable, quick drying and stylish. I love the expandable waist since my middle section isn't exactly slim while the rest of me is ! Elastic in the cuffs would be an improvement, but I tied them off and that seems to work for me. All in all....they are my favorite pants and I hope they last a long time.

I love these pants! I bought 3 pair of the long and 3 pair of the crop. In my opinion they are the best summertime pant I've ever had. They fit well...slightly loose but not so much that they are baggy. Plus they have the tie on the side, so you can pull the hem in and shorten them if you want, and that looks cute too. They are SO COMFORTABLE in warm weather, even the long version. The fabric is so light and airy. Washing and drying is a breeze. They practically come out of the washer dried. These could also be dressed up a bit, if you are traveling and don't want to take too many clothes. Obviously not for a black tie dinner, but with a prettier t shirt or blouse, they definitely could go to a nicer restaurant. I can't say enough about the quality, which of course LL Bean never disappoints in this way. If you are looking for a quality, well made, nice looking, comfortable summer pant, BUY THESE!

Initially purchased these for a "once in a lifetime" Safari trip. Loved them. On return, purchased them in even more colors, and (almost) perfect in every way - looks, fit, material, washability, easy for packing. Only complaint is that I wish the elasticized ties were internal. You're sort of stuck with "what do I do with these things?' if you're not a shirt tucker.

If you want totally comfortable, activity-friendly lightweight summer slacks, these are the ones! I also love the side zip pockets to secure your belongings. They breathe and do not inhibit your mobility in any way--nothing binds and the waist is adjustable.

I love these pants. Wear them as much as possible. Can dress them up a little for work, wear them around the house, wear them to yoga. In love!!! Only complaint is they're a little bit long, but doesn't get in the way or anything.

I bought these pants to wear for cycling (with a gel liner) to keep the sun off my legs while staying cool. They're great for this - light enough for summer, and the drawstring around the ankle keeps them from catching in the bike. But they're so comfortable that I wear them all the time. I'm planning to buy more of them. The only issue was the size, because I ordered M initially and they were way too big. Even the S is a bit big but I like the roominess. Didn't really appreciate paying the return postage, though, since there was no indication that they run big.

These Vista Camp pants are perfect for traveling internationally. They pack light and compact, they can wash and dry overnight, and they are cool in tropical climates. I bought a pair in every color. I just love their comfort and quality.

I first ordered these pants in graphite. I loved the fit and the way they looked. I needed to turn a cuff on them they run a little long.. The graphite color was perfect very neutral. Looks great with blues and light grays. I was so pleased with them that I ordered a second pair in toasted almond. It fits exactly the way the graphite fit. The color is closer to muted cocoa. Looks great with a brown turtleneck as well as an orange tee shirt. My only disappoint is I would have liked to cinch the ankles with the pull, however, the pants are too long for it to look right, and the pull sticks out when it is knotted. This minor thing does not prevent me from giving the pants a 5 star review.

I am 67 years old and "comfort" is extremely important in the clothes I purchase. I own 3 pairs of the vista camp pants and 4 pairs of the cropped version. They are comfortable, and are a great fit. They are my " go to pants".......i can dress they up or down which is why i always take them when i travel. Light weight and easy to pack ....wash them and dry... they are ready to wear. Always looking good!
