I bought a pair in gray last year in the store for a canoe trip. I think they run a little big since I usually wear a large but the medium fit better. They are light and comfortable and dry quickly. I like that you can cinch them in at the ankle to keep out bugs. I like them so much that I recently bought another pair in blue on-line. I'm happy to say that they fit the same which is not always the case when I buy something in a different color. Good job, LLBean!

These pants are my favorite; from the beach, to hiking and mountain biking, to relaxing on the deck, and even to work! They are light, comfortable, and durable (wrecked on my mtn. bike in them and they held together, unlike my skin). They best part - they look nice. Go Camp Pants!!!

This pant is a great all around pant. Works great on cool mornings. Love the ties on the bottom, you can make them into a crop or capris when it gets warmer during the day.

Really like these pants and have 2 pair, wish they came in more colors. I like the pockets and their location, the fabric is not too warm and the fit is very comfortable.

These pants are amazing! I have had some problem with the threading coming out which I was told was very rare but customer service is amazing and my pants have been replaced. I love how L.L.Bean stands behind their products. I went back and got these in every color! Do yourself a favor and buy these! They are cool, comfortable, are adorable with the ankles cinched in (drawstring-option). They tend to relax a little after you wear them. Very flattering. I think thy even dress up a casual look however they can be very casual at the same time.

These are terrific! Have three pairs now, which is sufficient for almost any travel. They fold down to nothing, weigh just about nothing, and wash very easily. Wear them straight or with the ties closed. Great either way! And for sure, no issue with wrinkling!!

These can be worn anywhere dressed up or casual. Love the feel of them. And they go in the wash and dryer . No ironing needed.

These are fantastic pants! Comfortable and can be casual or chic; complimented many times! They fit me so well; I'm evenly proportioned and the elastic tie gives plenty of room for a bigger belly, but cinches well if not. Don't be afraid to order petite. Sadly, a pen was in the wash and ruined my olive pair. Ordering another because I love them so much.

I absolutely love these pants. I am not a hiker. I am a very "mature" woman that lives in a miserably hot and humid city. These pants are cool in every sense of the word. I have three pair and wear one almost every day. I wish they were offered in a couple bright colors but assume hikers are not interested in color.

These are the best travel pants I have ever had, and so comfortable that I wear them every day at home as well. I purchased 3 pairs of these pants in March, and have not worn any other pants since then. One of my 3 pairs pilled a bit on the inner thigh after I wore them almost every day during a 3-week European trip. Otherwise, I have noticed none of the problems mentioned by other reviewers. The pants dry overnight, so I could have made do with just one pair on the trip, but I took 2 , plus a pair of silk longies as an extra layer on chilly days. PERFECT!

Love, love these pants. I have 2 pairs plus a pair of the cropped pants. They are even comfortable in hot weather, I just roll them a couple of times when it's really hot.

We live on the coast in New England, and though our winters are quite cold, our summers are typically hot and humid. We keep central air going to contain the humidity, but wearing shorts isn't possible for me, as I'm disabled, and prefer lightweight pants. I find these LL Bean Vista Camp Pants to be excellent! I had purchased 2 pair initially, and just bought a 3rd. The superb material is exceptionally lightweight, and never causes dampness from waist to thighs, or down the surface of my legs. The waistline is a very comfortable, wide, elasticised material, and fits well, no noticeable pressure. The legs are wide enough to allow for air to circulate, and the pants remain cool and comfy. The ankle edges contain a flat, narrow-width elastic just the width of the opening, so that it can easily remain open wide or tightened; keeping dew or mosquitos out is a cinch. Easily washes, dries with general laundry, using warm water and normal drying cycle. Pant colors sustain well, and I am thoroughly pleased with my purchases! All in all, these are great summer pants!!

Lightweight and perfect slacks for summer. I'm tall and the length could be a little longer. The inseam isn't listed with the product but it is about 31".

These pants fit great, not too tight, not too loose, just right for comfortable hiking. Lightweight fabric is not hot in summer heat.

I had to order a second pair and return the first order. Pants run very large for me. Started with Small- need next size smaller. Glad they had them! Very prompt on my exchange! Thanks!

The most flattering, comfortable, and functional pants you will ever own. My two adult daughters and I bought these pants for a month-long travel/hiking adventure in Europe. The fabric is breathable, but water repellant, and dries within minutes after a rain shower. The waist is soft, kind, and stays where it should. There are multiple non bulky closable pockets. The photos are flattering in our super-functional pants. We are all buying more to wear everyday!

I hate hot weather. These trousers are lightweight and cool. Because Maine summers are getting hotter, I wish there were more products that were sympathetic to increased hot weather

These were great comfortable pants. I wore these 3 times during a vacation to Alaska and they held their shape and were a go to for me. love these!

Very comfortable pants, lightweight and not too warm, even in the summer, and stretchy enough to give a bit. Quick drying. Good pockets too.

I use these pants for travel, mowing my lawn and anyplace I need lightweight, non wrinkle slacks. They are versatile and comfortable, and very easy to wash and machine dry.

These pants are very lightweight and comfortable. Great pockets. You can never have too many pockets. They are a little baggy for me because I don't have much of a butt, but I'd say they run true to size. The only drawback is I really wanted an ecru or light tan color. For such excellent summer pants, there should be more summer colors.

Love these as travel pants; comfy, flattering, and easy to hand wash if laundry service isn't available. I would buy these again and highly recommend them to others.
