I bought a second pair - these are awesome! So comfy!

Great fit. Comfy and breathable. Love thr length!

These shorts are light but tough, flexible and comfortable but still tailored and well cut, and just downright attractive and versatile. The side zipper pockets are amazingly spacious and convenient. I love them! I have every color available.

These are my new favorite shorts! They are well-designed, fit well, and are very comfortable and lightweight for hot days. I like the variety of pockets - and I appreciate that some of the pockets have zippers (and no Velcro anywhere, which I don't care for). My cat did pull one of the threads quite easily when he jumped off my lap - so now there is a pulled up loop of thread which I can't pull back through to make the thread lie flat, which is disappointing. But of course, that doesn't affect the usefulness of the shorts.

So comfortable and cool - even in high humidity. Love the no-iron - just wash and go. Love them!

why five stars? because the style, pockets, and fit are perfect. but the fabric---it's cheap and it pills and pulls and unravels and puckers. it is terrible. they used to make this in a better fabric (my husband has a pair from years ago that he still wears). but they have switched to a very cheap fabric, at least for women, and this fabric started pilling and puckering ONE HOUR into wearing them. this is my second pair; i sent back the first after this pilling happened and they sent me a new pair, but it made no difference. they can send me 1000 pairs but unless they start using quality fabric--and for $60 for a pair of shorts, they definitely should--this will happen over and over. extremely disappointed. (i should also note that the second pair does not fit the way the first pair did. quality control with these shorts is sadly lacking)

Absolutely love these shorts. Wish I had ordered earlier than August because they only have one color in my size. Please restock other colors soon!!!

Where have these shorts been all my life?!? This fabric is amazing for hot humid summer, and nicely detailed with pockets. The only thing I would change is the waist - could be a little snugger. But, that's why there are belts, right?

I bought these shorts to take on a trip where it would be very hot and humid and where I would have to do laundry in the sink at night. These shorts were perfect--super-comfortable, resists stains and odors, look pretty good considering that they're not "fancy" and dried like a dream after washing. I liked them so much that I bought another pair while I was still on my trip! Highly recommend.

These shorts have great pocket placement and are extremely comfortable.

Love these so much! I have trouble fitting my long rise and big thighs but these cover the subject and stay up, so the waist is nicely proportional. With the hot summer we are having in the northwest, they help relieve the heat without showing more of me than anyone wants to see. And they wash/line dry nicely. I haven't put them in the dryer but they are very light and dry rapidly. Great for hiking too with lots of pocket space. LLBean take notice: don't change a thing other than more colors please!

These are the lightest shorts I've ever had (lightweight) - great for hot weather (live in desert) /extreme heat - are durable - have 2 pair - want to get more - size /color not available each time I check. I prefer a loose fit for biking / hiking - they look good. I wear daily so wash often - have had since May this year.

I bought 2 pair of these 3 years ago for a dream National Park 2 wk trip. They have lasted, worn and washed beautifully. When I found them on sale I bought 3 more. Great material, lots of pockets, light wt. Quick drying and stylish great fit. Love them.

I love, love these shorts! The fabric is very silky on the skin yet very strongly woven. They are completely comfortable - my first wearings were in very hot and humid conditions and they performed perfectly. The many pockets make my work easier since I can pack my ID, cell phone and other stuff on my body (I have a part-time gig doing landscaping), and they wash up great too. I bought them in the olive green color (doesn't show grass and soil stains), but may have to buy more in the other colors.

I bought these for hiking and they are perfect for that, however they're also nice enough to wear as dressier shorts. Very lightweight and comfortable. They fit true to size.

Finally women have shorts with lots of pockets. Best summer shorts I have ever wore.
