I couldn't be more disappointed in these sheets. They are the most expensive sheets I've ever bought and they feel like cheap sheets you'd buy at a closeout discount store. They are AWFUL. I was expecting a soft cotton that would feel good when I got into bed. Instead, they are scratchy and feel like polyester. The only thing I like about them is the color. I wanted to return them because I will never use them, but the return was too much of a hassle.

Didn't last more than 2 years before seams started splitting and ripping apart.

I love these sheets because of their size. There is actually plenty of top sheet to cover up with without stealing from your bed partner.

These are advertised as pima cotton sheets which I've always had great luck with, but not so much this set. The tag on the sheets does not show "pima" and they are like sleeping in paper! I've tried washing them a few times to see if they will soften up, but no luck. I will be returning this product. First time I've ever been really disappointed in an LL Bean sheet set!

Way more rough than I expected. Thought maybe they'd soften with multiple washes but just a lot more textured than I guess I expected.

Worst sheets I've ever purchased. Uncomfortable, scratchy, I am afraid to buy anything else from llbean now, for fear that the quality has gone. All my sheets are from llbean. Never had issues in the past, but this was a lot of money for the worst sheets I've ever slept on.

Very deep fitted sheet won't work on a smaller mattress.

I purchased these sheets after reading a very positive independent review and recommendation. After the first washing, wrinkles formed along the top binding that no amount of ironing would remove. Then after a year and a half, the bottom fitted sheet actually wore away and split. to their credit, LL Bean did issue a gift card in the amount of my purchase price. However, I would NOT recommend these sheets.

Sheets performed well for three years then split down the middle of fitted sheet. Called and was told that's beyond reasonable warranty period. I wonder how long they are expected to last? Disappointed. Not the first time. So much for LLBean quality.

I have been a loyal if irregular L Bean customer for most of my 81+ years and ordered these sheets with confidence that turned out to be totally misplaced. They are uncomfortable and repeated washing does nothing to soften them.We have used them once and I very much doubt that we will use them again. $150+ down the drain.

From other independent reviews, I expected so much more from these sheets! The fabric does not have the substantial feel I expected, and the hemstitched border is very narrow. I washed the sheets prior to use, and attached photo shows what happened to the border. I am returning immediately.

These sheets would probably make a good tarp. The only thing that might be good about them is durability, but I wasn't going to sleep in them long enough to find out. After two restless nights I sent them back. They were the most uncomfortable sheets I've ever slept in. And I used to regularly stay in "extended stay" hotels for work.

I have purchased other bed linens from LLBean in the past and have never been disappointed. Then I purchased these sheets thinking that they would be higher quality than those I had purchased elsewhere. Right at three years after purchase, I noticed very thin material and holes in only one place on the bottom sheet. I have never returned anything to LLBean used, much less after three years. LLBean argued it was bc our feet were wearing them thin. This is a king size bed, with same dimensions on each side, therefore the bottom sheet goes on a different way each time. So, if their argument was true, they would wear in the same spot in 4 corners (not 1)where we our feet are. Pretty disappointed in the quality! LLBean should not carry this product, or they should send me a new bottom sheet.
Although they said they would send them back, They still have my sheets or I would attach a photo.

The material is weird and they are oversized. These were recommended by Wirecutter but I can't imagine why. I am going to try and return them. They are slippery in a way all good cotton sheets should not be.

I decided to buy these percale sheets based on reviews. I received the product. Washed them. They are not crisp, very limp. I washed them again thinking they still had sizing in them. This did not help. They are very rough to sleep on. They definitely do not feel like 100% cotton sheets. Very poor product.

These sheets barely lasted 3 years. They started turning yellow from the get-go and continued to get worse. These are supposed to last decades. Waste of money, waste of time. L.L. Bean denied anything was wrong with them. They blamed me sleeping on them for the discoloration. I washed them weekly, no bleach, still turned yellow. I want my money back. DO NOT BUY.

These are the worst sheets I have ever purchased. I bought sheets from LLBean several years ago and they are are still my favorites. I even told the sales associate that I needed very soft sheets due to a skin condition and she assured me that these were soft. They are like sleeping on packing paper and they itch like crazy. Laundering did not help so they are crammed into the back of the linen closet.

Washed vapor gray sheets cold (by themselves and with gentle laundry detergent) before I put them on my bed and the color immediately bled. They came out looking yellow. Absolutely bizarre. The color has only continued to deteriorate over time, as well. I thought about returning them but I just never did and now they are this weird yellow/gold color. The strangest part might be that the color is consistently gold, though. It's not even splotchy. I have never used bleach in the washer and have had no issues with any other clothes. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN LEON LEONWOOD?

I bought a queen size set of these sheets in mid-blue several weeks ago. The color of the actual sheets is lighter than what's shown on the website. The sheets are rough and have a grainy feel that sctratches my skin. Very uncomfortable. I've washed the sheets twice in hot water, and was hoping that would soften them up, but so far no luck. (Another reviewer recommended washing in baking soda and vinegar five times to to counteract the sizing used in the sheets - maybe I'll try that.) I wouldn't buy them again.

I've had my queen size llbean sheets for a couple of years now. The biggest problem that I have had happened recently when I propped myself up on my elbow and the fitted sheets ripped. Just like that...the fitted sheet ripped. I've never had that happen in all the year's I've been sleeping in a bed (which is more years than most of you have been alive).
Also, there is a problem with shrinkage. The top sheet has shrunk and would probably fit well on a double bed after washing in cold/lukewarm water and drying with medium heat in the dryer. You definitely need a king size top sheet for a queen size bed after a few washings.
No, I do not recommend these sheets.

We could not tolerate these sheets. The fabric doesn't wrinkle however it doesn't breathe and we woke up boiling hot and sweating in these sheets. They are either not 100 % cotton or have been treated with chemicals. We were really shocked that these were being sold by you. They might be nice in freezing weather but will not work at all for us. We live in a warm climate.

After washing and using this sheet set on my bed (twice) I am very disappointed in the quality of theses sheets. They are very thin and do not feel like the 100% crisp cotton sheets I have ordered from LLBean in past years. Something else must be mixed in with the material.
Not what I expected, nor worth the money. I have returned them today and will continue to use my old sheets.
