Have used LL Bean sheets for long time. The cream color is pleasing. These are still very good and while they are soft, they are not as crisp as past versions. I just bought a new standard, two-sided queen mattress. These sheets seem to be proportioned for a thicker, one-sided mattress. Thus, on a my mattress, the bottom sheet particularly, doesn't fit as snug as would be ideal.

I love these sheets, but I put them on my bed before washing them as I was so excited to try them (don't tell my mom I didn't wash them first!). ;) They were lovely. Then, I washed them and the fitted sheet shrunk about 1" around. As I have a 14" deep mattress, the fitted sheet *just barely* covered the mattress. I had to pull it so tight to get around the mattress. So, if you have a 14" mattress, I'm not sure I'd recommend them as I wouldn't buy them again for that reason alone. But, they are lovely sheets - so soft and comfortable and cool -- very high quality. The flat sheet is perfectly long and quite wide, even after washing, so it almost seems like a mis-match.

These sheets are the quality one expects from L.L.Bean

This is my second set of these sheets. I first bought them in white and recently ordered them in the cream color. The sheets are great, I love them and recommend them. The color swatch online looked like an off white, exactly what I was looking for. The color should be called "butter". They are light yellow, the color was just not what I was expecting. I did keep them and will use them in another room but not in the master bedroom that I purchased them for.

Like pink color and pima cotton is good, but please double the thread count! I would be willing to pay more.

the sheets are great. The loss of a star has to do with the price. Luckily, we were able to use Bean Bucks to pay for it.

I have two sets of these sheets now. The fabric is lovely and since it's nearly wrinkle-free, it looks great when you take it out of the dryer and fold it up, and again when you make up the bed with it. I swap the sets every time we strip the bed. My only complaint is that it's not colorfast; over time (I've had them for a while), they develop bleached areas where my hands or face have touched them. I assume this is due to the lotion or sanitizer on my hands and the lotion on my face. I wouldn't NOT buy them because of this, so this review is just a heads up not to be surprised when it happens to your sheets. When these wear out, I'll buy them again.

I really like the sheets, however I ordered them because I needed full /double and these were double/ queen. I feel they are a little wide for my needs but I just need to tuck more under.

Have only been using these sheets for a few weeks but very satisfied with the feel and fit. It's nice to have a fitted sheet that stays where it is supposed to! I would have rated it 5 stars if I could have found the color that was my first choice.

I have two sets of the percale, white queen-sized sheets. I like sleeping under the feel of percale. The flat sheet top edge does not lie flat. It has creases, not so much wrinkles as creases. I have tried pressing the top edge with a damp pressing cloth. I sent it out to get cleaned and pressed. It does not lie flat beyond one use. Now I am steaming it every day. Does anyone have any ideas for a permanent solution? It is my New Year's resolution to have the sheet lie flat at the edges. The other three edges also have creases, but I am mostly bothered by the top edge. Thank you.

The sheets are amazing. Comfortable, cool, perfect. But the pillowcases do not have an 'envelope' closure. Not a deal breaker, but also not ideal as the pillowcases slip off of my pillows. It's frustrating enough that I probably won't purchase a second set.

I like the sheets, however I must say that in this day and age, I was appalled at how long the delivery process was from beginning to end.

I'm hoping these will soften over repeated washings, but they look very nice. They just seem to be a little rougher than I remember them being. The color is really nice and the set looks good.

Sheet set does not have the level of softness desired. However, they wash nicely.

I was sooo happy to find percale sheets, surely an endangered fabric! These are a generous size and well made, though the fabric is a bit on the thin side. I'm hoping they wear well and will be comfy for our guest bed.

The only reason I'm giving four stars is because of sizing. These are too big for my mattress. I ended up buying an additional top sheet in the full size. The queen size hung down almost to the floor. Too much sheet! I think a lot of the newer mattresses don't require such large sheets. Other than that, they are perfect. I bought the white ones, and they are VERY comfortable.

Nice fabric, have washed twice now and they seem to be breaking in. Some pilling after first wash. My mattress is 14 1/2" deep fine that way, but I found I need to pin the fabric on the corners to get the bottom to fit snugly against the mattress

Nice sheets - they are smooth and wash well without the edges wrinkling up too much. They are very generously sized compared to the sheets I have used in the past, which is good for sleeping, but means that the flat sheet sticks out around the edges of my bedspread and comforter if I don't tuck it in -- a minor annoyance.

I purchased these when another more pricey set from Macy's wore out in less than a year. A little skeptical but so happy with these sheets! They are smooth and cool. So comfortable. I do recommend taking them out of the dryer right away as they wrinkle easily. Ready for another set!

These sheets are very comfortable on a hot, humid night. They are also large enough to fit a deep mattress and haven't shrunk after several washings. Knock on wood.

I've ordered sheets from LLBean for quite a few years and thought I was getting the same silky smooth sheets as before. These sheets are fine, but they are not nearly as smooth and soft to the touch as the prior sheet set.

I decided to treat myself with some nice sheets, so after looking at reviews bought these Pima cotton sheets. I like the crisp feel of the sheets. It's easy to make the bed since they fit so nicely over my queen size mattress. They are a treat! But if they were made in USA they would be a 5 star treat.

The fabric is soft, but the Queen size set would work best on an extra deep mattress. All of my mattresses are 11 or 12 inches, so the fitted sheet is very baggy and the flat sheet falls below the side edges of the king-size coverlet. Ordered these sheets because of good review in Consumer Report. Would recommend only if you have a 14 or 15 inch deep mattress.
