This blanket is soft and warm. However it doesn't stay put on the bed even though I tuck in the bottom. I find that I have to remake the bed every morning. I would not buy again.

So cozy but after washing has started shedding along the edges. Not sure how to fix it, but it's a mess and I'm disappointed to find this issue after being so excited about the blanket.

I was so excited to finally get this blanket and when I felt how soft it was anticipated buying a second one for our guest room- until I washed it. The edges have this fluffy pilling all around that is shedding everywhere and I don't know how to get off. Super disappointed as everyone raves about this blanket and I'm not having the same experience.

I was just gifted this blanket. I have to say it's very soft but also pretty thin. My issue is one of the side of the blanket the seam has extra material that looks that is very choppy and not sewn the same way as the other 3 sides. It's hard to describe so I added some pictures. Is this normal? I'd hate to think my aunt spent $140.00 on a blanket as a gift and received this.

Very soft and warm. Too soft for me to arrange neatly on our bed when I want to turn the blanket over. I need a firm blanket that is also warm for cold nights.

I really loved the quality of this blanket. It is extremely warm and soft. The major problem with it is that the material is so slippery that nothing will stay in place. Every morning our top quilt would be way over on my husband's side and this blanket would literally be touching the floor. If you are looking for an "all season" blanket I also think this would be too warm.

This blanket really is wickedly soft and cozy, but after one wash, everything in my living room is covered in little white pills. I can't sit under it without my pants being fuzzy beyond belief. I've had similar blankets from Target over the years and none of them have ever shed this much.

I have washed this several times since I purchased it in Sept 2023. Little bits of fuzz are coming count all over it and on anything I wash with it. It's one of the warmest & softest blankets I've ever had. Sad.

First, the positive. This blanket is soft and cozy. Now, the negative. There is nothing "full size" about this blanket. It's a queen size blanket and drags on the floor. Secondly, it is impossibly slippery. It is virtually impossible to keep the blanket on the bed. I stopped using it. It requires remaking the bed every single day.

This blanket keeps sliding down. I wake up cold in the middle of the night and the blanket is bunched up around my legs. I tried washing but no difference. Plus it is a bit short.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. When it arrived I immediately machine washed it, in cold water, and dried on No Heat as required on the tag. Two hours later, despite having only been spin-damp from the washer, it still wasn't dry, because No Heat. It was also shedding like crazy and the shed fibers were pilling up all over it like cobwebs, especially along the edges. I finally gave up and put yet more quarters in the dryer and ran it on Low Heat just to get it dry and take it home. I can't give this to my husband, it looks terrible. I would return it but my husband's assistant threw away the box it came in with the receipt. I'm going to donate it to a homeless person on the street who won't care. At least it's warm and soft, and the color was nice.

The NYT Wirecutter review made this sound like the perfect blanket. Sadly, it's not. I love LL Bean and I don't want to write a disparaging review. However, the blanket is not nearly as warm as advertised (and I'm a person who's alway warm). Though it's incredibly soft, it slides all over the bed (I'm sure there's a technical name for that). And it was very expensive for the King size. I'm sorry to say that my wife and I are done with it. It's consigned to a plastic bag. Maybe we can use it in a warmer climate. Thanks for reading.

We already own three of this blanket, and we love them. But we just bought a new one, and this one sheds so much! We have washed it twice, and it it still covered in little bits that are falling out. Please change back to the fabric you used to make these out of. We will be returning this.

A disappointing purchase. It is both too smooth and too short. If you want to tuck in the foot of the blanket, you're out of luck. It is too short. More importantly, it slides down towards the foot of the bed overnight and slips over to the side as well so that by the time I wake up in the morning, the blanket is down at the foot of the bed and wadded up over to the side.

The blanket is very soft and seems good quality. Unfortunately, it doesn't stay put. It shifts around and migrates during the night and the bedspread on top of it also slips around. The bed becomes a total jumble until it's a messy heap of twisted around layers. The blanket just isn't usable.

I was hoping for a more substantial blanket. It was not clear to me that this was a silky plush type of blanket. This kind of plush blanket feels and looks cheap to me. Since it cost four times what another similar blanket did at another online outlet, I feel disappointed. I was counting on LLBean quality and thought it would be worth it. I would have returned it but we had guests for the holidays and it was very cold. And the return shipping charges would be high. It's warm enough but what happened to the smooth wonderful fleece that I used to find at LLBean? One positive thing is that it arrived onetime. Our guests didn't have to be cold.

Feels soft and is a warm blanket. Doesn't stay on the bed. Slid's off bed easily. Doesn't matter where it's placed on the top . Sheet, blanket , one more blanket, bed spread . I found it stays the best if I put on top of my bedspread.

This blanket is beautiful - beautiful color, cozy and soft, just what I was looking for EXCEPT for some reason, the care instructions state no heat or air-dry only. For anyone who doesn't have a fancy dryer with an air-dry setting, this is most unreasonable. For someone like me who lives in an apartment without access to said fancy dryer or clothesline or space to air-dry a Queen-sized blanket, it's also lame. Why on earth would a fleece blanket not be Tumble Dry Low?! I ended up returning it and pouted the whole time.

Given the product's high rating, both on its description page and on NY Times Wirecutter, I expected to feel really warm under it, but that was not the case. However it definitely feels huggably plush.

I waited for months for this blanket on back order for my son, and we were very excited for it to arrive last week. It is wicked cozy. But it also is shedding everywhere even through two washes. There is blue lint on our couch, on our bed, on towels, on underwear...just everywhere. Will this calm down after more washes, or is this just going to shed away? Time will tell.

This is a soft to the touch blanket. Feels luxurious however it travels throughout the night. It constantly is falling off the bed. Would not recommend

I washed and dried blanket for first time and it came out covered in fuzz. I immediately washed it again and again it still came out covered in fuzz. I would not recommend it. I was going to buy a second one, but now, nope. I bought queen size, color cream
