Soft and warm but so slick and it won`t stay on the bed. I bought flannel sheets. I ordered and used a device called a Blanket Buddy. Neither helped.

I must say this blanket does keep me warm, and I love the way it feels. However, it is annoying that I quite often wake up in the morning with half or all of this blanket on the floor next to my bed. I toss and turn quite a bit, and I have another (non-fleece, plain cotton) blanket underneath this polar fleece blanket, and somehow the two don't get along well. I had no idea this was a property of fleece--slipperiness. It's not bad enough to make me want to return the blanket, but I probably wouldn't recommend It to a friend without telling them about the problem. Maybe somebody at Bean has a solution? I should also mention that I have a twin bed. Maybe the weight of a larger blanker on a larger bed would help keep it on top of a sleeper where it belongs.

While I love the plushness and comfort of this blanket, it is so short in length that I can't tuck it in at the bottom and when I reverse it, the sides are much too short. Also, the care instructions say that it should not be dried in the dryer, I have no way of drying it, I live in WA state where we have lots of rain and no clotheslines.

I had already written a review but received an email asking for another...odd, but here it is: hem coming apart after just a month or so. Deciding whether it's more trouble to return or to repair.

We have had this only a couple of months, but the hem is coming apart. I'm not sure whether it would be more trouble to repair or return. It's a disappointment.

Not sure if the blanket is warm or not. I can seldom find it. I'm a restless sleeper and the blanket disappears to my feet or the side during the night. My dog's side of the bed is in a circle from him turning around as dogs are prone to do. Have to re-make the bed every morning by removing my bedspread so I can find the blanket. It's cold here. Need lots of covers.

I liked the feel -very squishy - but found it overall heavy in weight. Have a double bed, and the fact that it's a double/queen meant it was too big, really.

This blanket is so pretty and soft that I immediately loved it and then I put it on the bed and became very annoyed as it will not stay in place; I keep waking up and finding the blanket at the foot of the bed. This material would make a better throw than a blanket.

Thinner & slippery, I was thinking it would be more weighty & substantial feeling. It has a cheap feel to me. More & more items seem to be made in China. I prefer to purchase American made items.

I will keep this blanket because my grandchildren will probably like it. I was disappointed that it is so shiny and unnatural. It's very soft, but looks like it came from a discount store. I'm glad that I only ordered the twin size.

This is a particularly soft blanket, and very warm. My only problem with it is that it slides right off the bed with percale sheets. Has anyone discovered some way to keep it on the bed? Does a cotton blanket underneath it help? I have 2 other Polartec blankets which don't slip at all. Thank you.

We personally did not like this blanket. The reason being that try as we might, we could not keep this blanket on the bed. Every morning was like remaking the entire bed. We appreciate and are grateful that LLBean stands behind their product. It was extremely easy to return the blanket and the refund/credit was applied in a very timely manner. We remain LLBean customers....

The blanket is soft, perhaps too soft as it slips and slides. Ends up in puddle on one side of bed. Have to completely remake bed every morning.

This has been the greatest blanket until I had to wash it. It's shedding all over everything and covering the room in a thin layer of "dust?" I spent over an hour taking the pilling off today and the pile I was left with was bigger than my dust pan. I love the weight of this blanket, the colour is lovely as well, it's just very frustrating waking up to the lint all over my pajamas and hair even.

I love the warmth of this blanket, but it slides off the bed, and makes the comforter slide off as well. I find myself in the middle of the night digging under the duvet to find the blanket and drag it back in to place. This happens with both flannel and cotton sheets.

As described, this blanket is cozy! It is soft and warm. The one thing that resulted in a rating of only 3 stars, is that it is slippery and falls down to the foot of the bed or off the sides. I have to keep pulling it back up around my shoulders.

It is true that these blankets are soft and cuddly. I ordered the blue and the Driftwood color. My first order wS for three queens. None of them were wide enough to cover the mattress edges for queen beds. Then I ordered the king size to use on my queen beds. They were wide enough side to side but too short for the length of the beds. I tried placing them both ways to try and make them work. Sizing is just way off. I'm going to have to send them all back. Really disappointed.

This is a soft, fluffy warm blanket but it's too short to tuck in on the end of a thick mattress. Most queen blankets are about 96" long this one is 88" which leaves about 2" to tuck in. Doesn't make sense to me, never had a queen blanket come up short. Haven't decided whether to keep as a throw or return. . . Except for size, I like it.

This blanket is everything the description says. It's light and warm and I really liked the color I bought. BUT, I couldn't keep this blanket on my bed. Every morning for two weeks I would have to strip my bed and remake it. The blanket would be on one side on the floor and the spread would be on the other side on the floor. I tried tucking it in at the bottom, but nothing worked. So I returned it for the fleece blanket which is just as light and warm and stays on the bed.

I bought this blanket for the guest bedroom and liked the softness so much I bought a twin size for my teens to use on the couch when they're watching TV. The softness is terrific, but the kids say the blanket doesn't provide warmth. They prefer the old throws we already had. Bummer.

I love the blanket. It was the second one I purchased. However, this one I ordered monogrammed. I just gave it as a gift to my daughter and couldn't believe my eyes! I had her name put on it. The name itself is done very nicely, it's just where they put it. It is near the top edge. So when you put the blanket on the bed it will be under the pillows. If you fold the blanket down so you can see the name, you have a choice - upside down or reverse side. Very disappointed. I don't know who did this but they didn't think about it at all. Skip the monogramming!

Pros: generously sized for full-sized bed; very soft and warm; great texture. Cons: pricey for a polyester blanket; too hot for me to feel comfortable at night. Breathable wool blankets from Bean are far superior. I suspect I could get a similar blanket at Marshalls or Homegoods for a lot less money. I'm keeping it for the guest room, but I would not use it on my bed daily. In a throw size, it would be great!

I purchased a Full/Queen size about a month ago. And have been using is since the weather turned cool - about 2 weeks. It is nicely warm and comfy. But it is too small to fit on my Queen-sized bed. I can't tuck it in and it barely overhangs at the foot of the bed. Also the blanket is rather slick, and does not stay in place overnight. I end up fighting the blanket to bring it back in place.

This blanket is really thin. I can actually see through it. I bought this fleece blanket several years ago and it is thicker and warmer. I regret this purchase.

It's comfy, slides between sheet and comforter. But having to air dry in the dryer takes about 3-4 hours on air cycle.
